Morning came and like always I prepared myself for class.

Sitting beside the window alone wondering where did Lucas go? I got used to his presence every day but he was gone when I woke up, I even questioned my spirits if they noticed him leaving, |nope|, all of them answered the same.

As my class rolled to the next, I still kept on remembering the girl from before, her domineering attitude left its marks on me, her piercing yellow gaze, and while hair left a strong image in my mind.

But when I look back the more I realized the lingering smell that envelopes her, a strong smell of the wild lily flower.

(RING, RING, RING)

"That's all for today, class dismissed"

My last class for the morning has ended, but there is still no news about Lucas, 'he should n't like this?'

That's what I thought, strolling around the campus looking for signs of Lucas hoping to see him, I encountered a familiar face.

It was the secretary of the student committee, she stood there around a corner and like the looks of it, she was talking to someone.

"Your highness, you mustn't do this, you suddenly disappeared yesterday and only to reappeared in a foul mood, at least tell me what's wrong I'm your aid it's my role to assist you, I even respected your decision to be away from you, but-"

After her saying that I immediately hid behind a pillar.

"Quiet! I'll hear nothing of this any longer, as your master to serve to stay away from me, I don't even want to attend this academy I'm just following my master's advice, I don't want to part of the Royal family"

As the person replies to her, suddenly it struck me.

'Why do I have a sense of familiarity with the voice?'

"Is this an order your highness"

"Yes, and I'm leaving so stop bothering me"

A footstep started to walk towards my direction, I held my breath making the least sound I could ever do, having the idea that I could get caught would be too bothersome for me to handle.

As the sound became faint, I could also hear the secretary's crying sound.

I decided to show myself but also act as if I ain't heard anything. I walked slowly into the scene, intentionally making my footsteps known to Francis the Student Committee's Secretary, she reacted by immediately wiping her tears.

"Miss Secretary?"

I said looking at her innocently.

"Huh?! Oh Sir Azital, Hi!"

Instantly she tidies herself up, but it's evident from her eyes that tears flowed out.

"Don't mind me, things just got a bit complicated with the Committee, b-but don't let this affect your decision if you ever join the committee."

She stutters for a second, that itself shocked her which made her puff out a little laugh.

"Hahaha, I guess an upright person like yourself could sometimes slip up."

"Eh-hem, I lost my composure for a second, but who are you to judge, you just met me yesterday afternoon"

She firmly defended herself.

"But it was enough to know and at least I realize I'm not the only one that has a problem here"

"Hahaha, you're making it sound like a noble like you don't belong here, anyway I must go still a lot of things must be done as a secretary, hope I can get your answer soon"

Just like the most normal conversation I had since I came to this school ended, she left shortly after, leaving me alone in one of the school's hallways, she produced a unique scent.

'Huh?! She smelled like lilies'

I took a last glance at her as she walked away.

"Monstrous strength, a dominating vibe, plus that unique smell, did she perhaps talk with the girl from yesterday. If she did, calling her Your Highness."

'Shit, how did the previous owner know the princess?'

'Things just keeps getting complicated, and now my roommate is missing'

Thinking back since I got this body and arrived here in this world, I never did. I had a conviction to get to know this world, but only to live a life.

Have I only been like this one, remembering the past life I was just content at first but as I grow old, I realized things the hard way?

'UGH, Hyeon-jun, why did I only realize this now? Everything, I only felt content with what I have but that is just taking things for granted, never have I tried to take things for myself.

As of now I just arrived in front of the school dorm's information desk.

After my self-talk, I decided I should at least do a worthwhile living, who knows the owner's soul might return to this body, I guess I at least can do something while I'm here using his body.

And first on my list is to find that friend of mine.

"Oh you must be Mister Azital, your ginger hair had been always unique features of your household, so what can I do for you"

Guess it's rare in this world to have this color of hair, but knowing this it ain't that weird knowing back in the world ginger hair is common to some country, but purple, blue, green, indigo, and much more hair color in very common here, you can only do that with hair dye back on earth.

"Oh um, I'm only wondering if Lucas has returned to the dorm?"

"Lucas? Does he have a last name?"

"Not that I know off"

Explaining to her what I know about Lucas, but for starters what do I even know about Lucas? I have been neglecting his friendship towards me all this time not getting to know him.

"Hmm so a commoner, but how can a commoner be given a dorm for nobles, how weird."

Was that discrimination, even in this world.

"Sorry but the data I have here doesn't seem to match the name, Lucas"

She scratches her head, frowning as she looked towards her list of people using the school's dorm

"What? Can't you check again his my roommate"

I replied.

"Oh there is one, you should have said his full name, in the beginning, things should have been easier. Here Luciose Haldemeir, hmm he left last night, and until now there's is no sign of him logging in."

She said to me showing a timetable in my dorm room.

"Huh?! Guess, I never knew him since the beginning, I'm such a friend, anyway if you ever heard of him please tell me about it"

'Luciose Haldemeir, so Lucas was his pet name,'

"Oh sir I found something, it shows here that your friend used the school's warp gate"

"Warp gate?!, isn't that the magic for transporting a person from one place to another, what's the destination??"

She paused for a second and again showed me data for school facility usage, a list where every use of school property is magically written automatically.
