Forgotten memories of the past

First memory: The Accident

It was a beautiful cold summer night. Lucas was driving his car home from a long week's vacation. His wife, Emma, and their two children, Elliott and Lily, were in the back seat, sleeping peacefully after spending a tiring day at the amusement park.

"Darling, you enjoyed this week with the kids," Lucas spoke in a loving tone.

"Of course dear, this was an unforgettable week for me because I got to see the smiles of our children," Emma replied to Lucas with a beautiful motherly smile as she recalled the happy faces of her children at the amusement park.

"hehehehe~...since you had fun why don't we both have fun when we get home" Lucas whispered softly in his wife's ear.

Emma blushes like a tomato hearing her husband's whisper.

"Beautiful~....!" Lucas said as he looked at his wife blushing like a tomato.

"Idiot!" Emma said with a pout as she slapped Lucas' shoulder.

"Hahahahahahahahaha!" Lucas starts laughing as he looks at his wife's cute outbursts.

Lucas and Emma continued to flirt on their way home after a long week of vacation.

Suddenly, a sports car speeding in the opposite lane lost control and collided head-on with Lucas' car.

CRASH!!!!!

The impact was so hard that the car flipped over several times before coming to a stop.

"Mom..., Dad..., Sis..."

Elliott spoke nervously as he looked to the side, unable to move and in shock. His parents and sister were severely injured and unconscious due to the loud crash.

"Mom!...Dad!...Lily!...please wake up...wake up" Elliott said scared with tears in his eyes trying to wake up his parents.

A few minutes passed after the accident and in the distance, they began to hear siren sounds.

¡uuuuh, uuuuh!;¡niinoo, niinoo! ¡uuuuh, uuuuh!;¡niinoo, niinoo! ¡uuuuh, uuuuh!;¡niinoo, niinoo!

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and transported the injured to the nearest hospital.

...….

"Hey...why am I crying," Elliott says after feeling a tear fall down his cheek at the sight of the mirror, But what did I just see? I didn't know he had a little sister.

The mysterious voice echoed in the room again, "Looks like you still have a human side."

'Shit what is this because I can't move or use my powers, and what is it that I'm seeing are memory or is it some illusion...'

Elliott was lost in his thoughts because of what he just saw and didn't realize that the mirror image was changing again.

Soon what the mirror was showing changed completely.

...

Second memory: At The Hospital

Elliott was the first to regain consciousness. As he waited in the hospital waiting room, he trembled with fear and worry. He had survived the accident, but what would happen to the rest of his family?

"Doctor, how are my parents?" Elliott asked very worriedly.

Finally, the doctor arrived with news. Emma and Lucas suffered serious injuries and were in intensive care. Although they were stable, their prognosis was uncertain. Lily had suffered a brain injury and was in a coma.

"What!"

Elliott collapsed, right in the waiting room. He couldn't believe what was happening. His family, was on the edge of his life.

Third memory: In Hope

Days passed and Elliott remained at the bedside of his parents and sisters. Doctors were doing everything they could to save them, but there was no guarantee they would survive.

Meanwhile, his sister Lily remained unconscious and hooked up to various medical devices. Elliott had no idea what was going on in the hospital.

Eventually, his father began to improve and woke up. To Elliott's relief, he began to recover from his injuries. Mother also began to slowly improve. However, the news about his sister was still bad. A few days later, doctors informed the parents that Lily's brain injury was irreversible; her days were numbered.

Fourth memory: The loss

Finally, little Lily died surrounded by her family. Elliott was devastated by the loss of his sister. He had lost a part of his life and could not handle the pain. Emma and Lucas were equally shocked but tried to help Elliott cope with the tragedy.

After a few months, Emma and Lucas fully recovered from their injuries and would be able to return home. Elliott, however, remained mired in grief over the loss of Lily. Life would never be the same for him again.

Last memory: Trauma.

Elliott watched sadly from the car window as his mother drove away. He left her at the door of St. Mary's Orphanage and drove away without looking back. Elliott felt a lump in his throat and let a tear fall.

He couldn't remember why his mother left him there, but he did remember how the night before she had hugged him tight as she told him how much she loved him. "I love you, Elliott. I will always love you," she had told him. Now, however, he was alone in a strange place with strangers.

They welcomed him with open arms and took him to a room where he shared a bunk with other children. Elliott felt uncomfortable and scared, but he knew he had to adjust.

The first few days were hard. He missed his home, his room, and his bed. And what he missed most was his mother. He never understood why she had left him there, but he knew he had to accept it. He learned to cook, wash his clothes, and make his bed. He learned to get along with his classmates, even though some were cruel and made him feel bad.

One day Elliott received the news that his parents had died in a car accident, when he heard the news Elliott was devastated for a few days by the loss of his parents.

But he recovered thanks to the support of the Nun, owner of the place, who from time to time had free time to take care of the children of the orphanage. And so she continued with her life in the orphanage.

Shortly after the news of the death of his parents, Elliott began to be a victim of "abuse". Since then Elliott suffered repeated injuries. Some of them with a "special form of cruelty".

The two women besides the nun who cared for the children in the orphanage hid the terrible injuries on Elliott's body until the day he escaped.

Before escaping from the orphanage, Elliott suffered seven bruises, two abrasions, and multiple external and internal injuries to his face, head, chest, abdomen, genitals, arms, heart, lungs, intestines, liver, and skull.

These signs of extreme violence were not new to the orphanage caretakers as they also did this to some of the children in the orphanage.

But there was one thing that terrified him more than anything else: the nights. The orphanage was dark and gloomy, with long, scary corridors. The children said there were ghosts lurking around, and that didn't help Elliott sleep. One night, as he lay in his bed, he heard a noise that made him jump off the mattress. He froze as he saw a hooded figure in front of his bed. Elliott screamed in terror, but no one came to his aid. The figure approached him and dragged him out of his room, holding him tightly. Elliott tried to struggle, but he was too weak. The figure took him into a dark room, where he left him alone.

Elliott was so frightened that he dared not move. He didn't know who the hooded man had been, but what he did know was that he never wanted to go through that again. He couldn't sleep all night, and from then on he made sure to close all the windows and put on double pajamas before bed.

That night was forever marked in Elliott's memory.

Because of that he ran away from the orphanage and started living on the streets due to that trauma until he died at the hands of a climber.

....

'I didn't know about these memories... so these were the fuzzy memories that I couldn't remember when I was reincarnated in this body. But I didn't know that Elliott had suffered so much shit since he was a kid, but why didn't I know about those memories, when I reincarnated in this body I only had memories since he started living on the streets', He thought as he looked at the memories that were hidden deep inside Elliott's soul.

After the memories ended the whole room returned to normal, and the mirror was once again reflecting the image of the current Elliott as if what happened a few seconds ago was never past.

"Damn it!" Elliott couldn't help but let out a curse, as he processed everything he had seen about the memories of the owner of this body he didn't have before.

"Well, have I passed your test yet!", Elliott shouted into the room waiting for an answer.

The mysterious voice echoed in the room "It seems you have a pretty strong mind to be so calm despite seeing your most hidden memories in your soul".

'Of course, I'm calm, to begin with, those memories weren't mine to begin with' Elliott thought as he heard what the mysterious voice said.

"And well I passed the test."

"Yes, you passed the test by not pouring affected by your past."

"And one question that would be passed if I were to fail the test"

The mysterious voice replied neutrally " Your soul would have been destroyed instantly"

Elliott shuddered to hear the answer, Good thing it wasn't my memories.

And at that moment the notification appeared...

[You have cleared the top floor of the Abandoned Tower of Morgrath]

[You have completed the hidden mission]

[You will be transported out of the tower at once].

Around Elliott began to fire every time a block passes.
