What if one day... you wake up, and you've found out that the most important person in you life... is now gone? Yes, I know... It hurts and you'd rather die than live without him... But, what if there's a way? A way to change your destiny? Are you ready to face the consequences and gamble your life to save the person you love? This is a story that begins about Jin (21), who receives the news about the sudden death of the most important person in his life, Chris (21). Chris died on March 21, 2021. And since that day, Jin has wanted nothing more than to go back in time so that he can save Chris from his unexpected demise. Using a time machine, a company project that Jin is working on, this will be his way to save Chris. It took 6 years before the the company was able to creat the time machine. Now, everything is set and he is ready to return again on March 21, 2021 to rescue Chris, and afterwards, get back to his current life with Chris being alive. Unexpectedly, its time setting will change. Instead of Jin getting there at the right time and place, his time machine will take him to March 21, 2020, a year before the incident happened. Since he was sent to a wrong timeline, he will try to fix the time set in the time machine and will set it on March 21, 2021. But there is a big problem and this is what Jin is not aware of. He can’t leave because the time machine isn’t there yet at this time. Jin fully imagined that he could take the time machine with him wherever he wanted to go. But, for this case, he can only return once the time machine is rebuilt. Jin will just decide to stay and wait, until he can save Chris from his death. Also, since he is now way older than Chris by this time, and his appearance had also changed, he could not let Chris recognized him or by anyone else. Coincidentally, this will have a huge impact on the present. Also, and he may never be able to go back to his real time. And since he will stay in the year 2020, it is inevitable that he will meet his younger self in the year 2020. He will admit to the young Jin that he is him, but from the future and will ask for his help, but he also cannot say everything that will happen to protect himself. The two will pretend to be siblings, and he will hide as Jon, the older brother of the young Jin. Jin's only purpose is to wait again for the day he can save Chris. But, in the one year he will be staying, he will discover many things about Chris’ death that he did not expect.

In the field the story revolves around Jackline Acker and Drake Furrow. It shows how the protagonists imposed on themselves a 10 years separation. We browse with them the up and down of their relationship since they met at seventeen, and how they have kept an unhealthy ridiculous contact throughout the years. We also get a good understanding on the origins of the characters, and what shaped them. Especially Jack, we get exposed to her past and the hardship she endured under her biological father influences who was a mob boss in UK. We see how both protagonists met when they got involved in the turf war that was waged between their fathers. Thought the focal point in the book is the love story between the leads, there is a considerable emphasis on themes such as women of power, independent women, child abuse, traumatic experiences, sickness, psychological and mental healing, family ties, sisterhood, brotherhood, mob life in UK, and modern time Romeo and Juliet. Because the book is told from the lead’s perspective, we will have the chance to read about both their personal thoughts, and as the story progresses it will have a series of flash backs either from Jack or Drake’s POV. The book will also have numerous settings, varying from outdoor and indoor ones. For the outdoor we will see a great many placements and locations either in Birmingham, UK or New York, USA. For the indoor, the locations will vary from The Field Industries Tower to penthouses, hospitals… Also, the main style of the book is contemporary fashion, with heavy focalization on glamour and understated elegance. And because of the current pandemic situation, there will also be an emphasis on hygiene. Especially from Jack’s POV. Then in the last chapters, the story climaxes as we understand at last the real reason behind the self-imposed separation. We also know what happened to the protagonist’s fathers, and how the turf war ended. But if the leads get back together or not, mystery.

I never get tired of painting this little town from this hill of tangerines. Everyone's friendly and warm but I couldn't ignore this feeling of deserted. Abandoned. A year ago… To my assumption, it had been there for months—the thick bandages wrapping half the small of my body. I'm still alive, and from the day I woke up, I felt everything's not the same. A creak reverberated the seasoned room as I tried to get up. Grunting and biting my lower lip the pain accentuated that I forgot to exhale the air I breathed in. I laid down again though slowly. I counted the cobwebs in the low cracked ceiling. My eyes roamed, the last ray of the setting sun softened my mood; some red-orange reflections dazzled my eyes. As I turn on my left, a letter on the wooden table opened as lazy winds entered the room I'm in. One stare at it, I knew it was written by a man, I didn't know, I just thought it would be a girl's if meticulously folded with decorations I say as I felt like I loved writing letters. It's no good, I know, that to read it because it's a letter for someone, but something compelling about it forced me to look at what's written inside. Luckily, it wasn't that far so I made my way to reach it. Should I read it? I did. As I held it close, its faint musk and spice passed into my nose and was certain that it came from a man. Surprisingly, he wrote it in a detailed way, and then I didn't know why how the letter made me feel I'm a little home and questioned myself: to whom this letter? It seemed purposefully written for me but am I home? There was like a void in me that somehow should be filled. I discovered something's missing, something or should I say someone has gone left me and it made me emotional whenever I tried closing my eyes for so long because when I do, there would be split seconds of agonizing. Yet, I struggled to remember any remnant of my past. Then as days, months, and years passed; therefore, I believed that I'm not home. What's home? Honestly different from the house I'm staying in right now although the people I met and made camaraderie were making me feel at home, I'm still looking for that home. Something warmer, and I want to feel it again. It all just began that dreary afternoon when I read his letter, and how mysterious for I could hear his voice. How manly was the baritone living in my memory?   "Dearest love of my life;           Thou hath my heart, I adore you clandestinely. I relish memorizing every detail of your felicitous face.
