Enkidu sat down inside the kotatsu. He refused to move. Nay nothing would make him move. Yu Mei pulled his arms as she attempted to move him out. "Come on! Hurry up!" Soon enough Tamamo came as well. She used magecraft instead. Nothing worked.

Probably because they didn't look under the kotatsu. If one looked then they would find that multiple chains were keeping him under the kotatsu.

A loud bang came from the door as a familiar goldie walked in. "Hahaha! I see my friend is giving you mongrels some trouble!"

Enkidu looked at Gil before looking at the kotatsu. The familiar past phrase in his life rung out. "Bros before hoes." But then again he didn't want to leave the kotatsu until Gil said "I'm paying for everything. On top of that, Siduri's buttercakes."

Tamamo and Yu Mei blinked as Enkidu appeared beside Gil as they walked out. Enkidu turned around sheepishly "Sorry he offered something I can't refuse."

The two girls were left gloomy.

"All this time and we still can't beat food."

"Is food the only thing in his heart?"

A/N: I feel like my ass whooping is inching closer everyday. I might jinx myself if I write this. The break will be longer, I won't be gone that's for sure. Until I came determine my fate will not have an ass whooping. Progress on avoiding the ass whooping is coming steadily however I still have exams.

I feel sad.

I will ascend from this world for a bit. I need to study. I got asian parents and I'm sure you can figure it out.
