Chapter 4 - Mysterious booklet
Senior Yin held a worn-out booklet that seems to crumble and was on the verge of turning to dust, however, Tian Shen was baffled by how something remains in one piece from the cover to the content within it. He vaguely guesses the booklet was no ordinary from the moment his eyes laid upon it, Despite the pitiful state it was even comparable to trash contain a mysterious yet profound aura.
Tian Shen's eyes unknowingly glint that appears to be gaze of supreme expert that not a single secret could be hidden, However, it lasted for only a brief moment before fading to nothingness.
"What is this, Senior Yin?"
"I've found it from my last exploration outside the city. Though, I was able to obtain few things this one remains a mystery and had been gathering dust in my storage. Perhaps, this is fated to be yours."
Senior Yin was the leader of a branch from the merchant guild which was force within the Azure Dragon City
"I-I can't accept this, Senior Yin. If this booklet came from an ancient ruin then this is better to be in your hands."

After handing the old booklet, Tian Shen felt grateful at Senior Yin then hid the booklet on the folds of his clothes. The people who saw the booklet immediately grew greedy on stealing from Tian Shen feeling the profound aura it carried, however, it was for brief moment as their memory was suddenly rewritten erasing the existence of the booklet that even Senior Yin. The only one who recalled everything was Tian Shen.
The young boy obviously at the mysterious occurrence and left the confused crowd and headed towards the public library that contains history and ancient texts that may prove vital to his situation. He would be able to understand more about the world his in and gain more foundation on everything. Tian Shen only had basic and common sense that lack in depth information on everything.
He strolled for an hour, surprising him that his body hadn't felt tired nor sweat from walking. Tian Shen wondered how long since he had been able to walked this long without feeling exhausted. It was excruciating due to how his body continuously lost nutrients burning the fat and muscle by simply walking. He only able to live that long due to eating endless amount food yet in the end it only able to slow down the inevitable.
Tian Shen shook his head from the depressing thought of the past and focus on the present. He wouldn't want to waste the chance to live how he had wish it to be.
After a while, he arrived at the entrance of a pagoda called the [Myriad scripture library] where contains countless literature from simple story to ancient text that came before Era of immortals had ended where experts roam the land and able to become powerful that mortal worship them as a god butt in the end all of them vanish from the world.
Though, this only located at the top where noble and permitted people able to enter therefore Tian Shen only given access to First to third out of the Nine floors. Tian Shen walked up the stairs where the guard saw him quickly greeted the young boy with friendly smile.
"Oh Tian Shen!? This is surprise that you're here did something happened?"
"Nothing beside Sister Feng scolding. I decided to take break and thought the library may give some entertainment."
"Hahahaha I would have like to see that! Well you go ahead just remember to not go higher floor."
Tian Shen nodded then set foot inside the Library where rows of bookshelf presented themselves to him where at the end of the rows book in the middle was the stairs that leads to the higher floors. He didn't planned on going higher where cultivation methods and ancient scriptures are sacredly guarded by the library.
He roamed occasionally seeing other people who invested in reading which were commoners that able to read and write while the nobles are higher floors. The library had strict rule where fighting is not allowed where both party are punished without question therefore avoiding conflict inside.
Tian Shen took a while to gather basic history books and information about cultivation within the world. He only knew about the name of their city and not the specific name of the world he was in. After laying down stacks of books beside him took the time to flipped each pages gaining more information about the history and world he was in.

The world his was called the Draconic Godland where it had four continent namely Azure Dragon continent, Vermillion bird Continent, Black tortoise continent and the White tiger Continent with the former being the place where his currently in. The founder of the Azure Dragon city was one of the last Immortals that helped protect the last remaining humans and left behind cultivation methods for the future generation.
The sources of the calamity remain unknown, it had countless cause from demonic cultivators who spread the calamity to a Immensely powerful creature who surpasses the immortals. Whatever it may be one was sure that the battle led to numerous immortals live to die and empires decimated from their might.

This power only able to roam and safely escaped from the danger outside the walls.

Tian Shen close the book on the history of the world then took the book about cultivation that been making extremely excited to learn an in depth explanation. He was avid fun of cultivation therefore couldn't content his excitement holding the book and opened the book then began reading.
