It didn't take long to find out why Sumire was feeling so tense and unedge. It was because Jian fucking Hijiri was in the same building. Sumire's old friend told her after the interview, clearly oblivious to what happened between the two. He wanted nothing more than to stay with her, and comfort her. However, he gets summoned by Lucifer. The first thing he noticed when he entered the room wasn't Lucifer, but Jian Hijiri.

Toh exhaled deeply. "Should I ask, what both of you are doing here?"

Lucifer shrugged. "He said he needed to come here."

'And you just went along? Of course he would.' Toh knew Lucifer wouldn't miss an opportunity to come see Sumire.

Toh turned his gaze to Jian. "Are you doing this on purpose? You know Sumire is here right?"

"And so is our grandfather."

Toh frowned. "What's he doing all the way out in fukuoka-" He trailed off immediately. "He thinks he can attack Sumire here."
