5 Mutated Rats

Ok, let's do it. I can always run away from them with my ten agility. Then I prepared myself to fight again.
As they entered a 1-meter radius of me, I immediately threw my dagger at the leading Rat.
The dagger pierced through its skull and directly killed it. Before the other two could do anything I launched a fireball on of them and immediately retrieved my dagger.

I threw my dagger again. Before it could enter one of the trash cans my dagger pierced through its abdomen. Urgh... (Disgusting)...
It still didn't die since I didn't hear any notifications. What a tenacious lifeform. Let's wait for the fireball's cooldown to end...
After another 30 seconds, I threw the fireball at it.
Then I heard another two notifications about them dying. Both of them died.

They gave 1XP each. That went well. I was satisfied with my performance so far.
But why was that running toward that trash bin? They also came out of it. I need to find out. Maybe I will get a surprise.
I picked up one of the lids on the ground as a shield.
I cautiously approached the trash bin and stopped a meter away from it. After the fireball's cooldown has ended I shot into the trash bin.
"Squeak!" A painful voice of a rat echoed inside the trash bin. It shook a few times before falling to the ground. Then three Rats burning on fire came out of it.

I quickly used Idetify and checked the other two's health points.

Thankfully they weren't able to notice me, they couldn't smell me either since they were burning on fire. I slowly went near the dead one and retrieved my dagger. I threw to the 5 HP rat and it was killed directly before letting out a painful squeak.

The other rat's HP gradually ended, and it died a few moments later. Maybe the fireball directly hit this one firstly, that's why it lost so much HP earlier.

Then I noticed a slightly larger hole in the ground. Did the rats do it?

These Mutated Rats were a larger and more aggressive version of the common rat. Their teeth were also sharper, and their claws are longer and more deadly. Hick! Its fur is matted and discolored, and it emits a foul odor. Even though I have Odor Resistance, I could still smell it. I hate this smell, but... I need to endure so the skill will level up by itself.
And their stats are equal to the normal monsters in the game... That means I have to be more cautious.
Their one skill also makes me more afraid. It is the toxic bite. If I'm not mistaken it was like this.
