Chapter 25-Founding of a Kingdom

Three months after half of the Anarchic Lands was unified, the whole territory undergo a massive makeover.

The new citizens were joyful, ever since the Dawson Duchy take-over their cities, their lives also change. With jobs all over the territory, they have their source of income now. Unlike before, they resort to banditry or begging in the streets just to feel their stomachs. With strict rules against violence and killing, the citizen's life was peaceful. They do not need to worry about their safety while inside the territory.

The Dawson Duchy now was not like before the war three months ago, where they only have two Saint-level combatants. The four magical companions of James, Sarah, Douglas, and Roger, thanks to the Saint-level magicite cores, were all promoted to Saints. James, Douglas, and Roger have trained hard, with Ernst guidance, they finally promoted to Saint a month ago. With the addition of Nadia, there are a total of eight Saints in Dawson Duchy.

In addition to this, their army was also to become more powerful. They have now twenty-five legions, with twenty thousand soldiers in each legion that patrols and maintain the safety of the people and the territory.

A week before the founding of Dawson Kingdom, the relatives of his father and mother arrives. The family welcomes everyone.

Yulan calendar, year 10004. February 1st. The Dawson City was already prepared for the founding of their kingdom. The construction of Dawson City was now complete.

The palace was not big and did not take much area. It was only six square kilometers in size.

In the past, when Dawson family conquered the Blackdirt City, they already started the construction so that in the future their territory becomes a kingdom. They will only renovate some areas instead of building new ones. When the city was upgraded to a duchy, more buildings were built in the Blackdirt City, and it was renamed Dawson City. Most of the buildings in the city were two-storey high. The palace stand as high as three-storey, the main hall of the palace was large enough, capable of holding one thousand people.

"Your Majesty, Monroe, I came as the envoy of the Emperor of the Rhine Empire to bring our sincerest congratulations." A middle-aged man said respectfully to King Monroe. Monroe toasted with the envoy with a cup of wine.

"King Monroe." Guillermo bowed towards Monroe.

The people who came are Castro, Kenyon and Lanke.

"Three disciples of the High Priest of the Yulan Empire have arrived."

"Lord O'Casey from the Cult of Shadows has arrived."

"Lord McKenzie have arrived."

Yet another Saint have arrived.

McKenzie was not alone, with him were Jenne and Keane.

During the founding of the kingdom, Ernst was staying in the back garden of the Blackshadow Castle and did not meet anyone. He sometimes uses his divine sense to scan the kingdom. With his huge divine power, his divine sense can cover ten thousand kilometers. While he scans, he noticed the arrival of McKenzie with Jenne and Keane. He sometimes misses his two students, so he decided to welcome them personally. He flew towards the Dawson Castle. Furthermore, he is not an aloof Deity who always hides in the public. Upon arrival, he walks towards the main hall to see his students.

Ernst shows himself for the first time in the main hall, with a smile, he personally welcomes the trio.

Upon seeing Ernst arrival, Jenne and Keane were both happy as they hurriedly went over and bowed respectfully.

"Teacher!"

The people of the main hall was shocked, they don't know that Ernst has students. They look at McKenzie with envy. Many of the guest on the main hall were there to see Ernst and a chat with him.

Ernst looks at Jenne and Keane. Jenne was now a 5th rank magus and 6th rank warrior, while Keane was a 6th rank warrior.

"You two don't let me down. I just accompany you for seven months in the Mountain Range of Magical Beast while I'm training. After three years, Keane now was promoted to 6th rank warrior, while Jenne was now also a 6th rank warrior in addition to being a 5th rank magus. Not bad, not bad. In the back garden of the Blackshadow Castle, Jenne and Keane told their experiences after Ernst left their village. Ernst just listens to them. After finishing their story, Jenne ask. "Teacher, can we stay here? We want to enter the Ernst Institute as student."

Ernst nodded and agree. "Alright. I think it will be fine. But the training in the institute was strict. In the campus, I also teach students once a month when I have a spare time. You can train with the other students there."

"Thank you teacher." Jenne and Keane bowed.

"McKenzie, how's your training in the Laws of Fire?"

"Lord Ernst, thanks to your guidance, I am finally promoted to middle stage Saint from early stage Saint a year ago. My strongest technique 'World of Flames' was also upgraded, now the spear shadows are getting distinct." McKenzie answered Ernst question truthfully.

After a whole day of celebration, the establishment of Dawson Kingdom was finally over.

After a week of meditation, McKenzie finally open his eyes. He was very excited. His strength has increased by another level and now a peak stage Saint from middle stage Saint one week ago. He is now much stronger compare to the original canon.

He looks around and did not find traces of Ernst. Not only that, but he stands and bow towards the direction where Ernst stays. "Thank you for the direction, because of your demonstration, I managed to have a breakthrough."

Suddenly, a voice appears on McKenzie's mind, "It's nothing much. With your promotion, you now can trade blows with Haydson."

McKenzie eyes went wide, he feels Ernst presence was much stronger than War God O'Brien. He only speaks to his mind, but he feels an intense pressure. He had an idea what level Ernst was now, but he did not delve deeper, and it is not good to ask too much.

One month after the establishment of Dawson Kingdom, all departments of the kingdom are on the right track and functioning well. With King Monroe's lead, the kingdom was running smoothly and steady.

Business opportunities were everywhere in the kingdom as the Dawson Conglomerate transfer their headquarters to Dawson City, thus bringing tons of jobs for the citizens.

Every city in the kingdom was undergoing a construction boom as many facilities were built such as road, bridges, houses, orphanage, market, plaza, arena and many more. Thanks to the payment of the Radiant Church and Cult of Shadows, the funds for the construction are ample.

Military payment of soldiers are re-adjusted and increased. Most of the citizens of the kingdom were yearning to be a soldier because the pay and treatment was good.

Many people outside the Dawson Kingdom were very envious towards their citizens. They wished, their cities will be conquered by the kingdom so that their lives can get better. Especially the slaves, they want to migrate to the Dawson Kingdom, but their master's won't allow them. In the entire Yulan continent, it is public knowledge that slavery was strictly prohibited in the Dawson Kingdom. Anyone who was caught practicing slavery will be punished and kick-out from the kingdom and never welcome back.

The most important event in the kingdom was, when King Monroe announced that Ernst was now promoted to a Deity. The sudden big news, shocked the entire Yulan continent. Previous forces that antagonistic towards the Dawson Kingdom in the past, such as the Radiant Church and Cult of Shadows sends huge amount of gold coins as a congratulation for Ernst promotion, but in reality they just too afraid that Ernst might attack them.

The most joyful about the news were the citizens of the Dawson Kingdom. With a Deity, as an overseer on their kingdom, who will dare to attack them? Now their kingdom is presently the same level as Yulan Empire and O'Brien Empire having a Deity as their backer.

Because of this news, the entire kingdom celebrated for an entire week, making the citizens happy and thankful as they thank their king and Deity.
