UNKNOWN RANK MISSION

The next day, a group of teens and a man in his twenties were seen in front of a two-story building wearing an all-black battle suit with their emblems pinned on the left side of their chests.

"Why does he always come out last whenever we are going somewhere?" Jake asked as an annoyed expression filled his face.

"How would we know" Jonah answered helplessly while stretching out both his arms. But right when Jake was about to complain, the front door of the building where they all stood suddenly opened.

"Let's move," Dave said as he came out of the building wearing a black golden battle suit that matches with his emblem on his chest.

'Finally!' Jake screamed inside him as he quietly flew out of that area along with the squad and Dave.

"You finally came," Lucas said as he saw Dave and his squad landing in front of him. Where they were is at the front entrance of a five-story building. its structure resembles a tall and wide pagoda that had many runes all over its white body. At the top of the building, there is a large billboard that had bold writing "BHPC" written on it in a golden color.

When Dave saw the runes written all over the building, he had a solemn look as he thought.

'Looks like something extremely precious Is inside this building'

"Good day Dave" Lucas called out again when he saw that Dave hasn't noticed his presence.

'Hmm?' Dave thought as he turned toward where Lucas was currently standing. When he saw that familiar green-haired man who was wearing a white suit staring at him and his squad, he suddenly had a confused expression as he said.

"I thought Lord Xavier was the one that was going to give us our first mission"

"Am sorry but he has an urgent meeting he has to attend so he gave me the role to give you guys your first mission" Lucas said with a slight smile as Dave's beast hunters squad approached him.

But his slight smile quickly changed into a shocked expression when he saw that he couldn't see through Dave and his squad at all!

'Maybe they can succeed in this mission' Lucas thought as a relieved expression suddenly came on his face.

"Ok, can you then tell us what our mission is?" Muzi suddenly asked which brought Lucas back to reality.

"Follow me" Lucas replied as he quickly turned and walked into the building. When they followed Lucas into the building, they could see various hunters everywhere on the ground floor some were scrolling through a screen that was right in front of them while others were staring at a blackboard that had many posters all over it.

While following Lucas who was going toward an elevator, they saw various squads that had battle suits of different colors. Some wore red battle suits, green battle suits, purple battle suits, and also yellow battle suits.

'Looks like I made the right choice for making my squad battle suit to be all black' Dave thought as he saw two different groups wearing the same red battle suit.

"Where exactly are we going to sir Lucas?" Viona asked as they got into the elevator.

"We are going to the third floor. That's where you guys will receive your first mission" Lucas answered as he pressed the number "3" on the elevator number board.

"What!!" everyone except Dave shouted with a look of disbelief when they heard what Lucas said.

"Why did you guys shout!?" Dave suddenly asked with a startled expression. But what Muzi said next changed his expression into confusion.

"That's because we are about to receive our first mission in Rank B hall"

"What's a Rank B hall?" Dave asked with his confused expression still on his face. Normally, if someone else asked this question, they would have at that person till he or she falls into depression. But this time no one even smiled as Lucas decided to clear Dave confused expression.

"Firstly, a Rank hall is beast hunter squads receive missions, buy equipments, and also where you can upgrade your squad into higher levels. The hall Ranks ranges from D to S, where we are now is Rank B hall where beast hunters in the same level receive Rank B missions"

When Lucas finished his explanation, they were already in what seems to be a Rank B hall. The hunters their were few so when they saw that the elevators' door was opening, they immediately looked at the people coming out of it.

"Looks like another squad has leveled up"

"But this squad looks quite young to reach this level right?"

"Can't you see Muzi is with them? I bet his talent brought those youngsters to this level"

While ignoring the silent remarks about them coming from the groups in the hall, Lucas and the hunters he's guiding quickly approached a counter where a middle aged was seen sitting behind it.

"Yo Steve, I brought the hunters for the mission" Lucas said as he dropped his left hand on Steve's right shoulder. When Steve felt a hand on his shoulders, he looked up and saw Lucas with an unfamiliar hunters squad.

"Are these the people Lord Xavier asked us to give that mission to?" Steve asked as he looked at the solemn gazes if the squad behind Lucas. But when he saw Dave, he trembled a little as he suddenly said.

"Don't answer that, let me bring the mission details"

And so Steve brought out a crystal from inside the counter. After bringing the crystal out, he put a tinge of his energy into the crystal. As soon as the energy enter the crystal, the crystal shined in an azure light as a screen appeared in front of the group.

"Mission- Explore an underground cave in the Vortex.

Reward- 5,000 points" Steve said while reading out the details of the mission. When they heard the details of the mission they were about to embark on, the solemn look intensified as Dave thought.

'Looks like we are starting off with a bang'

"You shall set off in three days time to complete your mission" Steve said as he shut down the crystal and put it back into the counter.
