Reigniting his lost spirit, Wing decided on what to do first:

"Anyway, all three of you are really talented, but to help you know in which direction you should develop your Hatsu later on, let's do the... Water Divination Test."

"..." x3

Seemingly ignoring Wing's foreshadowing tone, Zoro asked:

"What's that?"

Surprised and dejected that his intentions were completely ignored, Wing said:

"Seriously?... Forget it... Uhhh, basically, the water divination test allows nen users to identify their nen type. This then helps their Hatsu creation process."

Noticing that the group chat members were paying at least a bit of attention, Wing continued:

"There are six nen types:

Enhancement, which is mostly based on strengthening the user's body and personal objects.

Emission, which consists on the user detaching nen from their body.

Manipulation, which makes it significantly easier for the user to control animate or inanimate things.

Transmutation, which consists of changing the quality of one's nen to match something else.

Conjuration, which is primarily based on the creation of objects made of nen.

Finally, Specialisation, which's effects are unique and exclusive to each individual.

Although you can create a Hatsu based on a nen type that's not your own, its efficiency drops significantly. Alternatively, if you want to incorporate several nen types into your ability, then first, start off with your main nen type and after thoroughly mastering it, branch out into the other nen types you have most affinity with, mastering them as well. Only after this, can you incorporate your desired nen types into your Hatsu. This method is the result of nen development spanning countless centuries and incorporates the experiences of innumerable hunters and it's currently the one in use by most Zodiacs and even the chairman himself."

"So, when can we start?!"

Somewhat more used to the group's antics, Wing replied:

"We can start right away, let me just get the cups ready."

A few minutes later, Wing came back from the kitchen carrying a tray with three glass cups and a leaf on top of each one.

"This time, how about we start with you, Lostoro?"

Having been reminded of his new nickname, a giant tick mark appeared on Zoro's forehead. Surprisingly, without anyone's interference, Zoro calmed down and agreed to the offer.

'Now's not the time. This nen thing is definitely going to be useful for my goal of becoming the world's strongest swordsman. Besides, I have a feeling that learning nen will make it easier for me to learn haki as well.'

Having thought it out, Zoro replied with a nod:

"Mhm."

"The water divination test only requires you to infuse your nen into the cup, with the after-effects we can then determine your nen type."

Zoro responded with another curt nod:

"Mhm, ok."

Knowing what to do and already having a faint grasp over nen, Zoro slowly flowed his nen from his passive Ten state, into the cup. Suddenly, the cup began overflowing, soaking the table before cascading onto the floor.

'Seriously, to get such a reaction from a simple water divination test, the amount of nen each of them have is insane for people who've just awakened.'

"Amazing, Lostoro. It seems like your an enhancer. I believe it truly suits you as your a swordsman as well. This way, you can further enhance your body and swords, brining your battle prowess to the next level. Still, if you want to further incorporate other nen types, start with emission and transmutation as you have a high affinity with those as well."

"Sure. Thanks, Wing."

"No problem. How about you go next, Cillian?"

"Sure."

Repeating what Zoro did, a few moments after Cillian started infusing his nen, similarly to Zoro, the water went overboard but, at the same time, it also gained a light blue hue, contrasting Zoro's water divination test.

"Although not too uncommon, it's still pretty rare. Cillian, you have a dual affinity of enhamcenet and emission, leaning more towards the enhancement path. I'd recommend you create your Hatsu based on these two nen types."

"Ok, thanks for the advice, Wing."

'... Seems like I'm truly not protagonist material. I didn't even get the specialist nen type that all fanfic SI characters unlock automatically.'

"You're welcome. Ready, Mereoleona?"

"Yeah, Let's do this."

Copying both Cillian and Zoro, Mereoleona placed both her hand around the glass cup and gently infused her nen into it. Unexpectedly, even after a few seconds had passed, nothing unusual happened. Noticing this, Mereoleona frowned and asked Wing:

"Should I infuse more nen?"

Podering for a moment, Wing proposed:

"How about you drink a few sips before continuing?"

Although she was baffled by Wing's answer, Mereoleona decided to trust him and warily brought the glass to her lips, intending to only drink a bit of it. The moment Mereoleona tasted the water, her eyes widened in surprise before quickly drinking the whole glass in an instant.

"Did you add something to the water, Wing?"

"No, it was just plain, simple water. Since the water's taste changed, from the looks of it, into something extremely tasty, that's an indication of your nen type. It seems you're a transmuter, meaning it's easier for you to change your nen's characteristics. If you're curious as to which route you'd like to pursue after mastering transmutation, your second highest affinities are with Enhancement and Conjuration."

Grateful with the outcome, Mereoleona said with one of her characteristic face-wide smiles plastered on her face:

"Ok, Wing. Thanks for teaching us nen!"

Although Mereoleona only said a few words, they resonated with Wing. As a nen master, Wing is very in tune with his emotions consequently, he can, rather easily, peer into other's intentions, and what he felt from Mereoleona was pure sincerity and gratitude.

Reciprocating Mereoleona's emotions, Wing let out a small chuckle and lightly smiled, answering:

"Any time!"

After that, Zoro said a few words of gratitude as well, showing his genuine appreciation through a determined look and a promise of repaying the favour in the future.

Cillian, on the other hand, took a more formal approach, thanking Wing for his teachings and promising him to meet up every day after their Heaven's Arena fights to train in the four major principles of nen.
