10 The Tower of Trials

While Noah and Arthur were enjoying a 50-year-old Chateau LA ROSE, on the lower floor, room 1, Aiden was sitting with his lackeys playing game a poker game.

Although they were playing, Aiden seemed absentminded, the others noticed and one of them decided to ask what bothering their leader.

Red, long hair almost fully covers a skinny, gloomy face. Expressive blue eyes, set handsomely within their sockets.

The red-haired young man is Gareth Windsor. The second young man was Elliot Page.

Naturally, they were all members of the Elite class.

''What is bothering you, Boss?" Gareth was the one to raise this question.

Aiden looked at him but didn't immediately answer, Elliot stepped in.

''Maybe, it's related to that boy, Noah was it? His name.''

Aiden's expression darkened and the other two understood it was indeed related to Noah.

''Don't worry, Boss, I just have to go teach him a lesson and he will behave.'' Gareth flexed his muscles as he spoke.

Elliot facepalmed, too ashamed to look up.

'This damn muscle brain, everything is not resolved with muscles.' Elliot didn't want to waste his time on the idiot.

Finally, there was some reaction from Aiden. He laughed after hearing what Gareth had said. Because he knew Noah and they had interacted a lot in the past, of course, he was aware of his strength, therefore Gareth could not do anything to the man.

''You! Forget it!" Aiden snickered.

''Everything will change after tomorrow. The real beginning will commence. Elliot, did you research the things I have ordered you?"

''Yes! It's possible to rent a building and it possible to create a guild, I mean club during your first year.'' Elliot answered Aiden's question.

''Oh, that's good to hear. As for credits let's earn them after getting a class. For now, let's resume the game. I was winning right?"

Aiden's mood improved and he resumed playing the Poker game.

The night quietly passed.

The sunlight makes rainbow diamonds that dance upon the canvas that is the wall. As Gaïa turns they stretch and fade to the silent applause of eyes.

A new day has begun, an important day for the students in the Elite Classroom.

Elena walked in and saw that her students were waiting for her arrival, impatience could be seen in their eyes and the mood was heavily mixed with anticipation for what had yet to start.

She was amused.

''Good morning class. I see you are all eager to start. I understand your enthusiasm. Well, I won't take too much of your time.''

The students were happy to begin, some were eager than most such as Noah feeling Lilith's intense gaze, she tried to stop him before he entered the classroom but he ignored her. Although Noah remembered his father's advice he could not easily put it to use, he was still angry, afraid as well. He will take his time to see whether or not he wants to renew their friendship, before anything else he had to acquire a Class because this would mark the beginning of everything, whether to achieve his goal or not he had to get a Class first.

Noah ignored Lilith's stare and focused his attention on his teacher, Elena.

''Before you all are sent into our special dungeons, I just wanted to remind you that every Class is good, there is no bad Class just bad Player. Although Classes are ranked it doesn't mean that someone with a Common Class is worthless, everything depends on how well you understand your Class and how well you develop it. There are many examples of Common Class Player being more powerful than Elite Class Player, the same goes for Elite Class and the Unique Class.

How should I put it for you to understand?

Huh! Let's see I have found the right example, Classes are like real life, poor and rich, sometimes a poor can become richer than a rich. Just take Elite Class and Unique Class as classes with privileges, Life is unfair but can be balanced if you work hard. We will talk more later after your Advancement Class.''

Elena's words gave courage to those fearing it would be the end if they awakened a Common Class.

Research has demonstrated that Classes aren't necessarily hereditary because someone whose parents are Elite-class players will not necessarily get an Elite Class. Classes heavily depend on the Player, you will get a Class that fits you.

Well, there always exists exception, it's how Life works.

After giving them a few pieces of advice, Elena asked them to follow her to another building, on road their passed the other classes and when the other students saw them, they couldn't hide the look of envy in their eyes because they were aware of where they were going, what they were about to do. These students clenched their fists and secretly prayed to get an awesome Class to make up for the loss.

While most of the students from the Elite classroom did not care about those envious looks they were receiving, some of them were gloating at the envious students, feeling proud of their achievement.

'You can't never catch up to us. We are the Elites.'

Elena observed everything and couldn't help but remind her students.

''It is good to be proud but never let it get to your head because you'll drown in this small achievement and before you know it the others will have already surpassed you, so stay focused and never lose what is important, do you understand?"

''We understand!!"

The gloating students felt ashamed and immediately decided to correct this mentality.

After walking for a while, passing many buildings, they were finally at their destination.

Standing before them was a tall building, no it was more like a tower to be exact, it was so tall the end couldn't be seen.

The Tower of Trials it is called, a simple name that perfectly fits its design. It gives access to many awesome facilities such as a training room (Gravity room..) and many other things but the reason for its uniqueness lies in its man-made dungeons in form of trials, which one could use to train and get rewards.

Only after acquiring a class you can have direct access but with credits mind you. It is said you receive a perfect graduation licence only if you conquer the Tower of trials' floors. Awesome rewards await you inside. As its name implied you get rewarded upon completing a trial.

The students were excited standing before such a majestic tower.

''Let's go.''

Elena and her students entered the first floor where she first registered her students before every single one of them selected an armor and a weapon before going through the teleportation's portail.

This marked the beginning of the Elite Class's Awakening.
