250 Moth and flame

Luciana felt like she was in a dream. She was not used to such a gentle Cardan. She was so unfamiliar with this side of him.

The Cardan who was so forward with his thoughts and feelings towards her made her feel like she was the liar here for suppressing whatever she felt. 

But what if he used her again? What if all of this was just another lie? Could she trust this man? 

She opened her mouth, ''I…''

''What is this?" Cardan frowned and removed her hand from his face, his gaze darkened when he saw the blood trailing down her elbow.

Luciana's eyes widened when she followed his gaze. She snatched her hand back, ''It's nothing…''

Cardan flipped her around. His jaw ticked as he ripped off her dress without another thought.

''Cardan!" Luciana hurriedly covered her breasts as the dress fell. She had not been wearing many layers because of the wounds.
