ch 1 - dazed and confused pt 3

The class went on like normal, the teacher asking them questions as he lectures.

It's now afternoon, and time for their taijutsu sparring practice. The teacher called out the names of the kids that would be facing each other before calling them to the front. He didn't listen to the lineups because he wouldn't watch them anyways. He just prompted to lean on the wall and close his eyes.

But his peace was once again interrupted by something, or rather someone that he wanted to avoid at the moment, because of how obnoxious he was on Navi's memories.

" I'm gonna show you your place when I get lined up with you!" he heard the voice of kiba snarling beside him. He ignored him and kiba added, even more annoyed " you think you're big shot now huh? Idiot? Just you wait."

"Inuzuka kiba and uzumaki Naruto."

When they heard that, they had two very different reactions. Kiba sent him a feral grin, with his slightly longer than normal canines,showing. While Naruto just sighed, too tired to banter with kiba because of his lack of sleep.

"Are you ready to eat dirt, uzumaki?" Kiba asked.

"Let's just get this over with. "Naruto replied, stepping forward to the ring. He has more important things to do than argue with a kid, the faster he finishes this the sooner he'd get to go home, seeing as this is the last of their classes for today.

'go home, make something to eat, take a nap, and meditate. Maybe meditation would help with this memory issue of mine.' he listed the things he'd do after this class.

Kiba followed and they both reached the centre of the ring. Facing each other, a few feet apart, the teacher called to them. "Are you both ready?" They both nodded but only kiba shouted a loud" YES!"

"THE MATCH ENDS WHEN EITHER OF YOU SURRENDERED, STEPPED OUT OF BOUNDS OR GET KNOCKED OUT!"they both formed the seal of confrontation before they both got in their stance, kiba with his clan taijutsu stance and Naruto in a taekwondo fighting stance that he remembered from Navi's memories, with his body facing side while looking forward at kiba, his legs slightly bent to lower his posture and his arms raised in a protective manner.

Navi started practicing taekwondo when he was 15 and managed to get to red belt before he died. He won a few gold medals from local tournaments and a silver in the nationals.

With Naruto's high stamina while still being a child and Navi's memories. Fighting kiba would be nothing short of easy.

the teacher sent him a questioning look, not recognizing the stance but just shrugged it off moments later. He started counting down to three to start their spar.

"3! 2! 1!.. go!"

Kiba started by dashing towards the blonde with impressive speed for a kid while Naruto just stood there, waiting for kiba to close the distance, the moment he got close to Naruto he reared his left arm to send a punch that Naruto dodged by sliding to his right.

Naruto, after dodging kiba's strike, sent a roundhouse kick that connected to the side of kiba's head, the kick made kiba stumble backwards before recomposing himself and looking at Naruto with a snarl.

He dashed again but this time Naruto didn't just dodge his attacks, he blocked them while redirecting them to the side not attacking even a single time. The worst thing for kiba was seeing the sleepy expression on Naruto's face that he mistook for boredom.

Thinking that he was being underestimated and his pride not

allowing it, he shouted at Naruto " fight me seriously loser!"

He started sending a flurry of swipes and punches to Naruto again and this time one managed to slip past his defense and hit him square in the jaw, completely knocking his sleepiness off him.

Kiba smirked thinking that his opponent will finally take him seriously.

'that actually hurts, ow' Naruto thought while massaging his aching jaw. He got on his stance again and met kiba with a dash kiba sent him another powerful strike from his right and Naruto ducked through it and twisted his upper body away from kiba before replying with the taekwondo version of horse kick that managed knock kiba outside the circle.

Not realizing that he was out of the ring, kiba prepared to charge forward again but was interrupted by the teacher shouting" WINNER BY RING OUT, UZUMAKI NARUTO!"

"WHAT?!" kiba looked down and saw that he was out of the ring he looked at Naruto perplexed.

He just got defeated by the supposed class loser and without much effort too, for that matter.

Even though he hasn't fought Naruto in a spar yet, he concluded that he was better based on the fights the blond had. He always lost to Sasuke and barely won against the civilian kids, that's why he was so sure that he would win in their fight.

Get to the centre and do the seal of reconciliation you two." The teacher instructed.

Kiba stood up and begrudgingly walked to the centre as instructed, a sneer plastered on his face, directed to Naruto.while Naruto walked with the sleepy expression, back on his face.

'yeah he's a sore loser' Naruto added in his mind.

"You just got lucky! I'm gonna win next time uzumaki, get that?" Kiba said while looking at Naruto, and Naruto replied " yeah yeah, but just so you know, I wasn't underestimating you, my expression was like that because I only had a few hours of sleep."

"I don't care! I'm still gonna beat you next time! I'm gonna smash your head into the ground next time!" Kiba added before doing the seal of reconciliation with Naruto. a snarl on his face was visible and he's projecting a huge amount of negative emotions. it was clear that he's mad that he just got shown by the supposed class loser in front of everyone like he was nothing. After that, they both went to the side to watch the next fights.

A few more fights happened before their class concluded and their teacher dismissed them.

With school done, Naruto then went on his way to his house, making sure not to get sidetracked again like he did earlier, while making a mental list of things that he would be doing after his memory problems were settled.

'too many things to think about' *sigh*
