Inheriting the Blood of Madness 3

Morgan opened his eyes, he felt the water rush into his lungs. He yanked his hands and feet under the water, struggling to rise to the surface.

'I believe Morgan will be an Alpha in the future.'

The woman's soft voice echoed in his mind. His mother believed he would become Alpha, she believed!

Morgan struggled in the still swirling river water, the river water slowly rippled, releasing bubbles. The temperature rose and emitted white smoke that emitted hot air.

Morgan's body slowly turned into a gray wolf, not as big as his first gray wolf, but of normal size. Morgan jumped out of the river. Water splashed everywhere, dripping to the ground, he howled again.

Morgan was amazed by his wolf, he circled happily, finally able to control his wolf form to become normal.

"You did it," said Elder Zac as he leaned against the rubble of the broken trees. "But you still have to control your power."

Morgan looked at the river, which was still bubbling and smoking as if it were boiling.

"The one who did that was me?" asked Morgan. His form suddenly changed into a shirtless human, and his brow furrowed in astonishment.

"I used magic to drag you to the bottom of the river earlier," said Elder Zac as he stood up and slowly walked towards Morgan, who was still staring at the river. "But who would have thought that when you managed to control your wolf, this burning couldn't be controlled?"

"Hot air?"

Elder Zac smiled, the rippling water gradually calmed down and several fish floated in the water.

"Lloyd is a special family, apart from having a bigger wolf form, they also usually have more powers given by the moon goddess. The burning is one of your strengths."

Morgan crossed his arms, there were so many privileges he got, but he didn't feel happy at all, as if the privilege was a curse.

"Is my mother too?"

"Yes." Elder Zac hasn't changed his tone of voice since earlier, still sounding calm and gentle. "Just like you."

"If my mother died of illness, then what happened to my father?"

Elder Zac sighed, he glanced at Morgan, his eyes filled with various raging emotions, anger, sadness, and hatred all rolled into one.

"I never know."

Morgan looked up and gave Elder Zac a confused look. "He disappeared suddenly without leaving anything behind, no smell, no trace as if he was swallowed up by the earth. He lives or dies, no one knows."

Morgan sighed. In his memory of the river, not even his father's face could be seen clearly.

Morgan's eyes fell on the school of fish floating in the water. "Well, at least we have some food tonight. Braised fish sounds good."

Elder Zac laughed, then told Morgan to take the fish and start a fire, and the warm atmosphere began to feel nice against the cold blanket of the night.

Morgan continued to practice controlling his form and the burning, he began to keep a deep longing for his pack, trying to keep the longing for Giselle's figure for years.

Morgan grew into a tall and sturdy figure, his body became fuller and denser. His eyes were sharp, he looked charming, and had unusual handsomeness.

Finally, after he had been struggling on this hill for so long, his strength was controlled. The trees that were destroyed by it slowly grew and greened to decorate this hill.

Today, while he was waiting for Elder Zac to take him back to the pack, the elder was quite satisfied with his self-control, which had grown rapidly over the past few years. He returned to the pack and asked Alpha's permission for Morgan.

Morgan had completely come to terms with everything, he no longer had feelings of anger at Luke for speaking to him. Instead, his feelings for Giselle grew stronger.

Morgan imagined what Giselle would look like now, she might have grown taller and her face might now be more beautiful and mature.

Morgan misses Giselle, if only he could, he wants to disobey Alpha's orders and runs right now to the pack to find his beloved lover.

Morgan could only wait until the sun began to set, he stood and paced back and forth, starting to get nervous that Elder Zac had not returned. The old man never broke his promise, he always arrived on time, but today he was an hour late.

Morgan was starting to have a bad feeling. It was getting darker, his heartbeat was getting faster, and cold sweat was starting to run down his temples.

"Something's happened," Morgan mumbled, as he clenched his fists and stared at the way out of the woods.

Morgan closed his eyes, feeling increasingly restless as the darkness grew. "I'm sorry, Alpha."

Morgan changed to his normal wolf form, he ran down the hill with a million feelings raging in his chest. He howled loudly and forced all his limbs to run quickly back into the Blue Moon pack.

Morgan returned quickly, he could faintly see the fire smoldering from the direction of his pack, deep red and blazing in the night sky. It wasn't a bonfire in celebration at all, it was a fire that devoured the house.

Morgan continued to run like a madman, Elder Zac didn't come back to him. Something must have happened to his pack, he faintly smelled the thick scent of blood.

His heart seemed to stop, the smell of blood was getting stronger. It was as if the ground of their pack was now being flooded with blood everywhere.

Morgan howled, hoping that another wolf would hear him and hear his howl. However, all he got was silence.

The pack gate was in front of his eyes, Morgan stopped running, he saw the body of a person lying in front of him with his stomach spilling out, his blood dripping on the ground.

"What happened?!"

Morgan turned into a human and ran into the Blue Moon pack, he saw the same scene strewn there.

Burnt houses, corpses strewn here and there, Morgan jolted when his foot stepped on someone's hand. He looked down when it was Luke's stretched-out hand.

"Who did this?!"

Morgan trembled, he examined all the corpses that lay, tears came to his eyes when he found Elder Zac who had been with him for several years already lying stiff at his door.

"Ah!" someone shouted, echoed. Morgan straightened his body when he knew the voice was very familiar to his ears. He stood up and ran to the source of the sound.

"Giselle!" Morgan shouted madly, he stepped to the end of the Blue Moon pack and saw a woman struggling in the hands of several men who smelled like thick blood.

"Oh, is anyone still alive?" someone asked, glancing at Morgan, who was coming in breathless.

"Morgan!" Giselle screamed, she struggled with all her might, her hair pulled back fiercely.

"Let go of Giselle!" Morgan shouted as he ran towards the man in a fit of rage.

The man smirked, hinting at some people against Morgan, while he took care of the prettiest woman in the Blue Moon pack.

Giselle screamed, she rebelled to the point of annoyance, but she eventually became too angry and slammed her to the ground.

BUCH!

"Giselle!"

Morgan's screams were the most painful screams that had ever happened in the Blue Moon pack that night.

Since that day, his world had been shattered.
