WHY AM I WEAK!!

The music stopped and the noise in the whole restaurant went down. There was already a crowd of people surrounding Keiser, and the two sibling.

People pushed each other as they tried to throw a glance at the commotion. " what are you fools doing? As if you have never seen an injured person. Get out of the restaurant, they need space." said Mama as she chased away the crowd and closed the door to the restaurant.

The old man that was playing the music came forward and looked at the wound and said," I have never seen something like this. how is she alive. What is that blue flame? If doctors of the world were to witness this, they would surely risk there life for such a treasure. One that could heal such grave wounds at a visible rate."

The old man looked at Keiser, expecting an answer, however, Keiser shrugged his shoulder and said," don't look at me. I have no idea what's going on as well. I found them right outside in the dark corner. They were being assaulted by a group of kids."

Roho jumped in and said," it does not matter what that flame is? can you heal her old man? you sounded like a doctor?"

The old man looked at the wound again and said," normally a person with such a wound is supposed to die within seconds. However, from the looks of it, this is the work of an amateur. whoever did this intended to stab her heart, however, the cut wasn't deep enough to reach the heart. she must have felt unnatural amount of pain."

The old man brought out two potions from his pocket. He gently lifted her head, and had her drink the potion, one after the other. He then said," this is a lower grade potion that will speed up the treatment. There is nothing else I can do for her. The blue flame is already healing her. It's only a matter of time before she wakes up."

" I have seen them both in poor town before. They are one of Vita's kids at the orphanage. I have always wanted to do something about the poor children there, however Vita is in cahoots with the Usman clan. we couldn't do anything to him." said Iman as she bit one of her fingers clearly pissed at herself for letting this happen.

The bartender saw her reaction and knew she was blaming herself again. He said," my lady, it's not you fault. we have sent numerous members of our gang to deal with Vita, however they were all killed with pieces of their body being sent to us in a package or came back without any scent of Vita. we do not know what business he does with the Usman clan, however he is one of the most brutal person that live in this city."

Keiser looked at the girl and said," I will definetly make sure he pays for what he has done. He will feel twice the pain he inflicted on you. I promise you blue girl."

'Old lady, do you have any spare or hidden room we can take them to?' said Roho as he picked up the dwarf boy.

Mama scoffed and said," of course we do,Shanel open the doors to the underground room. Take them both there and let them recuperate. Vista's eyes won't reach here."

Keiser picked up the wounded girl and followed Shanel. They entered the kitchen which was unsightly.

Shanel looked around and said," sorry, it's kinda messed up in here. but the doors are right underneath here."

She removed a knife that was stuck to one of the walls in the kitchen. After a series of noises and creaks, a door opened up from the floor revealing the stairs which led to the underground.

Shanel got a lamp and lead both of them down the stairs. she said," this is where we store our ingredients, so we don't really clean here as much and there is no light down here." Shanel was a shy girl so she was looking down throughout the trip.

Keiser looked at her and said," you really are a shy person. how did you even end up working here?"

"well, I have always been with Mama since i was young. I don't have any other family members except her." said Shanel as she shaked her head and wiped her cheeks.

" I see, I guess you are similar to me then," said keiser as he smiled.

The group reached underground. There was no more ingridents there as it was all already used up. It was dark, full of dirt and spiderwebs.

There was a bed at the end of the underground room where both sibling were placed.

Shanel looked at the girl, stroked her hair and with her voice breaking down because of the tears that were falling from her cheeks and onto minay's face, she said," I really hope you get well. you're my first and only friend. you always used to come here for food and Mama used to chase you away and call me saying go and give her some food. we had a lot of fun in the beach. you told me a lot about you dream and you little brother, and how one day both of you will explore the world and make the world largest orphanage. I am really weak, even though my best friend is in this state. I can not even take revenge for her. why am I so weak?"

Shanel felt a warm hand on her shoulder and when she looked up she saw keiser with a serious look on his face.

He said," There is no sin in being weak. you responsibilities, I will lend you my back to carry them for you untill you are strong enough to carry them yourself."

Shanel looked at Keiser, her eyes still watery.

she wiped her tears and said," what do you know about being weak. you are strong. no one says anything to you. no one causes harm to you. What do you know about us. You just came here yesterday and beat up some of the usman clansmen. but they are still here. They will come back tomorrow and continue where they left off. Why am I not as strong as you? Why didn't the world give me any power, as she hit keiser on the chest. Her breath became heavy, her eyes still weeping, she held keiser's black coat from both sides and said," please, save this town?"

Keiser hugged her and said," I know you pain and I have felt it before. True, you might not be strong now, but there is something only you can do and none of us can do. look for that thing and hold onto it, and I promise you I will protect this town. I will defeat the so called Usman clan. so don't worry and stay with you friend. Nurse her to good health."

Roho looked at Keiser and thought to himself, he has a charm that not even the nobles of the seven kingdoms have. He already has three of the five characters of a brilliant knight. I wonder what I will go through if I follow him. It is definitely going to be a thrilling experience.

A loud bang echoed through the whole underground, shoking Keiser, Roho and Shanel." What was that? Is someone attacking us?" said Roho as he run towards the stairs climbing up.

Keiser looked at Shanel and told her," stay here with them and protect them. don't come out under any circumstances." He run as he went straight after Roho.

Shanel wiped her tears as she returned next to Minay, however before she sat down. She felt dizzy and everything around her became dark.

she heard a voice saying," you are weak Shanel, let's swap. let me take care of the one who did this to you friend. ' Shut up and get out of my head. I will never listen to you again.' The voice laughed and said," well it's only a matter of time before we swap. you can not keep on denying me." Everything went back to normal as Shanel opened her eyes, shaking her head and focusing on her friend.
