Feelings out in the open

As Damon looks at Rosalie, he feels an overwhelming emotion of regret wash over him, as he sees the hurt in her eyes which she is trying so hard to hide.

"So you knew how felt all along, why didn't you say anything?"

"I knew you and I would be together at some point, so I just waited."

"I am sorry, but I just didn't want to be controlled by anything, and I thought that was what was happening, but I know now that it wasn't the case and my actions at the time were to put it nicely childish, and they hurt you and for that, I am truly sorry and will do anything to make it up to you."

"I know you will, and it did hurt knowing that even if it was only part of you didn't want the mate bond, it made it feel like you were rejecting me along with it."

" That was never my intention, but it does not matter, what matters is what happened and my action made you feel like didn't want you and for that, all I can do is apologize and hope you can forgive me."

" I can forgive you, but can you really be with me after knowing my past?"

"Your past doesn't matter I'll always be here for you, even if my earlier actions did not show this."

"Okay, but I'll tell you anyway, I was born in Rochester, New York, in early 1915, my family was just my parents and my two younger brothers, my father worked at a bank which was enough to provide for our family in the great depression. I was very beautiful making me gain some bad personality traits like being vain and self-centered this came about from being constantly praised. One day my father had forgotten his lunch at home and at the instruction of my mother I dressed up and delivered it to him, catching the attention of the son of the bank owner. after sending me some flowers and making some very good comments about my eyes we started a relationship which at the time I didn't notice was only based on physical attraction, Royce was always busy at the bank and we never git the chance to really know each other, yet we got engaged, But when I saw the relationship between my friend Vera and her husband and baby I got jealous and I finally understood there was no love in my relationship with Royce. Then one week before the wedding I found Royce drunk with his friends bragging about how beautiful I was and this lead to me being gang-raped and beaten by him and all his friends. After they left me for dead Carlisle found and turned me with the intention I would be Edwards mate, but he rejected the idea and I later got my revenge by killing all who raped me while leaving Royce for last, I killed him wearing my wedding gown, after all, that I joined the Cullen family."

"So, can you love a dirty and used woman like me?" she asked venom running down her face.

"As I said, Rosalie, I will not leave or hurt you I will be here with you forever, and you are not used or dirty, you are an angel, and even knowing this I don't regret being your mate we will be together now and forever," Damon says as he rubs her cheek and she snuggled into his palm.

"Always and forever huh, that sounds good." She responds venom still pouring from her eyes.

"let's go the others are probably waiting."

Taking a shirt from the back of the car he wipes away the venom on Rosalie's face and stares at her

"You really are beautiful."

Blushing Rosalie looks away, of course, she has had many men tell her she is beautiful but it just feels different when Damon says it.

"Thank you."

Damon just smiles and starts driving again heading to the school, After driving for another ten minutes they finally pull into the school parking lot drawing everyone's attention to them as they have never seen a student driving this car, and Rosalie was not with the Cullens this morning.

As Damon car was tinted so no one could see who was inside, when the car finally stopped and the door opened and Dakon stepped out all eye went to him, after all even if he wasn't the god of beauty he was still better looking than all humans and most vampires.

Damon didn't mind the gazes as he circles around the car and opened the passenger door when a hand stretched out and he held it helping Rosalie exit the car, causing a round of gasps from everyone in the area.

As they looked at each other and smiled, then went to the other Cullen who were still standing in the parking lot.

Now everyone was together they left and went to class while Damon got his schedule.

But even as they went about normally, everyone else was already spreading the news.

'of the handsome new boy, and how he and Rosalie Cullen were together as he dropped her to school.'

This little bit of information broke many hearts both boys and girls, as even if she had rejected almost everyone inthe school she didn't have a boyfriend so they still had a chance, but now she had one and one that good looking things were nothing looking good for them.

After spending a boring day at school Damon was really considering dropping out after just half a day the only thing holding him back was Rosalie. now he and Rosalie were sitting at a table in the cafeteria separate from the Cullens as Damon does not hide is budding dislike for them, well apart from Alice as she was just to nice and bubbly to dislike.

Damon really wanted to ask Rosalie to leave her family but he knew it would only hurt her as she would not be able to choose and him just forcing her to do that would not be the right thing, but he knew with all that's going to happen there will be plenty opportunities to show her that her so called family is not prefect at all.

But even if he dislikes the Cullens he does not hate them, as they haven't really done anything to him or Rosalie and with how strong he is he thinks it foolish to hate vampires as he could kill them easily.
