"Yes! Finally its time for the Spirit Soul Awakening Ceremony!"

"I can't imagine what I will awaken."

"Maybe a weapon or beast."

A young boy about the age of 12 with an extremely cute and adorable appearance, started shouted as soon as his woke up.

"Quite down Zaiden! If you don't behave than you won't be attending the ceremony."

An angry female voice could be heard from out of the room. Hearing it, Zaiden, the young boy immediately shut his mouth.

The angry voice belonged to his sister, Angelica.

She wasn't his blood related sister but in fact his step-sister. Zaiden was adopted by Angelica's parents.

But they soon passed away. Ever since, both of them have been staying together.

The house was provided by the academy where Angelica was enrolled. It was also one of the best academies in Zia kingdom.

The reason why she could enter such an academy and receive special treatment was that Angelica has awakened a tier seven spirit soul.

Spirit souls were like special abilities but in the form of souls. Thus bounded to the owner forever.

It couldn't be learnt nor shared. Gaining one completely depended on luck.

Mostly, children at the age of twelve would awaken their spirit soul. This process was undertaken by the kingdom through Spirit Soul Awakening Ceremony which was held every year.

Also their were some cases where children awaken their souls later than expected but the time gape wouldn't be too big. At most a few years.

As for the tiers, they ranged from zero to nine with zero being the lowest and nine being the highest.

And Angelica has awakened a tier seven spirit soul. One could imagine how importance the academy would have placed on her.

There was a chance for her to even evolve it further.

As humans gained more power their was a chance for their spirit soul to evolve further increasing in tiers.

Not just that, there was even a chance to awaken more spirit souls.

The power level for humans were divided into nine tiers. They were as follows.

Iron

Bronze

Silver

Gold

Dark-gold

Platinum

Diamond

Challenger

Master

One has a chance to awaken a spirit soul after every breakthrough in tiers. Once someone awakens a spirit soul for the first time, they will immediately enter Iron tier.

Angelica being two years older than Zaiden has already reached the bronze tier and wasn't far from silver tier.

She has even awakened her second soul which was at tier seven as well.

Right now she has two tier seven spirit souls. One was a treasure and another an element.

For this reason, Zaiden admired his older sister but their relationship wasn't good. Although Zaiden loved his older sister but that wasn't the case for Angelica.

Ever since Zaiden was adopted by Angelica's parents, they didn't pay much attention to her. They loved him more than her.

Angelica being small at that time couldn't accept it and thus she hated Zaiden for coming in her life.

It was only because of the promise Angelica gave to her mother was she taking care of Zaiden.

Coming back to Zaiden, he got of from the bed and took a bath and got himself cleaned. He wore a white t-shirt and black shorts and shoes.

Before long he went to the kitchen where Angelica was waiting for him. As he entered the kitchen, he saw a beautiful girl with a cute face sitting on a chair.

She was Angelica.

Zaiden went and sent next to her. There was not much talk during the breakfast. One could clearly see that there was something off about their relationship.

Zaiden didn't knew how Angelica felt about him. He only thought that she likes to be quite.

After the quite breakfast, Angelica took Zaiden to the location of the Spirit Soul Awakening Ceremony in a car.

Although they lived in a city under a kingdom, technology still advanced by leaps and bounds.

Internet was already in existence for more than a few hundred years.

The city they lived in was named River Moon City. This city was already as big as few smaller states on earth.

This city was under the control of Zia kingdom. There were many more such kingdoms on this planet.

The planet where Zaiden lived was called Caprica.

The journey from their home to the centre of the city where the ceremony will take place only took about twenty minutes.

After getting out of the car, Zaiden entered an open area with a stage in the middle and stands surroundings it.

The ceremony will just begin in a short moment.
