Fir's First Day - 1

When Fir came to, he was floating in a white void. An endless void that brought some warmth that was comfortable.

"Ah, so I died?"

A single thought passed through his mind as he floated in the void.

"I'll be honest if this is what is left after death, it is going to get boring fast."

Not even 30 minutes passed before Fir started losing his mind in the void and he started to drift his body through the void in search of another presence beside himself. After an eternity when he started to feel himself falter mentally, he felt the existence of another. He pushed himself to the limit towards the being that he sensed as quickly as he could. After another 3 hours of flying towards the being, he felt himself becoming more comfortable and directing his mental focus in flying and his speed gradually increasing and his mind becoming more clear.

"This is fascinating, it's almost like my mind is able to unconsciously spreading its influence into the surroundings and dominate the energy present in the area that is under the influence."

By dominating the energy as his own, Fir was then able to propel himself into a direction of his choice, in this case, the direction towards the entity.

After another horrifying amount of time during which Fir became more proficient in handling, what he would later learn to be mana, at a monstrous rate. It was to the point that the entity who was waiting for him to arrive raised an eyebrow when he felt Fir's talent in learning something he has never been in contact with. A smile graced the void from the entity's face which seemed radiant even in a world that was filled with light to the brim. He waited patiently again.

"T-3 hours to arrive at the being's location. Passengers, please be prepared as you may expect some turbulence as the pilot is going to speed up. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Fir muttered under his breath as he finally felt a spark of hope alighting in him, a feeling he wholeheartedly nurtured to drive himself even harder to reach the entity to whom he expected to have some answers to why was he here.

After 3 hours he finally arrived at the location where the entity was present and he finally saw where the entity resided. Contrary to what some might have expected, the island where the entity resided, was a huge chunk of some blackish rock with green runes engraved throughout the island and in the center of this island, there was a single throne on which the entity was sitting. The size of the throne was monstrous and the aura of the entity sitting on the throne even more so. As Fir floated through the void and approached the being, he saw the being who was waiting for him with his eyes closed lightly tilted his head towards Fir's direction. The being opened his mouth and in a sonorous voice that seemed to echo throughout the void spoke.

"Welcome newcomer, I'm the god of the world called Orthoria. It's a pleasure meeting you."
