Chapter 12 - The Black-Blooded Knight Commander

"Speech"

'Thoughts'

[System]

<Future Sight>

(First POV:)

[June 7th, 05:02:48, 2248]

As I walked into the boss room, still invisible, I put on my unique-rated alchemist gloves. The white fabric with a black sphere on the back of the glove felt almost nostalgic.

I was currently walking down a massive red carpet with reddish-black stone pillars lining the sides. They were massive.

At the end of the room was a large knight-like creature that was currently kneeling at the bottom of the steps of an empty throne.

'Alright, Dust, you got this.' I thought to myself as I calmed my heartbeat.

'Well of Eternity's discerning.'

[The Well of Eternity has discerned the truth of the target.]

'Wait, who is Dimoultion? This isn't him! Where is he?' My thoughts were in disarray, as the being that was supposed to be here just wasn't.

I didn't let that stop me from walking, though. As I got closer, the black ornament feather on the back of the knight's helmet swayed a bit.

I softly kneeled on the right side of the knight, and as I did so, the invisibility potion wore off. It only had three minutes of effectiveness.

I turned my head to face Dimoultion, but only for a second, as I saw Dimoultion turning to look at me.

The second he looked at me, I was already back to paying respect like he had previously. I knew it confused him, and that's precisely why I did it.

The next instant, I stood up from my kneeling position, took out a knife from my inventory, and stabbed it directly into the left side of his helmet.

[-72 (90)]

Blue blood gushed from the wound as I tried to dig as deep as I could with the surprise attack.

My build was mostly in speed, as I had no idea how strong the main boss of this dungeon would be as of now. My thought was that it would be best if I could have enough speed to be even with him.

The very next second...

"RAAHHHH!!!"

A voice didn't come from the armor, but the armor's spirit cried out. The singular glowing white eye turned red for only a second as the wind whipped by Dimoultion from his fast movement.

I was left stunned enough to stab Dimoultion in the face when he was almost double my height. It had been easy when he was kneeling, but now that he is standing, I am slowly falling through the air to the ground.

[-103]

I was punched in the face, hard. The force of the punch was visible through the air.

[-99]

Another punch hit and spun me around mid-air as my legs failed to touch any semblance of ground.

[-105]

A heavy punch to my stomach knocked the wind out of my lungs,

[-110]

another heavy punch to the face,

[-103]

only to slam me into the ground, which caused me to bounce back into the air.

I tried to scream out from the pain, but I couldn't breathe.

[-120]

Dimoultion pulled back his fist and slammed it into my stomach one last time, sending me flying through the air.

*BANG*

[-23]

I was slammed through a pillar, which slowed my pace by just a bit, but the second I blinked, Dimoultion was already in front of my face.

Both of his hands grabbed both of my arms as he violently jumped in the air with me as his unwilling partner.

As he spun in the air, he dragged me with him, and the second we were about to touch the ground,

[-152]

"AHHHHH!" I screamed as my spine was violently slammed against the black stone, causing cracks in the floor.

I once again bounced into the air, and Dimoultion didn't seem to like that as a punch slammed into my face so hard I saw black for a second.

[-135]

As my body once again broke against the reddish-black stone and bounced into the air, Dimoultion did a spinning roundhouse kick that landed right into my spine.

[-115]

*BANG*

[-26]

I landed first on the stone wall and was embedded in it. I couldn't feel my body from all the pain.

My eyes slowly began to refocus from the blurred vision I once had, and as they did, my eyes widened.

Dimoultion was in the air, right in front of my face. Time seemed to slow due to the fact that I felt death for the first time. Both of Dimoultion's feet were held together; it was a dropkick.

*BANG*

[-8]

[You have taken a fatal attack!]

[Activating: Unyielding Will]

[Activating: Well of Unfathomable Paths]

[You have become invulnerable for 5 seconds.]

[You have become able to see the future for 5 seconds.]

*WHOOSH*

A massive amount of air pressure was being released from my body. Dimoultion had been sent flying backward but flipped mid-air and landed on his feet.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, my white and black hair waving softly through the air.

Everything was so clear, I could see it! My eyes were still closed, yet I heard Dimoultion rush at me.

<Dimoultion goes in with two jabs to the face followed by a very telegraphed right hook that will be fainted into liver punch.>

Dimoultion ran in, both his fists close to his chest, and threw out a jab with his right arm.

My eyes fluttered open softly as I tilted my head to the right, allowing the punch to fly past me harmlessly.

Dimoultion pulled back his fist and went for a left jab, only for me to tilt my head to the left and just barely dodge it without any effort.

Pulling his fist back, Dimoultion went for the most telegraphed attack possible, which I made a false reaction to.

He then switched to his left hand and tried to hit me in the liver, only for me to turn around 180 degrees and backflip over the attack.

<Next, Dimoultion throws out a barrage of punches: left fist: nose, right chest, cheek, stomach, neck, forehead, and lastly, sweep from the legs.>

Dimoultion, seeing me jump over their attack, turned to face me as I turned to face him.

He threw a barrage of punches. The one going toward my nose, I effortlessly slipped under his arm; the punch to my chest, I flipped over; the punch to the cheek, I fully pushed myself parallel to the ground and slid under.

With the punch to the stomach, I rolled to the side. Standing up, I instantly crouched back down as a punch was sent to my neck.

Another punch was sent to my face, this time my forehead, and I jumped, spreading my legs outward as I used my arms to hold myself on Dimoultion's arm.

Flipping off of his arm, I landed on the ground, only for Dimoultion to try and instantly sweep me.

The second the sweep happened, I jumped backward.

<Dimoultion will try to rush you immediately. A punch come directly your face but turn into a grab.>

Dimoultion tried to rush me immediately, but the second he got close, I dodged to the side.

The punch that he had tried to hit me with turned into him trying to grab me, but I effectively jumped with a flip onto his arm and then planted both my feet on the sides of his helmet.

Holding onto the sides of his horns as I did so to not fall off, I pulled my knife out with my right hand and used his face as a stool to boost myself backward.

[-2.25 (3)]

[Your invulnerability has ended.]

[Your future sight has ended.]

Dimoultion tries to rush in again, but I notice that he's slower than before. He became way slower!

'His ability must have run out as my immortality did!' I thought with glee as a grin made its way to my face.

Dimoultion tried to fish for another punch in my face, but I quickly dodged it and jumped past it.

I try to land a roundhouse kick on his face, only for his forearm to come up and block the attack.

Dimoultion grabbed my leg and then tossed me across the room as if telling me to wipe my grin off my face.

The second I landed, I went into my inventory and took out one of my homemade health potions.

I felt the cool taste of cherry run down my throat as my body began healing.

[+ 2,000 (1,000)]

'Thank God any potions I make are twice as effective against me.' I thought with glee as I was back to full HP.

Dimoultion instantly noticed the change in my demeanor and rushed at me once again.

With a smirk, I pulled a Molotov from my inventory and threw it at him as hard and fast as I could.

I could tell he was surprised by this, and as it came at him, he moved his arm and swatted it away.

*Crash*

It broke on the ground, far away, but I still held my grin as I saw Dimoultion flinch. Behind the Molotov I threw was a knife!

Dimoultion turned his head sideways, and as the knife made contact, it ground against the side of his helmet before being sent flying away.

My smile grew wider as I ran toward Dimoultion. Yet, something was different about him; he was angrier.

Dimoultion came up with a kick that I jumped over. While I was in the air, I threw a kick of my own.

*BANG*

I felt the strength of his block as my leg made contact with it. He's not only slower, but weaker too!

'I can win this—what?' My thoughts paused as Dimoultion, with a quick burst of speed, caught my ankle.

"Oh shi—!" I didn't get to finish my sentence as I was rapidly spun in a circle at high speeds and thrown into a wall.

*BANG*

[-36]

"*Cough*" I coughed as my back was now planted on another wall.

'Oh shit!' I thought, as I remembered, that I was in a fight and held up a guard.

*CRASH*

[-42]

A hard punch from Dimoultion met my block the second I put my arms up to guard.

I was expecting another punch, but suddenly both my wrists were grabbed and pried apart.

Dimoultion's knee met my nose an instant later.

*CRACK*

[-159]

With my nose broken and my guard down, I felt a metal hand grab me by my neck.

The grab turned to near strangulation as I was ran through the wall. Dimoultion ran while dragging me, who was embedded in said wall, with him.

[-15]

[-16]

[-14]

[-15]

Maybe Dimoultion felt it wasn't enough, as suddenly he stopped dragging me through the wall, grabbed one of my legs, and flung me to the other side of the room.

*BANG*

[-73]

That one hurt, and with rubble falling from parts of the wall I crashed into, I knew it was only a taste of the pain I would get if I didn't start locking in.

I tried to remove myself from the wall, but as I did...

*BANG*

[-304]

Dimoultion slammed into me; it hurt so badly that I couldn't even breathe and felt my eyes nearly rolling up in my head.

He had landed another dropkick, but I didn't have my immortality to save me from the pain.

Putting my hands against the wall, I tried to use my transmutation, but the second Dimoultion saw me moving my hands, he grabbed both of my wrists.

From my wrist, Dimoultion pulled me out of the rubble like a toddler who was throwing a tantrum. Due to the height difference, I was left dangling in the air with my feet unable to touch the ground.

The next second...

[-156]

My stomach felt like it was on fire as Dimoultion's knee found itself lodged in it. I felt light-headed and couldn't think straight as Dimoultion grabbed me by my chest piece.

He quickly turned, spun, and slammed me into the ground, only to start dragging me through the ground like I was some massive stick a dog had found.

[-32]

[-23]

[-15]

As he ran me through the ground, my right hand made contact with the stone and set up a magnetic attraction zone. I then made contact with Dimoultion and activated the field.

This should have slowed him down, but if it was, then he sure as hell wasn't showing it.

My left hand made contact with the ground after that, and in front of Dimoultion, a stone spear appeared, and I tried to stab him through his already fucked-up eye.

[-2.25 (3)]

The tip of the spear only touched his messed-up eye, but it was enough of a distraction to stop me from being dragged through the ground, as Dimoultion had stopped in his tracks.

Dimoultion looked at me weirdly as his fist clenched, and he tried to gain a better hold on me.

Seeing my chance for escape, I moved my legs and kicked his arm before it could close for a better hold.

I quickly stood up to my feet and ran a bit away. Due to our speed difference, I was pretty sure I was faster than him by a bit.

I quickly took out two potions and began chugging them.

My eyes widened as Dimoultion had already appeared in front of me. He had his fist pulled back.

"EURGH!" My mouth ballooned as I tried to keep both potions in my mouth, even though I had been punched in the stomach.

I was trying so hard that I didn't see Dimoultion's leg coming my way. I tripped because of the sweep and began falling backward.

Dimoultion took advantage of the situation and pulled his fist back once more. His fist slammed into my chest as I was falling to the ground.

*CRACK*

The ground cracked as I slammed into it, and I could tell the healing potion was trying to fight for its life, but I just couldn't hold it.

"KHA—" As I spit up the potions, Dimoultion covered my mouth with his hand so that it would splash anywhere near his face.

I could feel myself softly chewing on my cheeks rapidly, and that was because the second potion I had put in my mouth was a potion of itching.

[+1,000 (500)]

[Temporary Effect Gained: Itchy+.]

Thank God my potions were two times effective against me, but why the fuck were my potions two times effective against me?!

'Lords Equivalent Exchange!' I thought with desperation. 'Temporarily exchange all status points for an equivalent number of dexterity and strength points for three seconds!'

"One." My hand grabbed Dimoultion's wrist and squeezed. He looked surprised, as my strength wasn't my main attribute.

"Two," I said as I quickly stood upright. Dimoultion tried to throw a punch at me the second I was finished standing.

I dodged the punch with ease and broke into his guard. Extending my leg, I kicked hard.

*BANG*

Dimoultion was sent flying backward but once again flipped mid-air and landed on his feet. The damage dealt to him was negligible.

"Three." I felt myself become weaker upon saying three.

Bringing my left hand up to the back of my neck, I touched the magic circle that was there.

'TR: ES.' I thought as I put mana into the magic circle while keeping my hand on the back of my neck.

This was a prized possession that I made long ago. I call it "The Database." It allows me to automatically load and look up any magic circle I have saved in it using shortcode names.

The transmutation circle I had just gotten was called "Transmutation: Earth Swords," as it was different from Transmutation: Earth.

Placing my left hand on the ground, I activated my transmutation circle. Immediately, five earthen swords began being made from the ground and flew into the air.

Activating the circle again, the swords quickly flew toward Dimoultion. The living armor was definitely surprised by this, as the swords hit right on the money.

 [-37.5 (50)]

[-35.25 (47)]

[-36.75 (49)]

[-19.5 (26)]

[-24 (32)]

Transmutation: Earth Swords combines Transmutation: Earth and Transmutation: Compressed Air to allow the swords to fly and move.

By activating the circle the first time, I would summon the swords and make them float, and the second activation would allow them to chase targets.

I activated the circle four more times as I chugged a mana potion.

[+ 1,900 (950)]

I saw Dimoultion trying to dodge the earth swords, but he couldn't dodge them all.

[-30.75 (41)]

The second that sword hit him, I prayed for my chance. While Dimoultion was distracted by dodging the swords, I snuck an itching potion in with the barrage of the swords.

It was directly behind the sword that just hit him!

The potion made its way to Dimoultion's face, but right as it was about to crash against him...

*Catch*

He caught it. I knew he knew it wasn't a health potion, and since I threw it at him, he also should know it was a bad potion.

Putting my left hand to the back of my neck, I searched for another circle. 'TR: IM.'

I then placed my hand on the floor as Dimoultion once again tried to close the distance.

Activating the mana circle, I watched as the area around Dimoultion got dark, and right as Dimoultion noticed the darkness around him, he looked up, but it was already too late.

*BANG*

'I cast the Iron Maiden!' I thought as the Iron Maiden fell on Dimoultion. Quickly, I activated the magic circle again, and the Iron Maiden closed around Dimoultion.

[-846 (1,128)]

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

The Iron Maiden was broken open by Dimoultion, who crawled out of it. Lying on the ground near motionlessness.

I wasn't going to fall for any tricks, so I decided to stay back and watch what he did.

Slowly, Dimoultion began to rise with newfound willpower. A large black sword with a golden edge flew into his hand. It was the sword he dropped when I first stabbed him.

Flinching due to the itching potion, Dimoultion stood tall, lifted the sword, swung it to the side, flicked it with a turn of the handle, and confidently pointed it at me.

Once again, he rushed at me, yet I didn't know if I could deal with the sword.

Holding my hand to the back of my neck, I thought. 'TR: CR.'

Rushing forward, I strained my mind as Dimoultion's first swing came. Barely timing it correctly, I jumped over the sword and touched it with my left hand.

The magic circle activated, but I knew it didn't work; that sword wasn't normal; it was living.

Opening my inventory, I take out an item and throw it at Dimoultion. Due to being behind him, by the time I threw the item, it landed on his chest because he turned around.

It was a Skulk skull. I may or may not have placed a bomb in it...

*BOOM*

 [-25.5 (34)]

Alright, so I did, in fact, place a bomb in there...

While Dimoultion was distracted, I chugged a mana potion.

[+1,900 (950)]

After that, the black fog of the bomb was cleared with a wave of Dimoultion's sword, but I rushed in any way.

'Lord's Equivalent Exchange.' I thought once again as I rushed in. 'Temporarily exchange all the points I have in arcane, intelligence, and endurance for points in strength.'

A swing of Dimoultion's sword was coming at me, and I tried to jump over it again, but I think he caught on from the last time I tried, as my left leg was cut off from almost up to the knee.

[-154]

I didn't care as I made my way to Dimoultion's helmet and started pulling from opposite directions as my leg wrapped around his neck.

[-3.75 (5)]

[-3.75 (5)]

[-3.75 (5)]

[-3.75 (5)]

As I was pulling, I felt a hand grab me and try to rip me off of his face, but once I'm stuck in, not even God can pull me out.

*Cr-crrr*

[-39 (52)]

A crack developed, running down near the middle of the helmet.

"Fuck it!" I screamed out as I temporarily traded all my status points in for dexterity and vitality.

Opening my inventory, I took out three canisters of mustard gas and tried to push them into the helmet.

I wasn't very successful, as only a bit got in, and I don't know if it did any real damage, but I can say I was a smart man for turning away the moment I did it.

Dimoultion pulled me off of him, and as he did so, I took a Molotov from my inventory and tried to throw it at him, only for him to change the position of how he was holding me.

Flicking his sword to blow away the mustard gas, he now had me held by my right hand, which was holding the Molotov.

Quickly holding my left hand up to my neck, I thought once more. 'TR: CA.'

Forming an index and middle finger gun, I pointed it at Dimoultion. "Compression."

A massive blast of air pushed both of us toward opposite sides of the room right after I finished saying that word.

The second I landed on the ground, I tried to stop my momentum and drink a health potion.

As I finished chugging the vial, I realized that my leg wasn't instantly back. It was taking time to regenerate.

[+2,000 (1,000)]

I tried to stand, but as I did, I looked to where Dimoultion was, and instead of rushing me, he was trying to fully pierce through me like a lancer.

Even if I tried to dodge with one leg, he was sure to hit me. Instead, I spread my arms wide, temporarily exchanged all my status points into vitality, dexterity, and strength points, and decided to take the hit.

*SHR—BANG*

[-1,373]

I was run straight through the stomach, and the sword was deeply embedded into the wall. I couldn't feel my legs.

My eyes widened as I saw Dimoultion with his fist pulled back. With adrenaline circulating through my body at an all-time high and the threat of actually dying looming over me, I took another skull bomb from my inventory and threw it.

Unlike people when they see a bomb, Dimoultion didn't run and instead only got closer.

"Fuck!" I screamed as I covered my face with my arms.

[-97]

[-37.5 (50)]

Before the smoke could even fully clear, I was trying to get out another skull bomb and a potion.

The second I did, the smoke was cleared by a wave of Dimoultion's hand. In my right hand was the bomb, and in my left was the healing potion.

I threw the bomb at Dimoultion, who simply swatted it as my eyes widened. 'He saw through it.' I thought as Dimoultion seemingly saw through the fake bomb.

Right as I was about to chug the potion, Dimoultion snatched it from my hands.

I was stunned for a second, as I didn't expect him to even try to heal. As the liquid ran down into his armored helmet, I saw the crack on his helmet heal along with his eyes.

I quickly held my arms up to block as Dimoultion began laying in punches with newfound vigor.

[-32]

[-37]

[-43]

[-52]

He was getting stronger and faster somehow. I couldn't take any more of this; if I didn't do something, I would die.

'Lord's Equivalent Exchange. Temporarily exchange 35 points in strength for 35 points in intelligence.' I thought in desperation. The second I got it off, my right hand touched his sword and activated the magic circle.

I reactivated the pulling effect on Dimoultion himself and then put an attraction field on my top half.

The second Dimoultion pulled back his fist for another punch, I connected my top half's attraction force to the magnetic field I placed on the ground when Dimoultion was dragging me around.

[-700]

[You have taken a fatal attack!]

Ignoring the message, I instantly grabbed a potion from my inventory as my vision was blurring. My body's top half being flung away to the probable confusion of my enemy allowed me to drink it.

[+2,000 (1,000)]

I felt my body healing as my vision became less blurry. I took another mana potion out, returned my status to its original state, and then drank it.

[+1,900 (950)]

My pants and boots were gone, and so were their status boosts. As my legs were growing back in, I turned my head to Dimoultion, who seemed to now be rushing me without his sword.

'TR: UA.' I thought as I held my left hand to my neck and activated the transmission circle.

I once again placed my left hand on the ground, activated the transmission circle, and then put my left hand on my neck once again.

Dimoultion's sword flew from the wall, and as Dimoultion ran, he slowed down and caught the sword, only to speed back up once it was in hand.

'TR: CA.' I thought as I activated the transmutation circle on my neck.

Placing my index and middle fingers back in the finger gun gesture, I pointed it at the ground behind me and activated the transmutation circle.

The compressed air behind me sent me flying forward toward Dimoultion as my legs healed. Seeing me flying through the air, Dimoultion sped up.

Suddenly, Dimoultion's leg was caught by something. It was a skeletal hand made from the stone below him, and more skeletal hands were popping up to grab him.

As I got close, I pointed my finger gun toward Dimoultion, who was solely focused on me.

"Just kidding!" I said with a grin as I activated the transmutation circle to blast me backward, right as Dimoultion swung his sword to hit me.

The sword grazed me for just a moment and a line of blood was made on my stomach right as I was blasted back.

[-1]

As soon as I landed on the ground, I stopped my momentum and put my left hand to my neck once more.

Placing my left hand on the ground, I activate the transmutation circle two times.

The second it activates, a golem spawns in front of me, made from the stone floor that I was currently crawling on.

It was an exact copy of Dimoultion, and it even had his sword!

"Out of respect for you, Dimoultion, I have created a statue to honor you, a warrior that has fallen in battle!" I said as an insane smile grew on my face.

Between myself and Dimoultion was the statue, but due to the height of the statue, I could see Dimoultion momentarily freeze in place before quickly breaking all the skeletal hands and trying to rush me.

He completely ignored the statue, as I thought he would, and tried to rush directly past it and to me.

The second he got past the statue, his momentum was killed as a massive drill formed in front of me, and because I had time to change my transmutation circle once more, I was able to use compressed air to make it spin fast.

Dimoultion immediately jumped backward and into the air with his sword.

'I don't think so fucker! You're fucked!' I thought as I activated both the magnetic attraction fields on the sword and Dimoultion.

The sword was attracted to the floor behind Dimoultion while a massive amount of attraction force was placed on the drill, and Dimoultion was quickly attracted to its pull.

I chugged another healing potion as my feet regrew quicker.

[+2,000 (1,000)]

The sword flew from Dimoultion's hand and onto the floor. Dimoultion was promptly pulled into the drill.

*SHHHRRIIIII*

The sound of metal grinding against a cutting force was heard. Dimoultion's stomach and hands met the drill as he tried to push against it.

[-17.25 (23)]

[-17.25 (23)]

[-17.25 (23)]

[-17.25 (23)]

[-17.25 (23)]

Using my mana strings, I controlled the golem I made to attack Dimoultion. The second the sword made contact with the living armor's body, it met the clause.

[-17.25 (23)]

The clause was as follows: If the sword touches anything that isn't the body of the golem, it will turn into chains.

[-17.25 (23)]

The sword quickly turned into chains, and I, using mana strings, made the golem pull back Dimoultion's hands.

[-17.25 (23)]

'He was a tough opponent.' I thought as I held my left hand to my neck and activated the circle. 'But I just have one thing I want to tell him...'

The drill promptly lost power as Dimoultion flung it away.

Pulling my fist back, I temporarily exchanged all my stats and put them in strength, dexterity, and intelligence.

"Stay down, motherfucker!" I screamed as my fist made contact with Dimoultion as fast as I could make it go.

 [-343.7 (491)]

Reddish-black lightning cascaded off the armor and my fist as I continued to drive it into Dimoultion's stomach.

"AHHHHHH!!" I screamed as I applied more and more power to the magic circle to make it continue outputting until it reached a critical point.

'This is enough!' I thought as the lightning grew unstable.

The lightning exploded against the body of Dimoultion and sent him flying into the wall.

As the smoke cleared, I saw him lying there, unmoving. Yet I still hadn't gotten the experience for it, meaning he was alive and I had to finish the job.

Returning my status points to normal, the fatigue I was building was quickly washed away as I began walking over to the downed knight.

With my cock and balls quite literally free and my bottom half feeling a little chilly, I would have to grab my other bottom half's clothes before leaving.

When I got to Dimoultion, I pulled out a dagger from my inventory. Holding the side of the helmet with my left hand and with my knife in my right, I pulled back my right hand.

"That is enough."

I immediately froze as a deep and masculine voice came from behind me.

Quickly turning around with my heart ready to leap out of my chest, I flicked the knife in between my fingers, held it in a reverse grip, and swung it hard.

My eyes widened as I realized nobody was behind me; in fact, the voice I heard came from somewhere else.

Turning toward where the throne was, my PTSD rose as I began hyperventilating. It was him—the one I had come to fight and had prepared so much for.

I can still see the day clearly, my vision overlapping with my memories. Two versions of him appeared, but the status sheet I saw about him stayed the same.

There were two of them in my vision; the first one was a dimmer tone of blue, with his singular eye being a mixture of four different colors: blue, pink, red, and green. His hair color changed to a bright white.

Daemonic horns growing from his forehead and pointing forward, a crown floated above his head with his pitch-black armor bearing the symbol of chaos undivided.

The second one was brighter, with his singular eye being blue and his hair still pink.

Quickly they merged into one, images overlapping; it was truly him; it was...

Boros.
