24 Jungle escapades

Ho-jin looked at Ji-hun with disbelief at his statement, didn't he have any feelings for his Noona? 'How was it possible, was he not curious about why he is getting the dreams, or did he never want to meet her at all! But why?' His mind was raising questions one after the other with rapid fire speed, faster than he could keep up. He finally gathered all his thoughts and put them into a conscious stream of words.

"Hyung, tell me clearly and honestly: are you really not curious about her? Do you really don't want to meet her, or at least find out whether that girl exists or not; don't you have any feelings for her? And please don't try to lie to me, as I have noticed how you reacted just now, after a one-sided misunderstanding that I might like her as well! So please tell me the truth-" He was in the middle of his sentence when a message beep was heard by the both of them, he pulled out his phone- it was flashing 11:11 on the clock. He looked at the message stating that they had to go for practice at 12:30, right after Hyeon and Dae Jung were done with their practice session. Ho-jin realised that this privacy and flow of their conversation was for a limited time, and continued with a sense of urgency.

"So tell me the truth-" He raised his head and his eyes flitted back to his brother, who was bent over slightly, holding his chest with his hand and his eyes were almost overflowing with tears.

"Oh my God! Hyung, are you alright? I am so stupid to ask you such questions; hyung please tell me if you are okay? Do I need to call anyone? Are you not feeling well, is something hurting you? Tell me please…" Ho-jin screamed with fear, he didn't want to see his brother hospitalized again. He ran over to Ji-hun, only to see that he was mumbling feebly, trying to say something.

"She is not alright...somebody take her to the hospital please…" This was when he also hit the ground, losing all consciousness and leaving his panicked brother behind.

Naveen was alarmed after hearing 'I am not feeling well', for the first time from Nitya's mouth. He still remembered the day when he, along with Veer and Surbhi had found her on the road, unconscious. After she had come to her senses, she had still been insisting that she was alright, despite having high fever and suffering from continuous panic attacks along with extreme migraine.

He quickly dialed Veer's number as he knew Surbhi and Mukul were out of town for a few days on their college trip and rushed after grabbing his car keys. He couldn't waste a single second, his mind was going wild, imagining the seriousness of her condition knowing that Nitya herself had admitted to being sick.

He entered the car and started the engine while dialing Veer's number again. A sleepy voice could be heard from the other side of the phone, "What happened Bhaiya, it's not even 8 am yet. Is everything alright?"

"Veer, Nitya is not okay!" After that, Naveen briefed the whole situation to Veer and asked him to come as soon as he could.

Veer sat up straight as soon as he heard the news that she was not okay. He had already wanted to kill that bastard Siddhant for what he had done to his Nitya Di ('elder sister'), but she was the one who had always stopped him, otherwise he would have already beaten the crap out of him long ago. He couldn't stand him as well as his sister Natasha- she was a really manipulative soul; that brother-sister duo was really toxic. He had already shown them the exit door of his life peacefully once, but if this time it was anything related to them, he was definitely not going to spare them. He rushed out the door after getting his jacket and bike keys, while calling out to his mother "Don't wait for me mom, I don't know when I will be back as Nitya Di is not okay!"

Nitya opened her eyes to find herself in a jungle. "JUNGLE!" She shouted out loud as she couldn't understand how she had landed in a jungle, when she heard a voice from behind her.

"You are really loud, just like I am. Yes, you are definitely my mirror image, the reason I love you so much!"

Nitya whirled around to find out who the owner of that voice was. "Excuse me! What are you talking about, and how do you know me? And what do you mean, you love me! What are you: a stalker, or kidnapper? How did I end up in the wilderness, how were you able to bring me here and manage to sneak me out from under Mehul Bhaiya's glance?"

"Told you, you are just my mirror image! How did you manage to ask so many questions at once? At least give some time to the person in front of you to breathe! But as I mentioned, you are just my mirror image, so I will answer your questions one-by-one. Yes, I am talking about the fact that I love you so much. And I don't know the limit of my love for you, as it is limitless! Secondly, I know you more than you know yourself and I know this better than anyone. And one more thing, it might pinch Surbhi but tell her that I know you more than her as well. Third, I am not a stalker nor a kidnapper either, but since when have you started fearing them? I might have drained your strength a little too much, that you are not completely in your senses. And last, but I know it's not the last question you are going to ask. But I think I will be able to answer only this much for today- I didn't kidnap you by sneaking you away from your Mehul Bhaiya, I have just borrowed you from him for some time, as I was missing you so badly."

He completed his sentence with a wink, and then started coming near her. She took two steps backwards and was about to trip, when he grabbed her by holding her by the waist. He smiled at her indulgently, and took his own sweet time to finally say "You really like to be a heroine, don't you? I wish I could keep you by my side forever, but this is goodbye for now."

He returned her to her own two feet, and said "Take care, love," kissing her forehead. This was when she opened her eyes to see that Mehul was holding her face once again, and Naveen and Veer were standing in front of her along with Professor Ruchi. She panicked as to how everyone had been teleported to the jungle along with her, and she tried to get up to analyse everything that had just transpired.

Mehul stopped her from getting up, saying "You need to rest...you are in the hospital, Nikku."
