CHAPTER 18

　　Paying the taxi driver, She helped herself down from the car. Because of how pissed Mia was, She had absolutely no time to admire her surroundings. She walked into the luxurious building and approached the receptionist.

　　"Good afternoon. I'm here to see Colton Royal."?

　　"Good afternoon, Ma'am. Your name, please?" The blondie said politely.

　　"Mia Edwards." She replied immediately.

　　After typing a couple of things on her computer, She replied. "I'm sorry ma'am, your name is not among the list of people he has an appointment with today so you can't see him."?

　　Mia sighed internally. "This is urgent. Please can you call him and let him know Mia Edwards is here to see him?"

　　The receptionist shook her head. "I'm sorry I can't. I'm only allowed to grant entry to people with appointments."

　　"I promise you, ma'am, this is urgent. Literally a matter of life and death." Mia said, she couldn't afford to go back without seeing Colt, the liar.
