Prologue

In a kingdom far from the shores of the average man, lay a continent of half human beasts. These humanoid creatures knew not of the rest of the world, similarly the rest of the world knew not of them. The currents of the sea and the atmosphere above the land guaranteed that these two worlds should remain separate from each other for all eternity.

On this nameless continent far from the rest of the world lay several kingdoms, and on the 100th anniversary of The Kingdom of Bunty, a kingdom of half bunny humans which rests on the most north eastern bay of the continent, a small human woman washes ashore, her belly swollen with child and looking half drowned.

Luckily for this strange woman, the Bunties were a friendly, peaceful tribe. The men that were working near the beach spotted her and took her into town without any question, unsure if the strange, unfamiliar creature was alive or dead.

Once in town the Witch Doctors did all they could to save her, unfortunately they found they were unable to save her. It was too late. Once they concluded that she would inevitably die, they choose to do the next best thing. Save the lives of her young inside her belly.

They cut her stomach open without much thought for her and were surprised to find only one child inside her womb. A single baby girl. She was quite strange to them, looking similar to the mother.

Her oblong rounded ears stuck to the sides of her head, a shape like they've never seen before. Her face similar to the Ape tribesmen, yet somehow different. What was most notable was the lack of any significant characteristics such as a tail, fur, wings, feathers, scales, gills, or claws. She was just plain and bare.

They weren't sure what she was or from where these creatures came. All they knew is that they'd never seen or heard of any creature like this before and that this child was all alone in this world with no mother.

What a shame. What should they do with this strange being? They had not an inkling of what to do, so they took the child to the royal palace. Once there everything appeared as fate. The queen had just miscarried her 4th litter earlier that week, and with only one possible air to the throne, along with a heartbroken woman longing to mother a child, everything became quite clear. The royal family would take in this baby girl as their own, naming her Princess Emilia, or Emi for short, and raise her as a princess, younger sister to the only prince, Prince Harry.
