As dawn broke the next day, Atasha stirred from her sleep and sat up on the bed in difficulty, weary from the previous day's exertions.

"Nghh…!"

A deep yawn escaped her wide-open lips, that could fit a baby's head, as she rubbed her drowsy eyes before slapping her cheeks lightly to shake off the remnants of sleep.

She stretched her limbs and back languidly and could certainly feel every thread of her muscles protesting for waking up so early. 

Despite the allure of the warm bed, she knew she had responsibilities waiting. The aftermath of yesterday's gathering was still evident in the kitchen.

While the men in her family are all hardworking, they also have this inexplicable aversion to dishwashing. So, if she didn't rise and shine, they'd be left with no utensils for their meals, and hunger would be an unwelcome guest. 

Though she loves her sleep, Atasha loves her food best! And the same is true for her kids.
