Chapter 58

The tranquil silence of the night was shattered by a sudden clamor. A startling noise echoed, piercing through the silence, like a lumberjack's axe cleaving through the stillness of the woods.

"Ugh! Buwaaak! Buwaaak!" 

Nestled in their sleep, as peaceful as the logs floating in the calm lake, the group of startled beastmen abruptly opened their eyes at the break of dawn. Rousing them from slumber as if a storm had disturbed their serene waters.

As the first light of dawn painted the sky, the troubled faces of the crowd came to light, as they huddled together surrounding the retching individual.

Like a flock of birds stirred by the rustle of leaves, they rushed to that person's side with their hearts pounding in unison. Filled with concern and anticipation as they all eagerly awaited the arrival of the stork to finally grace their home.
