1 Strange World

Earth time, 7 A.M

(POV)

I woke up and opened my eyes since the sun was already greeting my arrival on the new day. After that, I was thinking about what to do next. Yes, I was always like that every morning. Waking up every day knowing I would have nothing to do except the same daily routine, but today, I had an impulse to do something different.

I was Shin shiro, a thirty years old bachelor. I was also super rich to the extent that I wouldn't have any trouble for living a peaceful and extremely luxurious life until the end of my life.

My only everyday work was to read some exciting and interesting books. I also read some technological books from time to time but fictions were much more to my liking.

Fictions were the best emotional stimuli for me. I always yearned for new and fantastic experiences which would evoke my emotions.

" What should I do ? As I have decided to change my life style a little bit today, I will definitely try to have fun as much as I can. " I yawned and said while looking at the beach scenery outside the window.

My house was on the shore of beach Kasila. So I could always see the beautiful scenery whenever I was in daze. It was good too.

I was introverted person and had very few friends. The reason why I became introverted person was not because I wanted to or I didn't have any ability in communication with other people.

That was because I didn't have any motivation or stimulation to find new friends. Finding new friends was boring and, whenever I got new friends, I would go with them to different places to have fun and have a feast with them. That was the same routine for me every time I got new friends. So, I was not interested in meeting and befriending new people anymore.

The most important thing was that I couldn't feel any sense of attachment to them. Generally speaking, I lacked a lot of emotions what humans should have in their life.

A lack of emotion led me into this state somehow and I always searched for a stimulation and method how to take back my lost emotions. I spent doing that in my whole life and did many things I thought it should effectively stimulate my emotions, with greatest effort I could put into. Finally, I became the one of the core pillars and pioneers in the early age of genetic revolution but I couldn't still find the meaning and goal of my life until then. So, I quit being the greatest genetic scientist ever and stayed peacefully in this villa while reading fantasy books all days. I even felt that my soul wasn't complete yet.

But if someone asked me whether I was already bored of living or not, I would tell him " Absolutely not ! Just trying to find my emotions is enough for me to live and keep my morales up. Even reading the books can give me a decent amount of desire to go forwards the future. At least, I still have an ambition that is to find my emotions and my will is not that weak too ! "

" My desire to find emotions will never die as long as I am alive. " he whispered to himself and decided to stop thoughts here.

After that, I got up from the bed and went to kitchen to cook the luxurious breakfast. My cooking was also superb. The only person who was better than me, was my mother. I was very sure about that fact. It was not because she was my mother. My mom's skill was definitely above the skills of Five star chefs.

However, it doesn't matter how good my cooking was. I didn't find any happiness or satisfaction from eating it. That's why I had my meal quickly without any expression and feeling.

After having a breakfast, I went to my friend because I couldn't think of any way to spend my time apart from that.

My best friend, ishoda, lived in the downtown area. It took me a while to reach his home. Ishoda was also one of retired genetic scientists of the same age as me. When I arrived at his home, I opened his door and entered his house. We are very familiar with each other and we are best friends too. That's why I didn't need to ring the doorbell and notify him before I entered. Moreover I also had the keys of his house.

" OMG, shin, It is you ! I was thinking just now who entered my house without notifying me. Come, come, sit on this sofa. " ishoda exclaimed loudly and happily as soon as he saw me entered the living room while he was watching the news from his personal hologram.

Today's weather is going to be bad, you know ? What's the matter ? " Ishoda teased me and asked. He also seemed to be quite surprised when he saw me but when I thought about my personality, that's quiet normal for him to be surprised because we didn't often meet each other even if we were best friends.

" No, no, I don't want to stay in your home. Let's go somewhere beautiful to have a talk and drink something." I said.

After that, Ishoda and I went to a nearby restaurant.

" So shin, what do you want to talk about ? You can tell me everything you want. " Ishoda asked my problems.

"Hmm, I don't have anything important to tell you right now. It is only because I just had a whim to vist you today. " I told him the truth.

" Ah ~ As expected of you, I shouldn't ask you, even knowing that only this kind of answer would come out again. Alright, let's order something to drink first. If the drinks arrive, just listen to what I'm gonna tell you, okay ? " he gave me a suggestion but it was very okay for me too !

" Alright, that's good for me. " I nodded at him.

After the one-sided and boring conversation section between best friends, I went to my elder sister.

Once again, after listening to my sister's constant chattering to me until the afternoon, I returned my home to read the book I planned to read today .....!

" Huh, How great it would be if my parents didn't leave me when I was in the middle school ? If so, I wouldn't have to stay with grandpa since then. Now, even my grandpa is already dead.

I think I won't regret anything even if I'll die tomorrow, if I can see my parents for the last time.

Ah, Forget it ! Past is just a past...." he sighed.

He still had emotions for his parents in his robot-like heart.

Now, I was reading a book with the name, " what will you do if there aren't any conflicts in the whole world ? " until the midnight before going to bed to sleep.

In this night, he had a strange dream. He was in void and lying as like infinite time was passing by. He was conscious and could see the void in front of him, but he couldn't think of anything. It was really strange.

Suddenly, he felt as if the void he was in suddenly change its place. He didn't know and think of any reason but he was very sure about that he felt. In fact, void was just nothingness. So, how could it change its place. Even if he couldn't think of anything. Memories were already in his brain. That would be his question after he get back his thinking ability.

Then, he caught a glimpse of the scene like two abysses merged into one. It was really mysterious scene that couldn't describe with his current words. He would not be able to forget this scene for the rest of his life, but he lost his consciousness suddenly.

After he opened his eyes again, sunlight was already shining on his face and he also felt very strange in his head.

Out of habit, he looked at his Genetic watch to see what time it has already been. However, that damn watch was nowhere to be seen.

He looked at his surroundings to search for his watch, but the first thing he noticed was his hands and his room.

" Why are my hands a little red and look small ? "

He thought that he was still dreaming. That's why he closed his eyes and once again opened them.

Nothing else else changed yet.

He was in a kind of rustic room which he could find in some villages. The ceiling was made of wood and walls were also made of wood. Everything is this room was made of wood.

" Where am I ? "

" Was I kidnapped while I was sleeping ? That was also impossible, I think. Who have the ability to kidnap me in the entire world ? "

He concentrated on his mind to know what was going on. In his mind, there were many unfamiliar, yet strangely familiar memories which were not his own. Then, he realized he had reincarnated into the world called Land of Sages. Former body owner's name was similar to his name strangely. His death was also like his own death, that is without knowing why he died.

" Yesterday, I was just kidding ? It's because of my foul mouth. Now All is gone after trying hard till my limit, All is GONE ! " he felt some emotions as soon as he realized but even these emotions couldn't last long before disappearing as if they didn't appear at all.

" However, let's try again in this world too. Past is just a Past ! " he said.

" Moreover, the world I am in right now is the very strange place too. I think my life will be more interesting here. I also like this world. Former body owner, I hope you have a good afterlife. I will take care of your family instead of you. Please, Rest in Peace ! Little kid who is very similar to me " he signed and didn't think about it anymore.

" But, there is still difference between us. Little boy, you are still very weak compared to your age "
