Unknown creature: Level 5!

4.1 Agility points. That is quite good; at least this ensures that I wouldn't be killed by any creature lesser than level 4, well, except if I met some special or lucky ones. But I am sure I wouldn't be the one to meet such a lucky creature, and even if I were indeed the one, a sly smile appeared on my face. Then without a doubt, I will surely be able to escape from danger, all thanks to my stealth attribute.

Thinking about such scenes, I heaved a sigh of relief. At least for now, I wouldn't be pursued up and down while being in constant threat of death, well unless the creature surpasses the 6th level. Which I guess shouldn't be possible, right? I asked myself. After all, the 6th level and above creatures as of right now aren't really common. It would take quite some time to even chance upon one, and if you did chance upon one, be sure to prepare your coffin unless you are above level 6. And I trust the World News; their information is always the best and the most reliable.

But I also didn't fully trust the World News. To be able to get such information in nothing but some hours makes me have the feeling that the owner of the World News is more mysterious than I thought. And I sure didn't want to have anything to do with such an individual; as while I can make use of their information, I should also be careful not to trust it too much, I reminded myself. What a pity, now my laptop has been destroyed with no remains at all. No one would have even believed that a laptop had exploded here, well except for the fact that the walls of the room were filled with dark burnt stains and the dark green blood of the Shadow Spectre.

Which made me realize that the Shadow Spectres are indeed unique. Stealth attribute. Not only that, even their blood has a variety of colors or has two different colors. "Amazing," I said in a mocking tone. But well, I guess I also have to thank you. After all, although you did make me destroy my laptop, but at the same time, if you hadn't come to kill me, I wouldn't have been able to get the stealth attribute and get stronger this fast. As the saying goes, everything that happens should have happened. If not, another thing would have happened. If you hadn't been the one, I might have died. But luckily, it is the cocky you that came. So thanks. In return, I will make sure to become far stronger. Strong and smart enough to survive in this strange yet familiar Earth as we know it to be. Since I can't sleep due to hidden dangers being everywhere, I might as well go and cook my food and eat.

Rumble, my stomach was rumbling as soon as I said this. It seems that you are indeed hungry, I said as I stared at my stomach. Well, no worries, you will soon get something to eat, I said as I made way for the stairs. I jogged down the stairs and made my way to the kitchen. And as I expected, through the window in the living room, I could see that there were countless grotesque creatures outside my living room. As soon as they saw me, they made their various weird and eerie voices as they scratched, screeched, slashed, and bit on the wooden door.

And as to be expected, nothing they did affected the metallic door. If they could affect or even cause damage to the metallic door, then I might as well stop resisting, for I was sure I wouldn't be able to handle a creature of such level, even if hundreds of me were added together. We would merely make up what is known as numbers in such a one-sided battle or, better still, a massacre. But I knew that the grotesque creatures outside wouldn't be able to accomplish such a feat. And the grotesque creatures continued with their assaults. I merely smiled at all this, for this was the action meant by all barks and no action.

I made way for the kitchen when I suddenly heard a sound coming from upstairs. I almost jumped up in fright. What could that be? Kggrrh, kgrrh. The sound continued reverberating as I noticed that the sound was getting closer to me. Stealth - Activate. I said as I managed to regain composure, entering the stealth mode in an instant. I knew that as long as the creature had a level lesser than that of level 6, it wouldn't be able to notice or sense my presence. As for how the creature had managed to enter my room, I didn't know and couldn't care. For I knew anything was possible in this apocalyptic era that the world has entered into.

Hidden behind the steps, the sound gradually came clearer and gradually seemed closer. I could hear the sound, and I knew that the creature who made the sound was walking in a weird manner, since the voice was swaying from one place to another. More like grotesques, but I knew grotesque creatures couldn't make such sounds. So that only left us with zombies.

The creature which I deemed as a zombie, with its eerie dark green body, and dark green luster in its eyes. Seeing the creature, isn't this the Shadow Spectre, well apart from walking mindlessly, there wasn't really any much difference between it and a Shadow Spectre. I couldn't be bothered with this. With a swift and precise movement, I arrived in front of the creature. Bang, a punch landed solidly on the face of the creature. But the unimaginable had ensued; the creature wasn't affected by my punch. I didn't believe it. "I don't believe I can't kill you," I said as I unleashed successive punches on the creature's face while dodging the slashes of the creature.

I knew that the creature didn't sense me or know where I was. The only way it could have slashed out like that was instinct. Yes, instinct. Some people had great instinct abilities. They could easily tell when they were in danger. But such creatures or people were rare; it required great talent, and some are more lucky, as it is part of their abilities. I didn't care about all this, as I moved around the creature, unleashing a myriad of punches, but no matter what I did, apart from swaying in the direction that my punches had thrown the creature to, it didn't really cause any other damage. I knew the only reason such a thing could have happened was if my strength wasn't enough to even affect the creature.

Level 5. The creature was at level 5. My heart throbbed wildly as I exclaimed in trepidation. "Level 5, this will surely hell be a tough battle," I murmured as I continued my rain of assaults.
