1 Coffee Shop

Michelle was walking down the street to go to a coffee to meet up with some of her friends. She heard her phone ring. She picked it up to see who it was, it was Nicole.

"Hello?" She asked the person on the other line.

"Hey! Michelle I hope you don't mind," she didn't complete her sentence.

"Uhhh, Nicole What is it?" Michelle raised one of her eyebrows in question. "Well?"

"Oh I'm never mind." Nicole hung up, Michelle put her phone back into her purse. She always questioned her friends especially Nicole.

Michelle soon reached the coffee shop where her and her friends were going to hang out, but instead they weren't there. She rolled her eyes, she walked over to a table and sat. A waiter walked over and asked for her order.

"Hello ma'am what can i get for you today?" He asked politely.

"Uh, yes I would like one flat white." She asked him and he nodded walking off to the counter to make her coffee. Michelle got her phone out and started to text her friend.

'Where are you?' Sent.

'I told you never mind, and I had to go to work.' Received.

'Oh, well have fun talking to your boss! :)' Sent.

'Thanks.... :( Why do you do this to me?' Received.

'Because your my best friend.' Sent.

'Thanks, well I got to go. Bye talk to you later.' Received.

'Okay bye.' Sent.

'Bye.' Received.

Michelle put her phone away and then the waiter came by to give her, her cup of coffee he placed it slowly on the table.

"Here you are ma'am." He said politely. She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Thank you." He walked off to go back cleaning the dishes. That's when the door bell ringed.

"Hello, welcome to the Blue Box Cafè." Said the waiter turning around to look at the new customer.

"Hello." Said the man, he had a deep voice. He walked in an sat at the table behind Michelle's. "What is the best coffee here?"

"Well I can't really say." Said the waiter looking at him. "I mean it all depends."

"Okay, then what is your best seller?" He asked the man standing on the side of him placing down the menu.

"It's the Flat White. It's made with two ristretto shots, combined with a thin layer of velvety steamed whole milk and finished with a latte art dot. A ristretto shot delivers a sweeter, more intense coffee flavor."

The man turned around to face the woman who said that behind him. "You know what you're talking about don't you?"

"Of course I've been drinking the Flat White ever since I was a kid. Now please excuse me." She placed the money on the table, it was a twenty dollar bill. The waiter was happy. "You did a good job my friend." She patted him on the back and right when she was going to walk out, the man said.

"Oh and miss." She hummed in response. "What if I don't like the Flat White?"

"Then you have no soul." She turned her head and smiled at him, then walked out the door.
