1 Prologue

It was Saturday night when it happened.

I was chilling and having a walk to calm my mind so I can found an inspiration for my semester's project. During that walk, I stumbled upon arguing people that escalated into a fight. The fight was short lived as one person was bigger than the other and it seemed that the person who is losing was inexperienced in street brawl.

I don't want to be involved at first but there were no other people beside me at that time to break the fight. There is also the fact that the losing guy fell and stay unmoving to the ground and yet kept getting kicked. Before it gets more serious I move to kept the guy who was kicking the motionless guy away from him.

It was easier to calm him down than I expected as the guy realized that the other was unmoving in the ground.

What I didn't expect was the motionless guy had a friends that come not long after I separated them.

It was bunch of angry guys with looks that screams gangster.

It was clear that it will results in total beatdown of the person I just calmed down but somehow I also got beaten up without hearing whatever I said to them. It doesn't stop with beating me down, they even stabbed me a few times before leaving with their downed friend.

Unfortunate circumstances led a relaxing night walk into the worst day of my life.

I laid unmoving in the ground without any strength left in me. I don't know what happened to the other guy but I can heard him whimpering in pain not far away from me.

I can only bitterly wait for help to come even though deep down I know that this is probably the last night of my life. Even then I keep yearning for salvation as I wanted to keep living.

The blood loss was getting into me as I started to hallucinate that the moon above become crimson colored. The sounds of whimpering guy not far away from me also getting fainter and in the muted. After that, the pain that wrecking me was lessened to numbed feeling.

Then come the cold, and then nothingness.

That's what I felt before I woke up sluggishly floating in dark space surrounded with few motes of light.
