Battle for Space II

"hahahah, it has been a long time since I can fight an exciting battle, Kid be careful the next move won't be simple."

with his words the surrounding mana started to become more restless.

Saul started to fly and huge amount of mana was gathered in his mouth.

"Kid don't dodge this attack, try to take it and survive, you've only fought easy battle, if you fail the dungeon will be destroyed and this secret room will be discovered."

I agree that I lack the feeling of danger from my fight since I prepared for all of them, but it can't always be a battle I'm prepared.

I readied my body and was about to disturb Saul, but suddenly a huge amount of pressure kept pressing me and stopping me from moving.

"you lost your focus, it gave me a chance to prevent you from moving, in battle where you have an equal opponent a moment of distraction is dangerous, so what will you do now?"

now feeling extreme danger from his attack and the risk of destruction of the dungeon, My brain started to move faster and time become slower for me because of the rush of the adrenaline towards my brain.

I can't move and it seems he lock the pace node around him preventing me from teleporting closer to him.

Saul words flash in my mind, I decided to use the most powerful ability of space.

I decided to put a gamble and manipulate the space path not distorting it but try to make an opening in the path, make it larger enough and strong enough, while also sensing the location where I can transfer his attack.

the energy I feel from his jaws is so big and without waiting for me he release it towards me.

using the move from my sword technique 'Warp Riposte' I open a path huge passage to accept his attack, but unlike the normal where I release it back towards him, I guided the energy to the top of one of the mountain far from this place, using huge amount of mana to open the door in such great distance drain made me use every last bit of mana I have left, my consciousness is slowly slipping but I kept holding since if I failed the place I sent will be cut of in the middle and it would cause a more dangerous explosion.

seeing this Saul stop attacking and focus on watching my action with a hint of approval.

finally after a moment the whole attack was swallowed and enter the space path, closing the path it move towards the opened path on the mountain.

on top of mountain a space crack slowly open, from it was a huge cluster of fiery energy, it was finally sent out from the space opening and landed on the mountain and hitting it.

the result of the impact was a huge Vibration and making the top part of the mountain become missing creating a huge crater on top of it.

many of future visitor think there was a powerful item that crash down and there a lucky person that pick the treasure or there was a huge battle that destroy the area on the mountain top.

I suddenly feel sleepy after transferring the attack to another place.

my hearing become more obscure by the moment and finally I lost my consciousness.

Saul swoop down and catches me before Raiya fall towards the floor

"good job Kid, you just learn a powerful technique."

he immediately repair the space surrounding the fighting location so the spectator can come closer.

"Auriel you can come here now, I know you're worried about the Kid, I can see it in your face."

Auriel hurriedly use her wing to fly towards Raiya location.

"Uncle Saul, there no dinner for you today, if you want to eat you need to cook it yourself." she growled to Saul while showing an annoyed face to him

"hahahahah, sorry Auriel it is been a long time since I fight like that, the Kid is very talented since he can keep up with me, and shouldn't you be happy since your lover is strong, that means he can protect you."

"hmph sweet words won't help you, I will just cook you a single steak."

with that she Immediately carry Raiya towards the mansion and intend to take him to his room.

Saul can only shake his head looking at the Dungeon Fairy little antics, he then only realize there is an extra person among them.

"so who are you human?, since you can enter here it means you have some use for the Kid?"

"Lord Saul, I am Mark, Please to meet you."

with the powerful roar Mark started to show fear in his face, afraid because the aura that Saul release as if a ancient beast was opening it's jaws and threatening to swallow him full

"Call me Soulrelus, only the kid and the little lass can call me Saul."

"as you wish Lord Soulrelus."

"so what's your job?, little human."

"I help Sir Raiya in selling and gathering follower in the Human city."

"is that so, what is your purpose coming here?"

Mark started to look back towards the two undead, the two then nodded at him telling himthat he can consult Saul.

"I came to report to sir Raiya."

hearing this Saul kept silent and peering to his eyes and suddenly said. "you already seen what I am capable of so think twice of doing something stupid."

he then disappear from the place and after leaving his words of warning.

after he left Mark breath finally become normal again.

"it seems I need to ask a report from my subordinate about your action Mr. Mark, I hope Sir Soulrelus words is just a passing warning and you didn't do an unforgivable action, if not you won't even need Sir Soulrelus to make a move, I will personally do it my self."

Valthorian then walk towards the mansion.

Mark can only show a wry smile towards Valthorian, and turn to Farian to ask him to show him the place where he can wait until Raiya regain consciousness.

Farian then guide Mark to one of the guest house prepare for this occasion, this house was intended to be used by either him or the Traveling Merchant.
