23 Learning To Fight Part Three

"There is really no easy way to tell. It really comes down to knowledge you gained from fighting them or knowledge passed down from others. When fighting monsters, it is best to go in with the thought of finding its weak point. If you find one area does little to no damage, then attack a different spot. Only then will you be able to slowly gain an understanding of your enemy." Michi explained.

"I understand. Tomorrow let's do as you planned. I do realize my way of fighting is not the best. So practicing against one is a good idea. I will learn to use my hammer more to my advantage." Yuki knew it would not be easy, but she also knew that she had to learn to fight if she wanted to survive in this world. And since they were stuck in a dungeon, there was no better place to learn than here. She had this advantage, and now because of this, she was a little happy that she was stuck in this dungeon. It would force her to fight, whereas if she were outside, she would be able to choose to fight or not. The dungeon locked them in, so in order to escape, they would be forced to fight.

"Yuki..." Michi stood up and, without waiting for Yuki to reply, scooped her up, brought her over to the horned rabbit skinned bed, and laid her down.

"Michi?" Yuki was confused about what Michi was up to until she saw Michi staring down at her with pure lust in her eyes. Michi straddled Yuki and leaned down, stealing her lips. Yuki knew what was to come, and her whole body shivered as she closed her eyes and accepted it all. Once again, the dungeon was filled with sounds that should never be heard in a dungeon. After who knows how long, the two girls cuddled together and fell into a deep sleep.

---

*Bam!*

"How's that!?" Yuki yelled out as she smashed her hammer into the face of a rock ant. It twitched a few times before it stopped moving. Its front pinchers were sunk deep into its head.

"Good job, Yuki!" Michi yelled happily.

"I think I am ready for more than one. I found if I use my hammer to pivot my body around, I can gain more mobility." Yuki was pleased with her training so far. Just now, in order to kill this rock ant, she had slammed the head of her hammer into the ground and used it to flip her body up and over the rock ant, landing on top of it. She then spun around on the tips of her toes like a ballerina giving her the momentum needed and positioning to bring her hammer down hard on the rock ant's face. She only used a regular attack, and she was able to kill the rock ant instantly.

It was her first time landing a successful one-shot kill, but it was enough to allow Yuki to understand her own capabilities. And now more than ever did she wish to improve herself and become even stronger. "If you think you are ready, I will let two of them attack at the same time then. Do not rush yourself. It is not like we are in a rush to leave this dungeon. By the time we leave here, you should be ready to fight anything."

"That is what I am striving for. If anything, this dungeon was a perfect place for me to train. Michi, they are spawning again. I will take two. Taunt the rest for me, please." Yuki said with a smile. She leaned over and kissed Michi's cheek before moving to the far side of the room. With how wide the room was, Yuki had no issues staying clear of Michi while fighting. The floor also helped in her training since some of the floor's cobblestone stuck up in various places, not to mention the damaged areas that Yuki left behind from her ground slams.

As the monsters spawned, Michi taunted three, while Yuki gained the aggro of the other two. As they two rushed at Yuki, she yelled out: "Fireball!" This served to separate the two rocks ants allowing Yuki to take on the closest one from her. But on closer inspection, she realized something was different about this rock ant. She tried to check its stats, but nothing looked out of the ordinary.

Rock Ant [Lvl]: 5*

[HP]: 300/300

[MP]:0/0

"Michi, there is something strange about this rock ant. It has a golden glow to it!" Yuki shouted, her eyes never leaving the rock ant.

"It's an anomaly! Everything about it will be the same except its stats. They are much stronger and faster." Michi looked a little worried for Yuki since this was her first time fighting an anomaly. She thought about taunting the other rock ant over, but when she saw Yuki's eyes that were filled with determination, she decided to keep her thoughts to herself. She could only watch carefully and be prepared to spring into action at any time. She had already weakened the rocks ants she was tanking to a thread of their life. They were basically lying in front of her breathing their last breaths. But Michi did not finish them off because if she did, they would respawn and began attacking Yuki. But this also allowed her to spring into action when she needed to.

Yuki thought for a moment and decided it would be too risky to let the other rock ant get close to her. If she wished to fight the rock ant anomaly, then she would need to get rid of the other one first. "Fireball! Fireball!"
