24 Chapter 22 Party 2\2 electric boogaloo

Rose watched Tony leave with Pepper, probably to find out more about Ivan Vanko. It would be weird if Tony didn't do so. The other guest also started to leave, well that's what happens when an attack happens at a party. Guests get scared and want to leave. Charles's speech didn't seem to help, together with Tony apologizing to everyone about the Attack.

Well more Cake for him! The children were not at all affected and seemed even happier, probably because the X-Men dealt with Ivan effortlessly and it gave the children a boost in their trust, for them. Bobby was glad that it was dealt with rather fast. But he still needed to talk with Charles about the next few steps. Though the X-Men dealt with Ivan fast, some might use the attack to twist facts or make the X-Men seem like monsters.

So Bobby gave a kiss on Roses forehead and then left to talk about what should happen next. Rose just minded his own business, eating a lot of food, mainly sweets. His stomach seemed to be infinite when it comes to sweets, even more so after his X-Gene awakened and he didn´t seem to get fat anymore! So he could eat without a care in the world!

As he stuffed his face he suddenly felt like he was watched, looking around he didn't see anyone of the X-Men or the children look at him. He frowned and put down the slice of cake he was eating, putting it on his chair. Giving it a look of farewell, Rose walked through crowds of people, but still felt eyes on him. Now he knew someone was spying or targeting him. Not wanting to bother Bobby, Rose decided to walk to a more secluded place.

Ready to summon any of Eris children if he needed any kind of support. He waited for about five minutes, till a figure dressed in black came falling down from the roof of the Gym. "Didn't expect anymore guests, can i see your invitation?" Rose asked sarcastically, unsure who the man was before him. Shield? Hydra? Brotherhood or some other of the many Organizations in this universe?

"I don't need a invitation, now tell me, what exactly are you? I can smell the weak smell of a Vampire of you, you have Thier fangs, yet you can walk under sunlight, eat garlic and didn't seem bothered by many of the things lethal to a normal vampire!" The Man said and pulled out a ornate pistol and one of the many stakes on his belt.

"Well, i am not really a Vampire, not even half of one, maybe a quarter vampire? Wait scratch that, my X-Gene absorbed my Vampire genes, as they were to weak. So i should be more Mutant than a Vampire? So who are you?" Rose stated, in a thinking tone and asked the last part with his fist on his hips. The Man didn't once look away from Rose and seemed to analyze him.

Looking if Rose might be lying, wanting to test something the Man pulled out a bottle and opened it, a scent wafted out of it and Rose felt it smelled like iron. Well Rose looked at the Man, who seemed to be amazed, for Rose seemingly not caring at all about the Bottle. "Sorry, but i don't suffer from Iron deficiency." Rose joked and the Man closed the Bottle and put it away.

"This was Virgin blood, with some drugs mixed in it. The smell alone would drive a Vampire crazy and even a daywalker. Well only if they haven't drunk recently, but as you don't smell of blood, but chocolate cake, i can assume you didn't drink any blood till now right?" The Man guessed and Rose gave a short nod. "I am not really into blood. That kind of shade of red doesn't suit me." Rose said with a smile and then looked at the Man.

"So can you maybe tell me your name? After all you probably know mine already and maybe you can tell me, what you want from me?" Rose asked the Man seemed to think for a bit, "You can call me Blade, as for what I wanted from you? Well i needed to confirm if you were a dangerous Vampire or not." Blade said in a not amused tone.

"So you would have killed me if i was one of the dangerous ones? Amusing. Anyway you should go, my partner probably noticed me missing and will search for me." Rose stated and looked at his nails. Blade looked around and nodded "Be careful, even if you aren't a Vampire and only a mutant, there might be Vampires that will try to turn you to Thier side and Vampire hunters that will still try to kill you. I will still keep an eye on you from time to time, so i hope you won't fall into drinking blood." Blade said and quickly left.

Rose didn't need to wait long for Bobby to find him, Bobby looked at Rose concerned and quickly looked him over. "Everything alright? Did anything happen? Why did you leave?" Bobby asked a bit frantic. "I just met a little stalker, no worries." Rose tried to calm Bobby down. As to why Bobby knew Rose was missing? Well Rose would never leave behind a half eaten slice of cake! So naturally something must be wrong!

"I will explain it to you, once we get back to our room, okay?" Rose asked Bobby, who gave a conflicted look, Rose sighed and kissed him and then gave him a hook. "Do not worry, if I truly were in danger, i would have let you know. It wasn't much really!" Rose stated and Bobby accepted the situation. "Next time at least text me, okay?" Bobby asked, while holding Rose's face and looking him into his eyes.

"Sure!" Rose said and both returned to the party, well Rose returned to the slice of cake and Bobby just followed him.
