Confusion and Fear
Seraphine POV;
I felt myself waking up, my eyelids fluttered open, and I focused my vision at the ceiling, I slowly sat up shaking my head.
"What happened?" I said to myself,
A stuffed lion cub is beside me "what a cute stuffed animal" I said stroking it, I froze when it
"Oh, Shit!" I cursed, slowly inching away from it standing up then running away from it.
I exited the room I was in and found myself in a living room but someone suddenly came inside, and I froze looking at the people with suspicion.
"W-Where am I?"
"...Seraphine"
I stepped back when he approached. I don't know these people and where am I?!
"Who the hell are you, people?!" I shouted
"Seraphine it's me, Lucianus your brother" Even if he introduced himself I still don't know him
"Brother?" I scoffed "I don't remember having a brother" I spat "you better tell me where I am or else I'm going to scream for help"
"But Seraphine it's the truth-"
Just then two bulky tall men entered the room they looked like knights of some sort.
"Her royal highness must come with us to the Sun Palace"
"She is NOT going anywhere!" the man who told me he was my brother shouted
"Our orders are with the Emperor crowned prince like it or not she will come with us"
While they were at each other's throats I quietly fled escaping the scene, I went down the hall and the stairs rushing to go outside people looked at me curiously while I was escaping the building.
When I exited the Building I looked around, unfamiliar things popped in front of me. It was like I was back in time in the '80s or more?
I looked around, the buildings looked old and at the same time brand new, the dresses of people were like the Victorian Era. I was very confused about what was going on.
"Look out!" Someone shouted
I was almost trampled by hooves of horses! I fell on my butt with a thump the coachman glared at me.
"Why the hell are you standing in the middle of the road looking stupid and lost?"
I AM Lost!
"I apologize for that!" Someone suddenly grabbed my arm and helped me up
"She's a bit confused is all"
"Well you better watch it the least anyone wants is a dead body on the road"
The coachman scolded the man pulled me to the side and the carriage drove away.
"Y-Your that man with the other guy who claims that he's my brother," I said
"I am doctor Edgar your highness" he introduced letting me go
"Hey look! What's that?!" I shouted he immediately looked at where I was pointing, and I ran as fast as I can.
A tall man with white hair and golden eyes like that isn't normal! and how did he follow me like that?
I wandered around trying to look at my surroundings if I was familiar to the place but sadly I can't recognize anything.
"Am I still in Europe?" I asked myself lost in thought "Or maybe in Manchester? I don't recognize anything or anyone" I said
Going to an alleyway sighing I bumped into someone since I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.
"Sorry," I said looking up.
A hooded figure looked up, and I saw his face, but the most notable thing was his eyes it was gold and slits, I froze my eyes widening, his pupils suddenly dilated and then a minute later it turned into slits again a smirk suddenly formed from their lips.
"Uh..." I uttered out.
"Princess!" I looked to where the voice was "there you are!" The man named doctor Edgar ran towards me the lion cub from earlier is on his shoulder.
"Huh?" I looked at the hooded man again, and he was gone
"For someone who was ill a couple of days ago you are one pretty lively patient," he says with a small smile
"I was ill?" I tilt my head.
"You were ill yes" he nods "now then" he was going to do something when I ran away from him again"
"No way in hell am I trusting that guy"
"Ha..." Doctor Edgar sighs "well exercise is good for a human's body"
When I was in the street again I looked for someone to ask for help, people were looking at me with curiosity. I know I'm ugly! No need to look like that.
"Excuse me"
"Yes, dear?" A woman sitting on her porch finally answered me, not just looking like I'm someone from another dimension.
"Can I ask you where this place is?"
"You are in the town of Palm, my dear"
"T-Town of Palm? Where is that in the U.K.?"
"U.K.?" She tilts her head raising a brow
"What country is this?"
"Country?" She looked puzzled
"Yes, countries like um... Europe, or Asia!"
"I don't understand that word dear, I'm sorry"
"Dammit!" I cursed.
"You seem lost..."
"I-I am lost" I felt like crying "I don't know where I am"
"Why don't you come in for a cup of cocoa?" She offered.
"I...um" She was a stranger, but she looked nice.
"I'm sorry" I jump at the sudden voice "but she cannot come in, for your cocoa, she's with me, and she's just confused"
"You're a royal doctor!" The woman exclaimed
"Yes I am and this is my patient" He smiled
"I'm done being your patient!" I told him
"Stop being feisty and come back to the Headquarters"
"No! This man kidnapped me!" I shouted people were now looking at us
"No, I did not" The doctor looked tired the lion cub suddenly flew towards me, I quickly dodge it.
"I-Is that a little holy beast?!" The woman jumped on her feet.
"Holy what now?"
"T-Then!" She bowed "I apologize for being rude to you!
"H-Huh?"
"Oh. Dear."
"Another royal is here? She's royalty?" The onlookers whispered
"No! No!" The doctor grabbed my hand "she's just a patient who's lost and confused. She had her exercise so she needs to return"
"But that is an offspring of a holy beast?"
"It's..."
The doctor groaned and lifted his glasses and his eyes glowed.
"Every one of you here did not hear or see anything" his voice echoed I don't know how he's doing that "you will forget everything you saw today regarding of a little holy beast and a royal"
"What the?" The eyes of the people also glowed a gold colour, it's like the glow from the doctors' eyes passed to them.
"We understand..." They all said in unison they were like zombies.
"And as for you", he turned to me his eyes reflecting my blue orbs "rest and go to sleep"
My body suddenly felt heavy, my eyelids drooping and my body went limp, he caught men in his arms when I fell forward, I slowly closed my eyes and let sleep envelop me.
