Raid 4

For Pentagon, Adura, Rashid and Theo were up front holding shields, Rashid and Theo on Adura's right and left respectively, and Mira, David and Funmi were at the back, their weapons at ready, Funmi and David at Mira's right and left respectively. The 2 defenders and the balance breaker clashed with the prodigy, Rashid and Theo were stopped by the swords of the prodigy and Adura was held by the horns of the Tricorn, the horse was very strong for a Rank 3 but Adura still managed to stop it.

Their formation split into three, Mira behind Adura, Funmi behind Rashid and David behind Theo. The prodigy sent its energy into the horse to allow it overpower Adura so that it wouldn't be flanked, Adura back stepped slowly allowing the horse to move so her shield wouldn't break as David and Funmi left the protection of their defender and attacked the prodigies flanks.

The prodigy raised its swords and blocked the long sword thrust from Funmi and the glaive swing from David, letting out a loud clang. An explosion went off and Mira was in the air, she had activated her shoe's skill, which caused air explosions to happen at her feet using yellow aura which allowed her to propel herself in three dimensions even without foot holds.

Mira performed an flying aura blade slash in the air as Adura was pushed backward even more without Mira's support and the horse and the prodigy were moving forward, the paragon's head directly in the path of the aura slash.

The aura slash hit an invisible wall and passed through but the air shook and it slowed down and dispersed until it was no more. The horse instantly stopped charging and jumped back as Mira landed. Theo calmly said "Switch formations; Mira and I are on range attacks, the rest status quo".

Mira understood that he wanted her at the back of the formation for her aura slash skill, she felt it was a waste as it was only one of the things in her arsenal; her armor wasn't a decoration.

Mira's eyes went to the genius, who was just watching the battle, for a second. She thought 'He's the one that stopped my attack'. She could feel its energy from where she stood.

At the start of the battle the undead had stretched its energy zone, something Jade could do but she couldn't because of her lacking energy amount.

The prodigy charged with its horse again and the defenders, now Rashid and Adura charged also. Theo whispered to Mira saying "attack its horse". Unlike the last charge, before the prodigy could reach the defenders it was showered with attacks from the rangers, Mira and Theo. Theo threw one of the Javelins that were on his back and Mira threw 3 knives at different parts of the horse.

The attacks caused the prodigy to steer its horse away from the focus fire and go backward to the right, heading closer to the genius. It had superior mobility as the horse was unnaturally agile and could suddenly change directions without any deceleration.

The attacks missed and Theo said "Mira, balance breaker, to the right flank. Prevent it from getting closer to the genius". Mira smiled and dashed to her position while the prodigy enhanced itself and its horse with its energy, it knew they were trying to separate it from the genius.

It wanted to disrupt the change in formation by attacking Mira, who was a major threat to it, with unrivaled power and speed before they could defend her. The prodigy activated its ability and its horse's ability; their muscles swelled and their exoskeleton tightened, their exoskeleton and the paragon's swords became red under the enhancement from the energy.

The prodigy dashed at Mira on its steed, too fast for the defenders to intercept, it got past the defense line and met up with Mira thrusting one of its swords at her. The defense energy skill of the body suit and armor was activated as the sword landed on the left side of her chest. The sword slipped to the left without doing any damage as Mira swung Tranquil Day at the horse's chest.

The horse swiftly jumped back after the failed attack of the prodigy, Mira ran and occupied the space between the prodigy and the genius as she switched to Havoc Night.

The prodigy blocked the javelin that was thrown by Theo with its sword. Adura, David, Rashid and Funmi had charged to its location by the end of the block and they started attacking the prodigy, Mira threw throwing knives at the horse as she approached the prodigy.

The genius, seeing the separation from the prodigy and itself increase switched from protecting the prodigy to preparing an attack on the Mira. Mira felt a change in the energy around her as she approached the prodigy and activated her boots' skill and lounged at the prodigy.

An explosion happened at where she had just been and propelled her faster; she was now close to the horse. She took Tranquil Day out with her free hand and swung it at the horse's stomach, piercing through the exoskeleton easily.

The attack hit and as she was about to use Havoc on the same wound, the prodigy attacked her with a thrust aimed at her eyes and she had to parry but she smiled 'The horse is done for' she thought as the attack knocked her back.

The acidic poison was very effective as the exoskeleton and skin of the horse around the wound steamed and the poison melted its way into the body of the horse in real time. The prodigy didn't understand what was happening but it knew it had to get under the genius's protection or it would die.

The prodigy turned its horse and charged at Mira, this time it paid dearly for its negligence. A javelin lodged itself in its torso; through its shoulder, down to its abdomen, as it was about to meet Mira; a critical wound.

With the connection to its right arm broken by the wound, it wildly swung its left sword at Mira. Mira didn't even bother to dodge, she stood firm with all her might while swinging Havoc at the paragon's right leg.

The leg was severed and the paragon's slash slid of Mira's armor again, while the horse's horns pushed her back. David and Funmi jumped from behind, at the prodigy as Mira was flying back, David beheaded the prodigy while Funmi stabbed into the horse's head.
