GOD OF ELEMENTS

"What god of elements!?" Cynthia shouted as she and the male duo searched for the owner of that calm voice. But when the trio saw the one that owned that calm voice right in front of them, they hurriedly bowed as Cynthia spoke In a trembling voice.

"My... My lord, please forgive me for my poor etiquette"

The man that just appeared had long golden hair that was tied into a rather long ponytail that matched his eyes. He wore a golden-colored robe that covered both his arms and feet. It seems to have strange runes written all over it as it glows its golden light amid the white light.

The man didn't seem to care about the trio as he looked at the floating sphere in the distance with ecstasy written all his face. After some time of observation from the man, he turned toward the trio who were still bowing as he asked.

"How long has it been since when this sphere appeared?"

That seems to be a sign of forgiveness for them as the trio stood up straight while Lucas answered respectfully.

"It has been thirty minutes my lord"

When the man heard that answer, he began to think about something as he spoke with himself. But when the trio saw that gesture, they suddenly had solemn expressions as Steve asked in a respectful tone.

"My lord please forgive my manners but what is a god of elements"

As soon as the man heard that question, he suddenly stopped speaking to himself as he looked up at the trio. After some moments of silence, the man began to explain as he began to go around the trio.

"Long ago, before the dark ages, there was an ancient story which talked about the five gods that created the universe. They were the god of chaos and destruction, harmony and peace, life and death, Love and lust, and finally the elements. Although the god of elements is the weakest among the gods, he or she is the most important among them"

"But my lord, how does the god of element relate to this phenomenon?" Lucas suddenly asked in the most polite tone he could muster from his mouth.

After getting a question from Lucas, he continued in his explanation as he still went around the trio.

"From the records of theologians before the dark ages, there is a form of cycles where the ruling gods will choose their successors who will take their place as they merge with the heaven to become one entity"

When the trio heard what the man said up to this point, they suddenly had a look of disbelief as Cynthia asked with a hoarse voice.

"Does that mean..."

"Yes, what we are witnessing now is the awakening of a god's successor" the man with a golden robe suddenly interjected with a look of joy. But not long after, the man seems to remember something as he stopped his movement to face the trio while ordering them with the usual calm voice.

"Oh, I almost forgot, get a place prepared for the god of elements' successor. we don't want him to cause havoc in the world"

"Yes my lord," the trio said in unison as they flew out of that chaotic area to find the most effective zone for the sphere.

'I wonder how long it will take for this awakening to end' the man with the golden robe thought as he activated a spell that put the spell in a barrier.

"Where am I?" Dave said as he looked at the strange environment he was in. The place Dave was in looked like a starry sky with what seemed like a planet from afar. But when Dave took a closer look at the planet, he suddenly had a disbelief expression on his face as he just figured out what he was seeing was his home planet Earth!

"Do you like the view?" a voice suddenly spoke behind him. When he heard that deep but calm voice, he immediately turned to see who was standing behind him.

What he saw was a pale-looking man who had a smirk on his face along with his hand crossed behind him. His hair had a long rainbow-like color that floated strangely. His eyes were entirely white as they glowed in the starry sky along with a white crystal found on his forehead. He wore a long robe that was filled with rainbow colors as it gave off a mystical vibe.

"Who are you?" Dave asked with killing intent leaking out of his body. But the strange man didn't even take Dave's hostile behavior to mind as he answered in a calm voice with a smirk still on his face.

"My name is Micheal Star or you can call me the god of elements"

When Dave heard the introduction the man in front of him said, he seemed to remember something as he asked.

"Were you the one that one who spoke to me a year ago?"

'What a fast thinker' Micheal said in his mind as his smirk widened while he answered.

"Yes, am the one"

When Dave heard that answered, he quickly dropped his guard as he bowed while saying.

"Greetings, my lord"

Although what Dave suddenly did surprised Micheal, he suddenly calmed down as he asked with now a solemn look on his face.

"Do you know why I am here?"

A sudden tremor ran through Dave when he heard that question as he rosed from his bow and said with a pleading look on his face.

"But am not yet ready my lord"

But Micheal suddenly sighed as a helpless look took over his face as he said.

"Unfortunately, I can't wait till you are ready anymore since the universe is currently in a major crisis"

"What do mean my lord?" Dave asked with a confused expression on his face. But Micheal didn't seem to hear him as he continued.

"But I can make you ready in a shorter time"

"How?" Dave asked with a confused expression more intense than the previous one on his face.

"You will have to stay in the sphere you are currently in for some time as I pass on my legacy to you"

"For how long my lord?" asked Dave with a bad feeling building up in him. When Micheal heard that question, he suddenly cast an awkward smile on his face as he answered.

"At least five years"

"FIVE!!?" Dave shouted with an incredulous expression on his face.

"It can't be helped, the universe is at stake here so you just have to bear with this" Micheal said with the awkward smile still on his face.

'Can't I just improve just like the others' Dave thought as he covered his face with his right hand while answering.

"Yes my lord"
