22 Dinner

As Damon and Rosalie entered the dining room they both noticed how the rest of the Cullen family looked a little tense and uncomfortable, but at that moment Damon didn't think much of it as he just thought that after that look he gave them they might be little afraid of him, he would have said some about it but Bella was here and she didn't know what he was and he intended to keep it that way for a while as he saw no reason to go around broadcasting what he was.

"So, you guys started eating without us, well at least you did," he said as he looked at Bella

"Sorry I never got your name, I'm Damon."

"It's Isabella Swan, but everyone calls me Bella," says Bella as she looks at him cautiously

"You seem a little scared, I mean a human in a house full of vampires yet, I'm sure I felt or you looked at me with a tinge of fear weird right, must be my imagination after all if you aren't afraid of vampires you wouldn't be afraid of a fellow human right," says Damon

"Anyway, this is my girlfriend Rosalie Hale, Rosalie this is Bella," says Damon as he gestures to the both of them.

After speaking Damon's focus shifted to the food on the table as he helped himself as it was not as if Bella could eat it all by herself, as the Cullens saw Damon shift his attention from Bella and started eating they relaxed a bit, but that was when Rosalie finally spoke.

"So what was it that made you decide to come to a house full of vampires?, was it courage or stupidity I am genuinely interested in your answer," said Rosalie

"I know Edward wouldn't hurt me," says Bella

"Well that takes care of Edward, what about the rest of us, were you sure we wouldn't hurt you as well because if you are I have to say you have more faith in us than we do when it comes to that," says Rosalie

"Alright Rosalie, let's sit and have a proper conversation," says Carlisle

As they all relaxed and sat around the table there was only the sound of Damon's fork touching the plate every now then other than that there was complete silence, as even Bella had stopped eating as they sat there, as he finished eating Damon turned to Esme as said.

"For people who can't taste the food you make you sure know how to cook."

"Thank you for the compliment, if you like it's no trouble for me to make something for you when you like it would give me an excuse to use the kitchen."

"I'll think about it, now shouldn't this be more lively just sitting here in this quiet can be any fun for Bella," says Damon

"I'm fine."

"So, Bella are you still living in a fairy tale, or have they told you what comes along with being a vampire?" asks Damon

"Like what," asks Bella

"You see Bella being a vampire is not all fun and sparkles, after all, you have to drink human blood to survive cant go out in the sun, and you outlive all your family watching all of them die, and you can't have kids I mean the benefits might out weight the downsides but it all depends on who's looking at it and what they value," says Damon

" maybe right now you're just entranced by the prospect of being something other than human, but think it through before making a decision."

"So when are you going to turn her Edward?" asks Rosalie

"I'm not turning her into this cursed thing," says Edward.

"You all agree to this ?" asks Rosalie as she looked at Carlisle and Esme

"It's his choice," answered Carlisle

Hearing this Rosalie Immediately got up slashing the plate in front of her while looking angrily at them while her eyes shone blue for a second as the only person who manage to catch that was Damon as he continued to watch things unfold without interfering.

" So when the Volturi gets word of a human knowledge of our existence and she still alive or not turned what do you think will happen, are you telling me you are willing to risk this family and go to war with the Volturi for this?, well I'll tell you this now don't expect me to fight with you."

"Rosalie I know you are upset but don't say things you will regret, just calm down," says Carlisle

" I meant what I said."

Seeing how things were going Damon decided to ask Bella a question.

"Bella do you even want to become a vampire?"

"...."

everyone went silent as it was her decision at the end of the day.

" you all wouldn't understand," said Bella

" Why wouldn't we understand."

" Because all of you are not human."

As soon as she said that Damon's facial expression changed as he had noticed her acting weird around him since he arrived.

" Then what am I?" asked Damon as Bella had realized what she had done.

"....."

"Damon calm down it was a mistake," says Carlisle

"A mistake, then please tell me how this mistake took place."

"....."

"Guess it wasn't really a mistake, huh, now I wonder who did it after I kept your little secret you would think you would do the same but I guess not."

BOOM!!

Damon Disappeared from his seat as he reappeared with Edwards's neck in his hand as he slammed him into the wall.

"I just have a feeling it was you, it was you wasn't it?" ask Damon as he looks him in his eyes.

"Please stop, it was a mistake," says Bella

Ignoring Bella, Damon continues "I've warned you many times, and yet you continue to test my patience." says Damon.

As the rest of the Cullen family looked on in a ready stance, Rosalie found herself standing behind Damon facing her family ready to stop any of them that advanced.

Maybe because he had not noticed that Edward looked at Damon and said

"You won't hurt me it would make Rosalie sad."

Hearing this Damon looked at him, while he smiled.

"Is that so?"
