1 Chapter 1

Ginny's POV

When Harry disappeared I couldn't cope with anything anymore, the only person I truly loved, gone, I'll never see him again. The day after the battle of Hogwarts I found out something that would change my life forever, and Harry's if he was still here, I found out I was pregnant with Harry's child. My life just fell like a rock into a deep ravine and shattered at the last touch, but being pregnant with Harry's child made me feel connected to Harry, and that is the feeling I'm rather fond of.

9 months Later:

My daughter's name is Esme Evangeline Victoria Potter and she couldn't look more like her father, except her hair which is ginger . She is extremely beautiful and means everything to me. Today Minerva Mcgonagall asked me to come and do an inspirational talk about Quidditch and I agreed to also bring Esme. When I arrive at Hogwarts I am greeted by many stares, and a smile spreads across Madam Hooch's face as she looks at Esme. Esme is extremely shy and doesn't like to be in view of lots of people.

I realised that tears started to stream down my cheeks as I see that Esme is stuffing her head into my shoulder,trying to get out of eyesight.I give Esme to Madam Hooch and I start to talk about anything related to quidditch,teams,techniques and idols.When I finish I feel like stretching my legs and go and play quidditch.As I zoom round the pitch I feel something I haven't felt in a long time,freedom from anything and everybody.I love the way the wind rushes through my hair and feeling adrenaline sprinting through my veins.When I dive a feel amazing feeling run through me,I imagine Harry at m side racing to see who could get the snitch first.He always used to let me win even when he was having a bad day.

Ever since I had Esme I've always felt restrained in every way and when I'm playing quidditch I just feel free and that is why I love it so much but I come back to reality when I hear Esme's giggle.I realise she is giggling at Sir Headless Nick and I smile at the sight. She looks at me with the biggest smile a newborn could pull off.
