Chapter VII - Mary

October 2, 2037

A Week has passed after a lot of traning at the headquarters

"Mission Paparazzi will start Tommorow at 9:00PM, i will repeat Mission Paparazzi will start tommorow at 9:00PM, UNDERSTAND?!"

Dr. Bruce said to the 5 Members of Death Order including Selina... Mission Papparazi is Selina's first mission...

"YES We do MASTER!!!" they replied

"alright now go and start your last training for the Mission"

"Yes sir" they replied and started the Training except for Selina which she approached Dr. Bruce then she said to him..

"sir, i'll just want to ask a favor..."

"what favor?" he replied

"i want to atleast go out and try to seek my Firend's Funeral, she will be burried right now , just one hour left to prepared... Please sir... I need to atleast go, Now" with an low pitch... And she is almost close to crying...

"she had been killed or natural?"

"Killed" as she turns around and cried loudly, it can be heared from the Training Area.. Where the other members were on right now..

"i'll let you go, but promise try to hide as long as possible, your now a member and also you are framed right now"

"Thank you Master" as she left Dr. Bruce and walked away to the Exit upstairs... But as she is climbing the stairs her phone ringed, it was Emmanuel calling... She has 2 choice to either accept or reject the call, she chose to accept it...

"hello? ,why did you call?"

"Selina, lets meet up right now i have something important to say to you"

"where should we meet up though"

"at my house, NOW GO!"

"okay... Okay"

And she quickly reached for the Exit, Running"

Then before she can even reach the Exit, she put her phone backed into her pocket... But

Dr. Bruce then appeared, he seems to teleported... Selina is shocked and ask

"Umm, Master can i go now" with an awkward smile

"Tell the truth Selina, are you going into his House or into the Funeral" he replied

"Uh?, what do you mean? Master?"

"you can't lie, Selina, so now asked me where are you going? Into his house or the Funeral"

"both" she said

"you can't"

"i can, don't underestimate me"

as she walked staright ignoring Dr. Bruce, as she will touch the doorknob, Selina's hand then feel pain, until it reaches her mind... She is screaming out of pain, until she used her powers to reverse the time... Just after she finished the call with Emmanuel, as she knows what will happen, she teleported outside the Exit door, then she quickly run away from the area and teleported again into the house of Zao Family, she is right in time, they are now just preparing to lift up the coffin of the whole family except of course Mary... Selina can't just rushed into Mary, she needs to wait for the perfect timing, as she is waiting on a tree.. Emmanuel called again Selina rejects the call and instead texted him..

"im on a funeral right now, just wait. I also have some interesting things to share to, just give me some minutes"

not for so long she recieve a message from Emmanuel it reads as

"okay, be careful there and be fast as you don't want to get caught there... And say condelence for me"

She texted back

"okay"

Then she put her phone back into her pocket... And she noticed that the funeral marxh has started... She quickly then rush to find Mary... But the crowd is too big and full of crying persons... She bumped into others just to try and find Mary... Its hard but its better than nothing... And luckily she found Mary at the very Start touching her Mom's coffin and moving to her Sisters and to her Dad and so on... Selina then shouted

"Mary" a few times but she can't be heared, the others thought Selina is crazy, she also wearing some sunglasses to make sure no one would ever recognized her.... They're whispering at each other... The topic is Selina, but she doesn't care about it, and just keep going until Mary turned seeing Selina but she doesnt recognize her at first until she remove her sunglasses and wear it again , another time.. Selina rushed to Mary.. As she don't care if she was bumping into ithers... As they both reached other arms... They both hug and cry, Selina asked

"what happened?" with a crying voice

"they are killed one by one, i survived as i escaped from the window" Mary replied with a crying voice

"who killed them?"

"a blue something man, Alien? " as Mary burst out into tears...

Selina also burst out into tears, and realized they are already oj the back of the line...but as little did they know, Morna was spying on them, to give out some details to Dr. Bruce as she talks into the phone

"Confirmed, it was Exitio" as she hide again into the tree...

Meanwhile while Emmanuel was still waiting into his house...

It was an hour of walking before they manage to reached the cemetery it was already 12:30... Mary had to go now into the front to give an speech before her Family burial while Selina is sitting on a plastic chair in front to...

"I would like to thank you, to all of you who camed here to dwell with me, to my beloved family, i thought it was just a nightmare to think of, but it did happened for now. I do believe that everything is possible, GOOD OR BAD, (cries) i cound'nt even imagine a single bit of this will happen on a short time, they had been tortured and killed one by one, and for the killer i hope you would sleep right now!!! To rest,.... forever and burn his soul to the demons and it will never be Enough!!!,(cries) they dont deserve this "

as she walks out and burst into tears again, Selina cound'nt handle it too and quickly rushed to Mary to comfort her but she is too weak to do that, and also burst out into tears

Crying, Crying as the coffin of the family is being burried... Mary can't see it as she is too weak for it to even see her family being burried and afraid that she will never see her family again... As the burial finished the two Mary and Selina did go to Emmanuel house...

A doorbell was heared into Emmanuel's house ... Emmanuel opened the door seing Selina and Mary just cried...

"Emmanuel, this is Mary her family just had been killed, did you know anything about the case?" Selina said

"Oh... Are you Za'yn Xiang Zao?" Emmanuel said to Mary

"just call me Mary" she replied

"oh i see" he replied

"So sit down on the sofa first and i'll just grab some drinks"

Selina and Mary sitted down as Emmanuel go to the kitchen to get some juice...

As they sit down

Mary asked Selina

"are you sure about this?"

"why not?" Selina replied and then Emmanuel replied with 2 Glasses of Orange Juice and placed into the table... And He Asked

"So what do you want to say Selina?"

"uhmm... Well i do now know who is the killer, as Mary explained that the killer is like a Blue humanoid, as the same who killed my Mom, as i go back in the time... Right? Emmanuel"

"yes" he replied

"wait, so you know who is the killer now? , so who is it?" Mary said

"My.... Dad"

"your Dad?" Emmanuel asked

As Mary heared this she walked out and burst out into tears... Selina followed her outside

"your a monster!!!" she said

"Why?... Me?"

"YES!!!"

"let me explain first Mary"

Mary slapped Selina and said

"what explaining you have left to do, you said by yourself!!!, you have the same blood of a monster!!!"

"and yet, IM NOT THE SAME!!!, she killed my Mom!!!, what do you think i will do!!! , consent him?!"

Mary is speechless as Selina cried and go back inside of the house, Emmanuel is confused as she seen Selina crying, while Mary is crying and tried to reach the gate, but she was stopped by Emmanuel

"Mary, i know its hard but... Let Selina explain it, can you?"

Mary ignores it... But Emmanuel begs again

"Please" he said

And Mary agress and go back inside the house to discuss it... ,Selina explained about her Dad and the Death Order... After she explained it Mary asked for forgiveness

"Selina, sorry about that... It just my emotions drives me crazy, especially right now... That my whole family died"

"i understand you, well your Family is also now a part of my heart right now, losing them... Is also like a piece of my heart that lost..."

"by the way mind if i'll join the Death Order?"

Emmanuel then cut-in on their conversation

"wait, you will join a group that kills killer?

"Well, yeah but not totally i will just join their mission on Vormid,(cries) to face of the one who killed my Family" with a crying voice

"well, thats i think the end of conversation right now.... So ladies what is your plan right now?"

"well how about lets eat first" Emmanuel said

"well yeah, im really hungry right now" Selina replied

"Me too" Mary said too

As they finish eating for some minutes Selina then said that they will be going to the headquarters with Mary

"we will go now to the headquarters mind driving us?, so atleast you can see it and also don't report us, okay?"

Emmanuel just smiled and nodded

"oh Mary, you can go first now i'll just follow you, okay?"

"umm... Yes i'll now go"

Mary then go outside waiting for Selina

Then Emmanuel whispered to Selina

"be safe and i can't drive you two right now... The police might track me and you know"

And kissed Selina... Selina kissed Emmanuel back too...

Then Mary shouted waiting outside

"GUYS?"

Then they both stopped kissing and Selina Quickly rushed to go outside then Emmanuel said

"Bye"

Selina turned back and then send a flying kiss and said

"Bye"

Then Selina left the place... Mary asked Selina

"how about your boyfriend" she said and smiled

"shut up, please" she replied

"just joking" Mary said then she laughed which made Selina laugh too...

As they're both outside of the gate Selina said

"be prepared, we will just teleport"

"wh-

Mary can't even finished the sentence and they already arrived...

"that makes me dizzy" Mary replied

"not really" Selina replied

"k" with a pissed voice

As they both walk the same time on the entrance Dr. Bruce just teleported out of nowhere...

"lets go inside, i have some explaining to do" Selina said to Dr. Bruce...

Dr. Bruce let them to go inside and let Selina to explain... On the Living room

"Master... This is Mary... She is also a victim of my Dad, she wants to join our mission... My Dad kills her family, all of them..."

"i can't let all of this happen, they want to collinize the earth, terraform it... They just want to kill us Vormards who goes against him since we are traitors to him... And now he wants to take his step a little further... And now to kill innocent people right now!, thats UNACCEPTABLE!!!, but i can't risk a unexperienced human to join us" then he turned back

Selina then approached Dr. Bruce and whispered begging

"Please"

then Mary spoked up

"ummm... I can protect myself thou, im a skilled martial arts artist, believe on me"

"im not sure about that, we will be going into a mission with alien beings i doubt its hard for you to even lunch a punch"

"sorry, but i do respect you but don't underestimate me" Mary said

"maybe, let us test you... Selina!!!"

"Master?" Selina replied

"give her a test, let her battle with Morna, no powers, Understand?"

"yes master" she replied

"Mary, let's go" She said to Mary

Aa they go to the Training Room the other 4 Members were there... Selina introduced Mary to the others...

"Guys, this is Mary and Mary they are other members of the Death Order which is Morna,Jasmine,Javes and Liam the son of Dr. Bruce, and Dr. Bruce commands a Fight Test beetween Morna vs Mary, no powers only skills... Now start... Then Dr. Bruce then teleported out of nowhere into the Room

"Yep, Thats Right... Now Start while the others traiin while they're fighting... NOW GO!!!" as he teleports back again out of the room... Selina and the others did go training leaving Morna and Mary to fight...

Mary to Morna

"so should we?"

"we still didn't even met each other?, how about lets get to know more each other as they are walking on circles...

"well, My family died a week ago its frustrating, i want to avenge my family..."

"sounds like Selina does want too, you know what?, i let you win this... If i can..." as they both stopped walking Mary then reached her arm for a handshake and smiled... Then Morna reached it too... But as she don't know its a trap! The time that Morna toucjed Mary's hand, Mary twisted her arm anf made her to fall on her knees... Morna shouted

"STOP!!!, it hurts!" as she is screaming out of pain... As Mary heared it she loosen her Hand into her wrist... And kneeled down to ask

"Does it hurts" in a concerned voice but its just a another trap... She is fooled... Morna kicked Mary's face and then attempt to kick her Face... But She was able to dodge and catch her foot airbone and smash it into the ground... The Fight was tragic as it keeps going for the next 8 minutes but at the end Mary was able to defeat Morna... And reedemed to be a Non-Official Member Of The Death Order as she needs to be defined as Worthy to be a member of the Death Order..., Selina was happy for Mary since she was accepted by Dr. Bruce, they both hugged each other... In the Living Room, this is seen by the members of the Death Order on the background happy...

"We made a great choice" Dr. Bruce whispered

Followed by Jasmine

"yes we really did"
