239 Demon blood festival of Kairouan part 4
Before Rufus could be in trouble, the two evolved demons stopped as a cricketing sound started to be heard from the corridor. The noise became louder and louder until the doors blasted open with thousands of locusts swarming in. Caval and Velgar saw the demon's head, who had been fighting against the queen, dropping at the center of the room. Thousands of small insects were feasting on its flesh before it evaporated completely.
Queen Satifa entered the room, utterly unscathed from her battle against the other demon.
"Where is Bouzid?" Queen Satifa said, extremely mad, as she had sensed Bouzid's divine aura disappear in an instant a few moments ago.
"WHO THE HELL IS BOUZID!?" Velgar yelled.
"Hahahahahahaaaaaaa!" Caval started to laugh.
"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?" Velgar yelled.
"You idiot...Bouzid was the witch you possessed, hahaha hahaha."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" Velgar started to laugh as well.
The queen commanded the massive swarm of locusts to attack the two demons, but Caval created a wall of flesh to guard them. When the locusts finally ate through the flesh wall, the queen saw Caval carrying Velgar away. Caval jumped from the balcony, and Velgar spread its wings to carry them up above the skies of Kairouan.
"Velgar, stop. Let us kill that witch once and for all. I have an idea."
Caval started to turn into a large carnal, and fleshy sword. Velgar grabbed hold of Caval and raised it above its head. A tremendous strong divinity was beginning to gather. If the attack comes down, it would kill many civilians and people of Kairouan and a possible large storm of pandora winds could manifest. This would prove fatal as the demons could absorb the negative energy and grow even more powerful.
Satifa looked in horror and tried to send her locust into the sky, so they could prevent them, but she knew she wasn't fast enough.
"Strike at the city! Turn it into ash! Let us create destruction so we may grow stronger!"
"YEEEEEEEEEES!" Velgar yelled.
As the sword was about to come down on the city, a cannon shell struck at Velgar.
"What the hell?" Caval said as it turned back to its demon form.
It was the red fox the ship of Kassim. Like a miracle, Kassim appeared above Kairouan just the right time. Kassim was coming down fast with his ship, ordering his crew to aim at the demons.
"Men! Kill those demons!" Kassim yelled.
The demons looked mad, and they then stared back at the palace. The queen released her absolute power to catch the two demons. From every window and door of the palace, locusts started to fly in pursuit of the two demons.
The two demons knew they were not strong enough to fight simultaneously against the gravity ship and the queen. They were the weakest they had been for millennia and knew their only option was to flee.
Velgar, while carrying Caval, started to fly higher and higher. They soon past the clouds as the red fox tried to pursue them, but the screaming demon was too fast. They had escaped.

In the meanwhile, prince Segeric was calmly walking to his gravity ship. The Varangian soldiers of the empire had killed all the Saracen guards. A few locust witches tried to prevent his escape but were killed by the prince swiftly.
"Lift the sails, men. Weeeee are out of here!" Segeric said with a smile.
As the prince was about to board the ship, he heard clashes of weapons with his men yelling as they were getting beat up. The prince turned around and saw ten of his soldiers lying beaten to a pulp by Pema.
The imperial soldiers were about to rush at him but were stopped when the prince said, "No need guys, make sure that we can leave as soon as I am finished."
As Pema started to cover his body with his carbon armor, the prince didn't seem afraid or intimidated. Flames began to form and concentrate into plate armor protecting the prince. A lance from fire composed that the prince grabbed with a large scutum shield on the other one. A helmet made from flames covered his head, with only small holes to see through.
Pema jumped in, and with his carbon armored fist hit hard at his opponent, but with ease, the prince shielded himself with the fiery rectangle shield. Segeric didn't budge and, with immense strength, tried to kill Pema with his lance.
Pema thought his carbon skin would protect him, but the heat from the lance forced him to step back as the warmth was too much for him. As he did, Segeric kept pressuring him with his shield, rushing forward with it in front. Though the prince wasn't as fast as Pema, anything close to him would burst into flames.
Pema wasn't sure how to combat the prince. To him, it was like he was battling the sun itself.
"My prince, we are ready to depart!" one of the imperial soldiers said as the gravity ship of the empire undocked from the platform.
"It seems I have no more time to play with you, savage," said the prince as he struck his large scutum shield onto the floor and made the entire dock crumble beneath Pema.
Pema was about to fall, but instead, the grey skin warrior with his quick feet jumped from one falling rock to another. Pema somersaulted in front of the prince and stopped him from getting onboard the ship.
"You don't talk much, do you?" the prince said with a smirk.
Pema didn't answer and instead went for a high kick, which was quickly stopped by the prince.
"Fine, I will stop playing nice with you."
The shield of Segeric vanished into smoke, and with his newly freed hand, he grabbed hold of Pema's leg. The prince's lance started to turn and spiral, with flames bursting. Segeric propelled his lance straight at the heart of Pema with such speed that even he was too slow to evade him.
The armor around the chest of Pema crackled as sparks flew off from it as the spiraling lance drilled into the carbon armor. Pema felt huge pain as never before was his armor overpowered and never had it gotten even a slight scratch.
Pema's eyes rolled back as the lance finally broke through the armor and plunged into his chest. The prince pushed the dying grey skin off the ledge and started to fall tens of meters.
"Goodbye, unknown grey skin warrior."
