The fat woman chuckled softly. Her laughter was heavy as if she was bearing the weight of her heavy body. The snake's tail moved slowly, screeching to fall.
Tree trunks and twigs creaked, holding the woman's heavy body down, and drops of river water that hit her hair seeped down to the ground.
The woman was very big and fat, twice as big as Thomas's body. She almost covered the flowing brown river with only her lower body, not to mention the tail waving to the ground.
Iris held her breath. This snake woman was even worse than the land Elves who lived in the snake's nest.
"We don't want to cause trouble," Thomas said calmly. "We just wanted to pass by to go to the City of the Dead."
