Chapter 37: The Test

For one week Bharat did as he was told and practiced the technique which has been assigned to him by his Guru and he had also become very proficient with it in all this time as he was able to feel the power in his body which he can regulate on his own and now he also has come to know about the name for this power which is Tvisi by his Guru. Since he could control the Tvisi in his body he was starting to gain control on the strength and speed in his body also at his own will which earlier he was not able to do since he could not save himself at the time when Rahul and Mary and their friends were all bullying him when he first entered the college on his first day and he could feel a lot of power in his body however he just could not use it to defend himself however at the time when the criminal gang members surrounded him along with his family while coming to the Rajgarh Town train station and pointed gun at his father at that point of time he was able to use his power to fight of the goons and were able to chase them away successfully.

Thankfully, it worked at that moment, or his father would have been seriously wounded, since his father was already extremely unwell and could not handle the thought of his family being hurt in any way.

But the situation is going to be a lot different now since he has started to get control on the flow of Tvisi on his body to control the powers and as per the instructions provided by his Guru once he was able to exert control on the Tvisi he was supposed to meet his Guru to choose his attributes.

Today was Saturday morning so college was off so he informed his parents that he was going to meet Professor Shastri for extra classes on science and went to meet him in the Surya sect headquarters as he already knew the way.

Bharat took the public bus route and arrived at the Headquarters and reached the two floor building. The guards at the gates were different at this time however when he reached they did not stop him and he was allowed to go in then he followed the previous route which was shown by Professor Shastri and followed the narrow passage and arrived at the lift and went down the lift and reached the big lounge where most of the people were present then he was approved by some disciple and led to the room where Professor Shastri was waiting and he went in.

Bharat Greeted Professor Shastri: "Good Morning Professor Shastri."

Professor Shastri greeted back: "Good Morning Bharat! Did you learn the technique which I taught you and learned to exert control over the Tvisi in your body?"

Bharat replied: "Sir I have learned to exert control over the flow of Tvisi in my body."

Professor Shastri appreciated Bharat: "Great you did well to develop control over Tvisi in such a short period of time. I did not expect you to develop this control so quickly."

Professor Shastri continued: "Now we need to do some tests to know exactly what kind of powers you have and the level of the powers. Follow me I will take you to the training ground"

Professor Shastri took Bharat through the passageway and various chambers before arriving into the training grounds. The training ground was vast however it had a metallic high sealing which indicated that they were still underground.

 Professor Shastri said: "Sit here on the white mat and first meditate and use the technique to circulate the Tvisi in your body for five minutes."

Bharat did as per the instructions of Professor Shastri and then professor Shastri asked Bharat to stand up to take a sprint test.

Professor Shastri said: "Bharat now that you are accustomed to the Tvisi flowing through your veins and arteries so now you have to take a sprint test first and you have to concentrate most of your Tvisi on your legs so that you can get the momentum and run as fast as possible. I will count to three and then fire the pistol and you have to run as fast as possible to reach the other end of this hundred meter track."

Bharat said: "Sure I will do my best."

With that Professor Shastri counted to three and fired the Pistol and started the stop watch and Bharat ran through the track like a cheetah and as soon as he reached the other end Professor Shastri stopped the stop watch and saw that it stopped at 5.58 seconds.

Bharat came back and saw his speed and he felt good that he was even able to beat the world record of 9.58 seconds in the hundred meter race and said: "Sir I am the fastest man on earth and I have broken the world record."

Professor Shastri said: "No you have not because you have just reached the human limit and this is just the human limit of speed and the fastest speed which is recorded at the international games that is not actually the Human limit. Also with the help of Tvisi when you reach higher stages you will be able to run with inhuman speed with the speed of lightning for real."

Professor Shastri said: "So now we will do the strength test and you have to lift weight."

Professor Shastri took Bharat towards the huge boulders which were kept on the training field and he asked Bharat to lift them one by one.

Bharat as instructed by Professor Shastri channeled all his Tvisi on his legs, hands and shoulders and then lifted the first one with a weight of one hundred kilograms very easily and gradually when he started to lift the bigger ones it became difficult. Till six hundred kilograms he was able to lift easily however after that it became difficult and at last Bharat was able to lift a weight of one thousand Kilograms and that seems to be the limit.

Professor Shastri said: "Good now in terms of speed and strength you have already reached the human limit and doing very well now we will have to test which attribute is most suited to you."

Bharat followed Professor Shastri to a table on which various peculiar instruments and things were kept.

Professor Shastri said "So now that we have tested your physical strength and speed which has already reached up to the human limit, we have to test for some elemental attributes to know which affinity will be most suited to you which will also be one of your inhuman powers. You know the five elements of the universe right which are Fire, water, Air, Earth and space and these are the most basic elements of nature apart from these there are more elements which are a combination of these elements such as thunder, sound, ice etc."

Professor Shastri further said: "Now come here in front of the table we will first test the Fire attribute. You can see this candle right now, try to light this candle up."

Bharat looked confused since he did not find any lighter or match stick on the table: "Sir how will I light the candle without any matchstick or lighter."

Professor Shastri said: "You just need to channel your Tvisi into your hands and try to light the candle."

Bharat did as per the instructions he first regulated the Tvisi from his heart to all parts of the body and meridians and then channeled it on his fingers however he could not understand how to convert that into fire and light up to candle so nothing happened and in the end all the Tvisi just scattered into his body and absorbed by his heart.

Professor Shastri watched and said: "So perhaps you are unable to light a candle so we will take a different approach this time."

Bharat looked on and Professor Shastri lit the candle this time by himself and placed another candle just one foot away from the previous candle and said: "So now you have fire on the candle try to take this fire and shift it to this second candle here which is placed just one foot away from the first one."

Then Bharat tried again, this time accumulating the Tvisi on his heart and channeling it through his body, then channeling it to his hands and attempting to suck the heat coming from the candle fire, and the blaze automatically floated in the air and hovered on Bharat's palm, then Bharat directed the small flame towards the other candle, and it floated towards the other candle on air and lit up the other candle.

Professor Shastri was pleased and commended Bharat after he succeeded this time in shifting the flame from one candle to another: "Good job Bharat and this proves that you have fire attribute in you that you were able to shift this flame from one to another though you were not able to light up the candle in the first attempt and I would have been surprised if you were successful since no one has been able to do that since thousands of years apart from the deity of the Surya sect himself."

Bharat out of curiosity asked: "Professor who is the Deity of the Surya sect?"

Professor Shastri said: "Bharat you will come to know about him soon since he is the Deity of Surya sect and you will soon have to pay your respect to him; however for now let's just focus on the test okay."

Professor Shastri gestured to the attendants and the attendants cleared the present equipment and brought some new equipment.

Professor Shastri said: "Now we will do the water test. You can see this bowl which is full of water right now. You have to float the water and freeze it into any sculpture which you can think of with the same technique by controlling the Tvisi on your body."

Bharat did as he was told. He first circulated the Tvisi and then channeled Tvisi on this hand and felt the water in the bowl then he directed the water to float after five minutes of trial the water started floating just above the bowl then Bharat thought of something and gestured with his hand and the water froze into a lotus.

Professor Shastri was pleased again and said: "Bharat you did great, you not only have good affinity with fire but you have control over water also. It has been rarely seen that one person can have more than one attribute now we will have to test with other attributes also."

Next it was turn to show his control over the wind affinity so professor Shastri asked Bharat to stand on the two wooden logs and said: "Bharat you cannot remove your body from the logs. You will now see stones coming at your end. You will just have to divert the stones through the wind, do you understand?"

Bharat said: "Yes sir."

And with that the a few disciples of the Surya sect started throwing small stones towards Bharat and Bharat concentrated fully to control the Tvisi on his body then he felt the air around him and channeled the Tvisi on his hand to control the air around him which he directed towards the stones.

A strong gust of wind blew from Bharat's end which redirected the path of the stones in the reverse direction which were coming towards Bharat.

Professor Shastri said: "Now that you have also passed the wind affinity so we will move on to the next test which is going to be of Earth affinity. You will have to make your body so hard that you can break this boulder which is made up of stone."

Bharat nodded and started circulating his Tvisi on his body first as per the directions given to him by his Guru Professor Shastri and then directed it towards his hands to harden his punch then he felt the earth element in the Boulder which was made up of stone and then he punched the stone with full force with a big sound "Boom". Normally if a normal human being punches the hard boulder like stone with their bare hands with full force either some bone would have broken on his finger or he might have injured his hands a little bit however when Bharat hit the stone Boulder. There was an impact which could be felt and then the rock broke from the middle with the impact of the punch.

Professor Shastri was impressed by Bharat's learning capacity and by the expertise with which he was able to control his Tvisi.

Professor Shastri said: "Good, you are doing excellent. You have shown natural talent for all the four elements : Fire, water, wind and earth which is very rare and now the last element which is the space element which you will try to break on your next test."

Professor Shastri asked the attendants to bring the next item and they removed the remaining things from the table and brought a silver plate which was shining brilliantly.

Professor Shastri said: "Look at this plate you can see how brilliantly this plate is shining but do not get misjudged by its beauty. Actually this silver plate has been tapped into the space affinity due to which anything which is thrown into this plate will be crushed and you will not be able to find any bits and pieces of the thing. Space element is that powerful and also the most difficult to control however if someone is able to control the space affinity then it should be considered that person has great power because with space you can do many mysterious things like creating space out of thin air or breaking space and you also get access to sonic element and little bit of time element as well. Now your job here is to break this space illusion which has been created by an expert."

As per the instructions from Professor Shastri Bharat used the same technique provided by Professor Shastri and regulated his Tvisi through his meridians and channeled it on his palms to feel the space element on the silver plate mentally. However as soon as his mental waves touched the space on the silver plate he could feel that it was all jumbled up and could feel a lot of strain on his mind. If he would have touched the plate there was no doubt that the part which had come into contact with the plate would have gone crushed. Bharat endured the pain on his mind and controlled the Tvisi on his palm and directed it towards the silver plate. Bit by bit he started to clear up the jumbled up space and arranged them in order in doing so Bharat could feel that he was bathed in sweat and could feel a lot of strain on his mind and body as the Tvisi was getting consumed very fast in the process. However he did not give up on this and kept going on since if he left now then again all the arranged space which he did will be jumbled again which may hurt him severely on his mind. So he kept on going and arranging the space bit by bit and in the end he was able to arrange the space completely and now the silver plate did not show up as shiny as previously and the space element illusion was gone.

Professor Shastri tested Bharat with all the five elements and Bharat was able to complete and pass the entire test which surprised Professor Shastri a lot.
