you'll be fine honey" Mom said again hugging me like the hundredth in the last ten minutes.

"I know Mom, but couldn't u have just said no?" Mom shook her head, smiling sadly.

"Your parents wouldn't relent" I understood what she meant. They seemed like the kind of people you'd better oblige while they were asking nicely.

"They haven't seen you in seven years Mikael" she stressed bringing me back from my reverie.

"And besides it's only for two months, then you get to decide who you want to stay with" she said and I nodded

"I can decide now.."

"Mikael give them a chance okay, it would only be fair." A bit of silence and I breathed

"Sure"

"Great..who knows? you'll make new friends"

"I doubt that"

"Oh baby.. you'll be fine" And she hugged me once more. I didn't say anything more, just let everything flow.
