RESOLUTION

The old man sighs after hearing what Rustain said.

"I totally forgot that you have nothing to begin with," The old man said bluntly, sending a sharp stab in Rustain's ego.

"I do know a thing about swords but have -- ah!! Sir. Kai, him if I remember he once said that he is an adventurer, it was so very random actually, he just mentioned it out of nowhere when we first met" Rustain said enthusiastically as he replied to the old man.

The old man grinned and gave Rustain a deep stare, he also showed an 'I remember something look' and went back to his basket, after some time the old man pulled something that is tightly packed by rope and a rag fabric.

"Here, this is something I picked up when I and Sei went to the city and met a merchant" The old man immediately handed it to Rutstain,

Rustain wondered what inside and without a second thought he unwrapped it and saw a pair of black leather boots, a chest plate, leather gloves, and a long leather jacket. The fabric's texture made it smooth plus flexible, and light, which gives a breathable touch to it but sturdy at the same time.

Rustain looked at the gift that the old man gave and at that moment he remembers the time Rouge gave him the same thing.

"It's similar to the one I had before, I wonder if he left Shkatle?" Rustain murmured to himself but it was enough for the old man to hear it.

"Shkatle you say, now I'm really curious on how you got here?" The old man said.

"Why? How far is Shkatle anyway from here," Rustain asked.

"Quite far, Shkatle is located at the First Realm of El, and this place where you are currently is the Third Realm of El" The old man explained it and saw Rustain became confused "Hmm you see El is divided into Three dimensions or three worlds for better illustration, and you are currently one world away from Shkatle."

Rustain's eyes wide and only frowned; he looked lost after what the old man said.

"How can I go back there? everything stills appear really vague to me then adding to this problem I have right now about my lineage and the killers of my mother I also found out that I'm one world away from before it's like fate keeps pushing me away" Rustain clench this first and grinned his teeth as he said those.

"Don't worry I'll help you to go back but first let's get that sword and survive this beast horde, Sei already left and is helping with the preparation of putting up defenses for the village and now it's your turn, so let's go" the old man said,

He then patted Rustain's shoulders as he passed by and opened the door. Rustain felt a warm feeling coming from the old man and it was enough for him to know he was comforted; he then chuckled and looked at the old man.

"Yes sir." Rustain said firmly and followed the old man outside the house.

"What are you doing?" The old man said.

"Huh?" Rustain wondered.

"Aren't you going to change into the one I bought for you" the old man said.

Rustain then remembered the leather set that he received.

"Oh right, be right back" Rustains said and sprinted back inside.
