Chapter 4: Bharat’s School life

In Rajgarh public school it was just another normal day where teachers were teaching their students in the classroom with high class structures and amenities; however since this was one of the top grade schools in the Rajgarh town so only the rich families could afford to send their children to be taught here.

Bharat was a seventeen year old boy studying in class twelfth. Like most of the teenagers he mostly used to hang out with his group of friends and used to sit together with them in the class.

Bharat's group of friends consists of a total of five people and they were Abhimanyu, Karthik, Aarav, Pallavi and Bharat himself.

In which Abhimanyu was Bharat's best and closest friend and Abhimanyu used to hang out with Bharat the most. Abhimanyu's father was in the military in a high ranking post so his family was rich and naturally in his family they had a tradition of maintaining a healthy lifestyle so Abhimanyu had a well-built body and had a good height due to the immense workout regime and exercises he followed since childhood. Bharat being Abhimanyu's best friend had an influence on him and used to go for workout together and thus Bharat also had a nice lean body with adequate amount of fat and with good height.

Karthik's father was the mayor of the Rajgarh town and had a very high level connections in the city while Aarav and Pallavi's father were renowned businessman in Rajgarh Town and had huge financial assets hence all of them were able to get admissions in Rajgarh Public School since admittance to the prestigious Rajgarh Public School (RPS) is unavailable to anyone without stronger social or financial standing.

However, given Bharat's circumstances, his family did not have any higher connections and was not in a very good financial position. His dad worked as an AML (Anti Money Laundering) officer at IPB (International Premier Bank), giving them a great deal of prestige, which allowed them to manage their connections in addition to managing and overcoming financial pressure so his dad was able to afford Rajgarh Public School (RPS) for Bharat's schooling. It would be right to say that Bharat's family was not very rich yet they would fall somewhere under the middle class category.

It was the month of February and just next month they were going to have their class twelfth board exams so the students were in a lot of pressure to do well in the exams and were even attending extra classes in school for better preparations.

Bharat and his friends Abhimanyu, Karthik, Aarav and Pallavi were all discussing together on how their preparations were and after school which college they wish to get admission.

Karthik said: "Guys I am very tense about the exam next month. I do not know how much I will be able to perform. I'm doing my best, but this math class seems to be incredibly challenging. No matter how much I study and practice, I simply can't seem to grasp all of these theorems and the sums are really difficult to solve."

Pallavi exclaims: "Yes me too Math's is the most difficult subject along with Physics and Chemistry especially when it comes to applying the Periodic table in chemistry and applying the formulas."

Aarav agrees too: "Somehow if we can manage the Math's subject I think the rest of the subjects are not so difficult they can be handled easily."

Abhimanyu was good at Maths so he tries to calm his friends saying: "Friends Math's is actually one of the easiest subjects and usually one can score the maximum number of points if you just know how to solve the problems. When a problem is solved, you receive full marks for it. But, you may feel that the problem is difficult because you lack the knowledge to solve it; but, I assure you that it will be extremely simple once you know the solution."

In agreement with Abhimanyu, Bharat states: "Indeed, Abhimanyu is correct. We will study in groups and support one another so that we may achieve good grades since math is truly easy if you know how to solve problems."

As soon as the last additional period ended and the school bell rang, students began packing their bags for their trip home.

Bharat and his group of friends also started to exit the class room and were preparing to go home.

Aarav asks: "By the way, folks, where do you guys want to graduate after passing out? Given that visiting India's capital city has always been a dream of mine, I believe I will continue my education in Delhi."

Karthik said: "I believe I'll return to my native state of Uttarakhand and finish my degree at one of the local colleges."

Abhimanyu asks Bharat and Pallavi: "And what about you two? Where do you lovebirds intend to finish your graduation? It seems like you have been together for the past almost two years and have never seemed to be apart. I assume that you two intend to attend the same college."

Bharat nods in approval and says: "Yes indeed we have been planning to apply for the Rajgarh College after passing out since it will be closer to home and we will stay together also and what about you Abhimanyu."

Abhimanyu says: "As you guys already know it has been my dream to serve the Indian Army like my dad and Granddad so I will be applying for the military."

After that, they removed their bikes from the school's cycle station and left. In order to give Bharat and Pallavi, the lovebirds, some alone time because they typically don't have much time to spend together because of exams and the hectic pace of school, Abhimanyu, Aarav, and Karthik left them behind.

Bharat, Abhimanyu, Karthik, Aarav and Pallavi have been studying in Rajgarh Public School since they were toddlers and have been friends since then. Though Bharat and Pallavi used to have feelings for each other from very early however Bharat and Pallavi have confirmed their feelings for each other after passing out of class tenth so they were officially a couple since the last two years.

Pallavi was Bharat's childhood friend. She was tall and pretty also she used to love Bharat a lot although Bharat was not very muscular or thin he was of average built with an athletic body with an average looking face but was not good in sports so Bharat also used to reciprocate her feelings.

Bharat says: "Pallavi I have been thinking about the future a lot these days."

Pallavi wonders: "What about the future?"

Bharat explains: "Since we already love each other and we know our feelings for each other I think once we complete our graduation and I get a job then we should marry and settle for life."

Pallavi says: "Yes my love I am very happy that you proposed this still I think before we tie the knot we should get a job first after graduation then we should move to the next phase of life."

Bharat confirms: "Of course my love we should definitely get a job before we tie the knot."

After having a brief conversation while cycling they almost reached home so they parted with each other for their respective homes.
