'Kitanai, what the fuck is going on?' Mason thought to himself as he stared at the Empress. She smiled at him, her emerald eyes shining brightly in the dim light.

[I'm not sure how to answer that question,] Kitanai-kun replied with a chuckle. [Let's just say your story has become more interesting.]

Mason took a step back and shook his head. "You must be mistaken, Your Highness."

"Oh? And why do you think that?" she asked, her voice still tinged with a curious undertone. She looked up at him, her eyes glowing softly in the dim light.

Mason swallowed hard. His mouth felt dry as sandpaper as he struggled to find the right words. "That isn't why I'm here…"

He stared into those beautiful eyes of hers, struggling to make sense of the situation.

"Are you sure?" she asked, stepping closer again. The scent of jasmine wafted past him, filling his senses with a sweet aroma. A faint smile played on her lips as she moved closer, her breasts brushing against his arm.

Kitanai-kun's sarcastic tone cut through the silence like a knife. Mason winced at the reminder of where they were in the realm.

Mason shook his head. He was already embarrassed enough without hearing Kitanai-kun's taunting words.

"No!" he said quickly, taking another step away from the Empress. It was all starting to make a lot of sense as to why she had avoided having any form of contact with him and hurriedly given her daughter as his betrothed.

'That means that I have to–'

"Mason," the Empress whispered, her voice soft yet commanding. "Please..."

She reached out towards him, her hand gently caressing his cheek. He flinched as her touch sent a shiver down his spine. She pulled him closer, pressing her body against his own. Her warmth seeped into him, filling his veins with a strange energy that made his heart race faster.

Mason could feel the heat coming from her skin as she pressed herself against him. Her breath tickled his neck as she spoke again, her lips inches away from his ear.

"I have been waiting for you, my Favored One."

Mason closed his eyes tight. The sound of her voice echoed through his ears, sending a chill down his spine. His breathing quickened as he felt her warm breath on his neck. He opened his eyes slowly, looking into her emerald green orbs. They stared back at him, burning with an unwavering intensity.

Her hands slid down to his waist, her fingertips brushed against the waistband of his pants, teasingly running her delicate fingers across, as she continued moving downward.

'What the hell was I thinking when I willingly chose to meet her?!'

"Your Highness, there's no need for this," Mason said, taking another step back. "We can discuss this later, there's still the pri–"

The Empress raised an eyebrow. "But we are discussing it now, aren't we?" she asked with a playful grin. She placed her hands on his shoulders, pushing him gently backward until he was pressed against the wall behind him.

Mason tried to break free but found that she was holding him tightly in place. He looked down at her, their faces only inches apart. Their bodies were flush together, separated by nothing but a thin layer of clothing.

'What rank is this woman, Kitanai?'

She ran her hands up his chest, feeling his muscles tense under her touch. She moved her hands around to his sides, sliding them underneath his hanfu.

Mason gritted his teeth, trying to keep himself from tensing up as her hands explored his body. He couldn't help but notice how soft her skin was as it glided across his torso. A surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins as he realized that she was about to undo his pants.

He flipped them over, pinning the Empress's arms against the wall as he pushed her away. She laughed softly as he quickly pulled off his shirt, leaving her staring at his bare chest.

"You look like a beast!" she exclaimed playfully, her eyes roaming over his muscular physique. "You should not hide such beauty from the world."

Mason took a deep breath, letting out a sigh as he relaxed his shoulders. He knew that he had to calm down if he wanted to get out of this situation alive.

"I guess I shouldn't hold back then," he replied.

She smiled as she watched him take off his pants, revealing the most dignified bulge she'd ever seen. She licked her lips, watching his every movement while he stripped off the rest of his clothing carefully.

He turned around to face her, smiling confidently. "Now that we're both naked, let's begin."
