5- Truth Coming Forth

The cabin Rony and Loise were hiding was quiet and secluded. Its believed to be Rony's family inheritance but it was abandoned. It was located three miles towards the dirt on the East side of the main intersection road that led to Caspalina. Loise slept a little longer this time, and Rony was already awake and went to a lake that was a few yards away from the cabin and brought some fish. The death visions, the distrust everyone on the planet had for a soul-reader, the inability to eat... they were nothing compared to helping a woman find her soul again. Loise woke up after Rony got back from the lake and she sat on a chair. She went through these motions several times, mimicking every movement, then she stood very still for a moment with a troubled look on her face, which suddenly cleared, and she said, "Good Morning Rony," and covered her face in a very large, artificial smile.

It has already been more than a week in the hideout. The law enforcements of Caspalina finally decided to release the information of Loise to the whole nation. The disappearance of Loise Thomason had became a national headline news. For the past 3 years since her kidnapping by Officer Martin, she had no trace, and was nowhere to be found. No phone calls from family, no access to the internet and no communication with the outside world. The postal service of Caspalina conspired to work with the corrupted police officers and all her letters sent from her family were getting delivered straight to Officer Martin. Now that she finally escaped, the law enforcement of Caspalina were busy framing Rony up for her kidnapping and throwing Leo in jail for scheming in her disappearance. It was far from the truth, but story is written by the winner.

"I'm going back to Caspalina tomorrow, for better or worse the truth should come forth! If sacrificing my life is all that's going to take to get you out of this predicament, I'm willing to die for you, for the truth" he grabbed Loise's hands. At that moment of emotional tenderness Rony's face, affected Loise so much that when he had kissed her on her cheeks he got up quickly, took out his handkerchief, and went to the window. Loise walked towards him and he turned around to look at her and he started playing with her hair. She clutched his wrists, the logical side of her brain preparing to remove his hands from her hair, the emotional side wishing he would repeat the kiss. The romantic element increased, he leaned down; kissing the soft part of her neck that pulsed with excitement. For a few minutes they held on to each other, kissing as if they hadn't seen each other in a week. Their bond grew stronger during the time of their escape and scavenging. The fact of the matter was, Caspalina only had one main intersection road, and the patrols were on every one mile. Some people used to call Caspalina 'Island City' as it was surrounded with bushes and forest compatible to the amazon rainforest.

"Since my last relationship back home, I have avoided relationships or falling back in love because I was afraid of giving my heart again only to drive another love away. I am faithful until I am repeatedly betrayed and injured... then I leave. I love until the other proves that they cannot comprehend true love. Real faith and love requires the heart of a true warrior, a true fighter, a kind of toughness that is devoted to kindness. New love is precious. You've proved me that. From the day you saw me for the first time until today. You knew something was buried inside me and regardless you chose to stay and fight my battles. The morning I got beat up by one of the occupants who'd worked closely with the kidnappers, you were the one to hear my scream while the whole Caspalina chose to act like nothing happened. I was ready to end my life that same morning, cut my wrist off and end this crap. You risked everything for me. As a man, you absorbed the shock and allowed the occupants to break you down in front me, and yet you fought back and secured me. You found me a place to stay, to recover and heal. You put your friend's life on the line just because you believed in me. You believed in the truth. You proofed me wrong about my general statement about the Caspalina inhabitants. Rony, I love you! If there was anything I can do to pay you back is, holding you tight in my heart. I love you enough that I don't want to lose you. I have lost so many people and I can't allow that to happen to you ever again. If you're going back to Caspalina tomorrow, I'm coming with you! We are in together and we bounce together!" Rony was touched, and more than once tears rose to his eyes and to those of Loise and their voices trembled.

"I love you, Loise. Until the truth is finally revealed you are staying at this cabin." he demanded. He grabbed her hips, kissing her hand and leaving her breathless. All she could think about was seeing, touching, kissing Rony and experiencing the new energy that ran between them. It was a very long night, a night of whispering secrets to each other and sharing life stories and holding and thinking aloud.

The next morning, Rony got up earlier than his usual hours and starred at Loise. He approached her with a sad smile on his face, but she was still sleeping. Behind that icy stare was a mountain of pain, yet extracting it would bring pain or joy. Either it would be born and her soul reborn, or she would lose her love and mourn for a few and everything would be forever over. Yet, come what may, she was worth a real attempt.

"l be back soon, I promise!" as he said it, he wondered whether it was true, whether he could really promise that. The law enforcements have already spread the news and Rony was the high profile across the nation. People believe what they see on the news, but until the truth is revealed one day, Rony decided to face and fight for the victim's right including himself. He left a note next to Loise that read 'Going back to Caspalina, stay hidden at all time'.

Rony finally came out of the hideout and headed to Caspalina. He shared with all his heart in the prayer for the spirit of righteousness, for the strengthening of the heart by faith and hope. He made his mind up and he finally reached Caspalina after about two hours. The town looked abandoned when he reached there. Little did he know, everyone in the town turned against him. Deep down they knew he didn't kidnap Loise, but the inhabitants felt betrayal that he helped an 'outsider' escape Caspalina. When he finally reached to his shop, there were threats sprayed on the walls. He stood outside his garage shop and looked around. I guess he started thinking he might still be incarcerated before the national law enforcement get involved and got scared. He stood a little longer, and every second troubled him. He didn't know where to go exactly, maybe he was driven with ambition to save Loise. He started looking around and there was nobody. Minutes after seconds, his suspense started increasing immensely. Suddenly a knackered old car went fuming down the street, trumping so bad it stank up the neighborhood and it pulled few feet away from Rony. Before he could turn around and see the car, there was a loud gun shot stemmed from a 12-guage shotgun. BANG! Darkness fell over Rony and before he could get up to run away, BANG! Another shot fired and he died instantly. Two unidentified men jumped out of the car and rushed towards Rony and dragged him to the trunk of the old squeaky vehicle and they drove off.

Homicide crimes can't be solved if the people didn't work with the law enforcement hand on hand. The inhabitants of Caspalina kept themselves away from giving comments regarding his death. I think the rest of the population is so brainwashed they don't know what to think. They lost their compassion and were filled up with hate and resentment with what they believed to be the outsiders or anyone who helps them. They had no integrity anymore. Often times, I used to think that the inhabitants used to make profit out of the sex-tracking business. The local news of Caspalina already started broadcasting the death of Rony and the major of the city started to persuade the state law enforcements to not get involved and they were on the look out of the murderer of Rony.

But this time no matter how hard they tried to twist the fact, Rony's death triggered the national law enforcements suspicion and it brought to their attention that there was some oddly way of eliminating people in the town. The major and the law enforcements of Caspalina tried their absolute best to change the minds of the national law enforcements from getting involved, but two days later, they were already in Caspalina. The economic development of Caspalina was retarded by the corruption of the law enforcements and the authorities. After a time they lent a ready ear to detailed allegations of corruption brought against the law enforcements and the people who have worked hand on hand.

Loise Thomason was apprehended by the state law enforcements in the cabin after five days of Rony's death. She'd been on the verge of dying, discussing with herself how her impending death forced her to decide whether she wanted to live or mourn Rony's death. No other town in the world holds as many secrets as the inside walls of Caspalina's prison does. After a testimony was made by Loise Thomason about her life in Caspalina, it brought the world's attention and lawyers and news reporters from all around the world got involved in the case. During the time of their employment as police officers, Martin, Trevor and Lance made over twelve million dollars with their involvement with organ harvest and sex trafficking. The corrupted officers were indicted with sex trafficking, organ harvest, and conspiring in human trade and were given life without a possible parole. Several other Caspalina inhabitants were dragged later and were given fifteen to forty years in a maximum security state penitentiary.

Loise was among the thirteen other females that survived Caspalina and she united with her family after exactly thirteen years and I was among the six men that survived from Caspalina, and yet her sister's whereabout remained unsolved.
