Chapter 9

Izor came to report that the northern region was becoming prosperous and the land was really fertile, they were managing to rescue some people who were prisoners and they were already living in the region. He was really grateful and when he learned that Prince Issac was free from the magic of submission, he was really happy, Izor knelt down and in tears thanked the princess for her help.

Issac requested to speak to Izor and said:

-  I know it will be difficult, but I would like you to return to Lynx's castle and find something for me. The chest of magic stones is hidden in this location. - he said, handing a map to Izor.

-  I will do my best, Your Highness. - said Izor.

-  I need to gather strength to make up for all the help that Lillian has been providing me, I can't just be a dead weight who can't help her.

King Orion was going to throw a party to celebrate the Bishop's 30 years of priesthood. And then there would be a ball with members of the nobility.

King Orion was accompanied by Lillian who was wearing a very different dress with a more angelic look. And then the Bishop came accompanied by an apprentice priest. The Bishop commented that this boy could see the powers that people possessed. Killan was struck by Lillian's beauty.

The bishop ordered Killan to observe, but Lillian was afraid and thought:

-  "Will he find out? But maybe I can figure out if I went back in time or if it was all just a dream."

Killan touched the princess's hand. And he felt a different flow of energy and said:

-  I can say that you are a very enlightened person. She was blessed with wonderful gifts. I can't specify all of its powers.

-  How wonderful! I knew my daughter was someone special. That's why she's my successor. - said the proud king.

He continued to hold Lillian's hand and stroked her hand without the others noticing. Lillian noted that he saw more than he had said, but did not understand apprentice Killan's attitude. She withdrew her hand, as she was surprised by his attitude. ...

After the official ceremony, the dance would begin. The members were being announced and then Lillian entered with Issac and everyone was commenting on how the two of them made a beautiful couple. Lillian was surrounded by several young noblewomen who were trying to gain her favor, when she saw someone who looked like Killan. She asked for a moment of tranquility and then followed him. He was dressed completely differently like someone from the nobility.

-  What are you doing here? Lillian asked.

-  I am the 4th son of Duke Sirius. That's why I came to the dance. I am not yet of the priesthood. However... I came because I wanted to find her.

Killan approached Lillian and whispered in her ear.

-  I know your secret!

-  Which secret? - Lillian said, approaching him so that the others couldn't hear.
