4 Chapter 4 - Time passes

It's been exactly 10 since he awakened his quirk and diligently trained non-stop having studied under numerous martial art masters from Aikido, Judo, Jeet Kune do, Etc. He was a monster when it comes to martial arts because of his talent and [ Unrestricted Self-development ]. He can pinpoint weaks points of an opponent to either kill them or knock them out. 

His master even considered him a one in lifetime and poured everything into teaching him martial art as it had been a dying breed due to the rise of quirks. Momo also learned under his martial art teacher having learned Wing-Chun, Aikido, and many others but she was below Ren yet still a prodigy nonetheless. 

Ren knew that she felt insecure about it since Momo wanted to be by his side and in which he told her it doesn't matter because he is different and should do everything at her own pace and style. He taught her ways of possibly using her own quirk like creating combustion gasses in the palm of her hands like Bakugo or even having neurotoxin in the palm of her hands that is enough to paralyze and induce nausea to her opponents. 

He notices that she has resistance to her own creation and witnesses her nails turn into claws that contain poison. Ren knew that she isn't limited and can create anything as long as she understands.

In the end, she learns his string technique and more, making Momo a deadly opponent where she can even turn herself undetectable with Paragon Shadow that Ren taught her. Momo train even reaching a level one could say is similar to Spider-Man strength because of her cultivation having reached Third Rate Martial Artist while surprisingly Ren reached Peak Martial artist making him comparable to someone with superhuman strength. 

Frankly, if it weren't for his [ Unrestricted Self-development ] then Momo would be his equal in terms of talent, No she is a lot more talented since without his previous memory and Momo existed in Murim then she would be a prime disciple of the top sect leader. She was a strategist and a genius with talent for fighting makes anyone envious. 

Momo was forced to be reckoned with and Ren loved every bit of it. She won't be a damsel in distress and makes her a capable fighter. He was unsure if the canon works like what Momo's quirk is doing in this world but doesn't care since she's at least stronger. 

Speaking of Quirks, Ren learns that he can change the properties of his string from sticky webs strings to poison lace strings. He wondered what the limits were when it came to the concept of strings? Does it include String of Fate? String of Life? Or even the String theory? Whatever limits his strings can do is up to him.

Beside them, Melissa also began learning how to fight and taught her every time they visited, giving her a way to cultivate as well the ideas they shared. The two constantly video chat and help her when training, sending videos of him demonstrating his step. Yet again, Melissa was an adept martial artist on par with Momo and learned Karate, Taekwondo, boxing, etc under the heroes who were in their island. 

She managed to create the Arc reactor that was evolutionary, that the I-Island began using the energy from the arc reactor while Melissa continued to improve it where she made Iron man armor made of Nanites base from Senator Armstrong and even added Nanites into her body. Melissa basically became Iron man mixed with Batman having vice knowledge in many fields. 

At first, David was worried about her daughter but knew it was what she wanted and telling her to stop would ruin their relationship. In the end, he cheered her on and provided everything he knew about engineering. She was planning on applying in the third year for hero support because even hero support can be a hero and Melissa can always be by Ren's side. 

As for school, it was rather boring because they were schooled for the high class who are heirs or heiresses of powerful companies in Japan. They were arrogant and prideful with always flaunting their quirks saying they'll be heroes one day even though the reason for them being isn't because of saving people but the fame and attention. 

He can see that it was likely because of turning themselves into mascots for their company. Frankly, he avoided them and didn't bat an eye when they tried to befriend him since even children can be manipulative. Some even tried befriending Momo to gain the favor of the Yaoyorozu because she was an heiress but she ignored them as well. 

The reason is because they don't like Ren since he was just adopted and doesn't have anything to provide by befriending him but it backfired for them since Momo would only befriend them if Ren liked them. He wondered if her obsession with him would be labeled as Goudere who would do anything for the one they like. 

Ren didn't manipulate her and genuinely cared for her that it was likely his luck and Charisma or what people call Rizz. He smiled recalling those memories while he decided to train even more since Momo and Melissa were currently having female errands. Though his intuition and his reading of women would easily deduce that they'll talk about their relationship with him.

He had also been training in forest where he had diligently sharpened his senses and been trying to regain his combat prowess. Years without life and death would dull his senses which is why he had often trained in dangerous places. 

Ren decided to visit a place that would benefit him in the future where few would dislike his decision. He stood in front of a bunch of trash where those who saw him appeared extremely feminine with his long white hair and fair skin that his charisma and enticing gaze made anyone feel compelled to befriend him. Though, his expression changes into sharp one if provoked, similar to a snake baring their fangs. 

He spread his senses finding the one he was looking for and used his [ Paragon Shadow ] technique to get closer and observe their training. The technique not only gave moves that made him undetectable but also increased his movement speed as he vanished and reappeared close by without even making a sound nor dust.

'Oh that's how his quirk works…. it's brimming with Qi, especially Yang Qi!'

Ren sat on top of a crumbling junk and saw the pathetic protagonist training extremely hard while being instructed by none other than Allmight. He had seen the news in regards to him and frankly found it laughable how they portrayed him as a fool when he acted more heroic than the heroes around them. It was obvious that they were waiting for someone better suited for the job which is fair but still waiting time would have killed that loud mouth, love child of Gordon ramney, Bakugou. 

He uses Qi Sense and considering Qi is basically Nature Chakra or life force showed him that All might despite his wound was able to live this long thanks to his quirk that was brimming with Yang Qi. From what he recalls, only Quirkless are able to bring out most of the quirk and Izuku would be the last user as passing it on would be dangerous. 

Though, that calamity is currently under research since he told David about the situation which made everyone think of such a possibility. Normally, that amount of Qi is equal to a Creation Realm but because these experts cultivated the energy and strengthened themselves that it allowed them to contain the vast energy. Especially how after reaching a certain level they would reconstruct their body and make a better vessel to hold the energy. 

Ren would only help Izuku in ways to utilize that vast amount of Yang Qi but won't teach more than necessary. He finds Allmight to be a horrible teacher that he's wasting time and energy by doing this but then again it is a way to endure using One for All. 

'Izuku…. he's a genius and not far in terms of combat prowess to Momo.'

He recalled that he's able to understand and learn how to develop his own martial art which is already amazing but within just a year already defeated a lot of top tier villains during his time as vigilante. If he had proper teacher then he would be able to show more growth.

'I've read people disliking characters helping the protagonist but I can see myself in him.'

Ren sighed watching him struggle moving the scrap of metal as he saw Allmight deflate and decided to speak up.

"Oh I didn't expect Allmight to have this form." 

His voice caused them to tenses up looking at him in disbelief and had their jaws drop while Izuku was shaken seeing someone found out Allmight.

"H-How long have you been up there!?"

"Enough. I was just curious about the ruckus and saw you train but seeing you were occupied decided to watch the number one Hero train and gotta say it's quite lacking." 

Allmight went pale watching him jump down in front of them crossing his arms looking at Izuku who looked like he was about to cry. 

'Good lord, how much trauma does this kid have?'

He frowned at seeing the protagonist act but didn't judge him knowing the life he lived. 

"A-Allmight what should we do? He knows about your secret!"

"....Young man? Are you a boy?"

"I am. Do you wanna check?"

Allmight cough blood at his joke while Ren just chuckled and said.

"If you're thinking about your secret then don't worry. I won't tell anyone about it since you are a symbol and seeing you in such a state would demoralize them."

The number one Hero somewhat relieved and trusted his words and said.

"Thank you. Care to tell me your name? You may call me Toshinori Yagi in this form."

"H-Hi, I'm I-Izuku Midoriya, I-I-It's nice to meet you." 

Ren smiled at them and said.

"Ren, Ren Kazuno."

Allmight eyes widen in surprise hearing his name and said.

"Ren!? Are you my young Melissa's friend?"

"That's right, she's with her friend. She mentions an Uncle and can't believe it's you, Allmight."

Izuku was confused while Allmight laugh tapping Ren's back telling him that Melissa told him about Ren. He explains to his successor about what's happening and is surprised that he was a friend related to Allmight. 

"Still, it's surprising to meet you like this."

"Same here, but I have to say that it's not surprising that you're in this state. I mean you're not immortal and you'll eventually grow old even without that wound you'll one day have to pass on the torch and if I'm mistaken Izuku is your successor then? The next symbol of peace?" 

Allmight grimances agreeing since he thought that he was able to shoulder it all but now he understood what he needs to do. He looked at Izuku and said.

"Yes, I hope he'll be able to be the new light and pillar." 

"A-Are you sure Allmight? I don't think I'm able to live up to-"

"No, I believe in you, Young Midoriya. You're gonna be better than me and I'm confident you will." 

Hearing his idol felt his heart ache and cried once again because no one gave him any kind words beside his mother. Ren smiled and nodded as he said.

"Frankly, I too believe you'll be able to surpass him but you shouldn't shoulder it alone. Why don't you make a team and be a symbol of hope?"

Ren obviously won't join because he has his own agenda about at least he's able to leave everything in this world event to him since once he leaves it's best to have someone protecting it.
