"Oh no." Belle shook her head immediately. "I do not want to get a reading." She forced a nervous smile at the young woman.

"It doesn't cost a lot; fine, miss. Only a penny." She said it persuasively.

Belle fished her dress pocket for a penny and said, "You can have the penny; I do not still want a reading."

Belle watched the woman study her shortly before taking the money. "Are you scared of what your fate holds?" she asked, raising a curious brow at Belle. "Is it not better you know and prepare for it?" She tried again.

The girl only offered a smile. "I will take my leave now; excuse me."

"I am sure that your fate is just as beautiful as you are." She giggled at her own lines.

Belle offered her a polite smile and ignored the woman's words as she turned away to leave. But she had only taken two steps away from her original spot when she heard a quiet yelp behind her.
