Chapter 1: The Beginning

It's been 20 years since Noah and Natalie saw each other they both have successful lives and both live by themselves. One day they run into each other as they were going to a shopping center.

Noah runs into Natalie not realizing,

"Watch where you're going." Noah said.

"Why don't you asshole." Natalie responded.

They both look at each other and shock washes over there faces as they recognize each other.

"Oh my god, Noah? Is that you?" Natalie asks.

"Yeah it's me how have you been shorty. I've been busy. You? Haven't been up to much just working, shopping and hanging with the boys." Noah asked and replies smirking and laughing to himself then he looks at Natalie and thinks to himself "damn she grew up gorgeous"

Natalie starts waving her hand in front of Noah's face to get his attention but Noah is off in his own little world. Natalie had enough and slaps him across the face which brings Noah back to reality.

"Ow what the hell was that for?!" Noah asked aggressively.

"You spaced out and that's the only way I could get your attention." Natalie said while laughing.

"Haha very funny. Hey would you possibly want to hangout sometime I miss hanging around you." Noah started to rub his cheek to get rid of the pain then asks kinda shyly.

"Sure dumb-ass, I'll see you tomorrow." Natalie said as she gives Noah her number and then walks away continuing on with her shopping.

Noah smiles to himself as he continues his shopping. Once he went to the check out then payed. He went home Natalie did the same. After they put their groceries away. Noah called Natalie.

"Hey was wonder if we can call." Noah said over the phone.

"Yeah sure." Natalie said over the phone.

"Thank you." Noah said over the phone.

"Your welcome." Natalie said over the phone.

"It's been a while." Noah said over the phone.

"You did bully me to the point I had to leave." Natalie said over the phone.

"I'm sorry." Noah said over the phone as his wolf ears went down.

"It's fine I guess." Natalie said over the phone.

"No it's not." Noah said over the phone.

"Wanna use our video?" Natalie said over the phone.

"Sure." Noah said over the phone as he turned on his video.

"Okay." Natalie said over the phone as she turned on her video.

"I missed your voice." Noah said over the phone.

"I missed yours too." Natalie said over the phone.

"Why did we stop being friends again?" Noah asked over the phone.

"Flashback time?" Natalie asked over the phone.

"Yeah." Noah said over the phone.

"I like Noah." Natalie said over the phone as she was on call with Ross her best guy friend.

"You like a werewolf?" Ross asked over the phone.

"Yes a werewolf." Natalie said over the phone.

"Why?" Ross asked over the phone.

"I don't know why but I just do." Natalie said over the phone.

What Natalie didn't know was that Noah was behind the door the whole time. He heard everything from the part where she liked him to the part where she doesn't know why. Yeah he listened in on her conversation.

A few weeks later he asked her to go to the tree-house where he was standing there waiting for her. She got up there and was wondering why he wanted to see her. He was avoiding her all throughout the few weeks.

"Wanted to see me?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah uh you like me?" Noah asked.

"Yeah I do how'd you know?" Natalie asked.

"I was about to knock on the door then I heard my name and froze." Noah said.

"What did you hear exactly?" Natalie asked.

"The whole conversation." Noah said.

"Oh..." Natalie said.

"We can't be friends anymore..." Noah said breaking inside.

"Why?" Natalie asked.

"Because you like me..." Noah said.

"I'm sorry..." Natalie said crying.

"We're not friends anymore..." Noah said as he left the tree-house and went to his house crying into his pillow as he was in his room.

End of the flashback.

"That's what happened." Natalie said over the phone.

"Can I add to that?" Noah asked over the phone.

"Sure." Natalie said over the phone.

"Flashback time?" Noah asked over the phone.

"Yeah." Natalie said over the phone start of the flashback.

"Are you okay son?" Michelle asked as she knocked on the bedroom door.

"Leave me alone." Noah said through sobs.

"I'm coming in." Michelle said as she opened his bedroom door.

"I-" Noah said sobbing again.

"What happened?" Michelle asked.

"I ended the friendship with Natalie..." Noah said sobbing and hugging his mother.

"Why?" Michelle asked as Noah explained.

"Wanted to see me?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah uh you like me?" Noah asked.

"Yeah I do how'd you know?" Natalie asked.

"I was about to knock on the door then I heard my name and froze." Noah said.

"What did you hear exactly?" Natalie asked.

"The whole conversation." Noah said.

"Oh..." Natalie said.

"We can't be friends anymore..." Noah said breaking inside.

"Why?" Natalie asked.

"Because you like me..." Noah said.

"I'm sorry..." Natalie said crying.

"We're not friends anymore..." Noah said as he left the tree-house and went to his house crying into his pillow as he was in his room.

"That's what happened..." Noah said as he was sobbing and breathing heavily.

"Listen son me and Roger knew that your Natalie's soulmate we had no choice but for you two to meet eventually. So when you were two years old when you two met and grew to become best friends. Maybe even more eventually." Michelle explained.

"Wait what?" Noah asked.

"Your her soulmate." Michelle said.

"Oh..." Noah said.

"Well I'm here for you." Michelle said end of flashback.

"That's what happened." Noah said over the phone.

"Wow..." Natalie said over the phone.

"Yeah Roger never told you?" Noah asked over the phone.

"No never told me." Natalie said over the phone.

"Oh well I am." Noah said over the phone.

"Oh well I didn't know that." Natalie said over the phone.
