Chapter 77: Mr. Sato's Murder Case 2

Miwako Sato entered the case storage room at 10:30 as she was delayed by Yumi Miyamoto's gossip power. She saw Seiya reading a case while there were two piles of files and one separate file on the table, she said.

"What did I miss?"

"Just finished checking a couple of files and found some possible evidences, but I found something interesting in this case."

"What is it?"

Seiya showed the file of her father's accidental murder, Miwako Sato frowned as she remembered that today was that day. She looked carefully and saw Seiya has encircled a few words and something in the picture using his pencils. She excitedly asked.

"Are you doubting the evidences in this case?"

"Yes, I don't think he was saying the murderer's name called "Sorrow" But rather he was saying to the murderer that he should surrender....."

"Surrender.....!!!"

Miwako seem to be enlightened as she heard Seiya continue to talk.

"The murderer might be one of Mr. Sato's old friend, if he tried to say surrender. Am I right?"

"...Yes....What about this one?"

Miwako Sato seem a little agitated as she pointed out Seiya's circled in the pictures, Seiya continue to reason out his evidence.

"I don't think the man who shot the security guard in the bank was the only person who planned the crime as you can see in the CCTV photos when the hostages were rounded up. That man over there seem to be excited while walking through the vault and he professionally avoided the camera which is very suspicious."

Miwako nodded as she saw the other CCTV photos, suddenly it made her realized something as she said.

"This person, I know him."

"Who is it?"

" Although he is wearing thick sunglasses , I can still recognize him. It is my father's friend from baseball, Saruwatari Hiderou. Is he related to this case?"

"I'm not sure, but my instinct and feeling tells me he is."

"Well, its better than nothing. By the way can you accompany me somewhere?"

"Sure.."

Miwako hesitated for a split second before inviting him to accompany her somewhere, she thinks that Seiya doesn't know this case was her father. Seiya placed everything back except the three files which he borrowed while writing his name onto the book of borrowers. Miwako led Seiya back to the offices, where they saw Takagi trying his best to draw something as Ayumi and the gang were here. Ayumi Yoshida who saw Seiya immediately forgot about describing the appearance of the Arsonit as she rushed towards him as she shouted.

"Big brother! Your here!"

Seiya hugged Ayumi and raised her up, he asked Takagi.

"What are you doing?"

"Ayumi-chan said that she found someone trying to burn a building at night, so I'm here drawing base on her description. But I don't think I'm talented in drawing...Hehe...."

Takagi helplessly showed them his cartoon drawing that was a bearded man but with big eyes. Seiya placed Ayumi onto the table as he borrowed Takagi's sketch pad and pencil, he asked.

"Ayumi-chan can you tell me what is the appearance of the Arsonist?"

"Well, his eyes were like the eyes of a fox! likes this!"

Ayumi pulled the edge of her eyes which made her look very funny, Seiya wouldn't admit that her description didn't help him as he drew base on the anime from his previous life. The arsonist had hair that reaches the end of his neck while his moustache was bushy while his eyes were like abnormal rectangle. Seiya asked as he showed them his drawing.

"is this guy it?"

"Yes! Big brother drew him very accurately!"

"Takagi, copy this photo and share it to the traffic enforcers and police officers that are on duty in roaming around."

"Roger!"

Takagi saluted Seiya and greeted Miwako before going to the printer, Seiya gave Ayumi a head pat as he said.

" Thanks to Ayumi-chan, our police officers will have an easier time to find the criminal~ What does Ayumi-chan want for a reward?"

"Can I follow Big brother?"

"Sure~ How about you kids?"

"I want to eat Eel Rice! Hehehe"

"Can we also follow along?" -Conan

"Why not?"

Seiya wasn't going to reject free tool boys, Miwako said with a smile.

"Don't be naughty alright?"

"Hai!" -Mitsuhiko & Genta

Seiya led Ayumi and Conan onto his car while Miwako led Genta and Mitsuhiko onto hers, Miwako was planning to visit the location where her father died. Meanwhile Conan who sat on the passenger seat while Ayumi was on the middle, Conan couldn't help but asked.

"Big brother, where are we going?"

"Well, I don't know. I'm just following Miwako, since she wants me to accompany her."

Seiya shrugged his shoulder as he said this statement, he was curious if everything will happen as he expected or there should be a butterfly effect as he began to follow Miwako's car, it was only a 10 minute drive as they arrived in front of a street. They park the cars into the nearest parking before Miwako led them towards a traffic stand where there was a vase with flowers underneath it. Seiya said.

"This is..."

"Where my father died, the case you showed to me was my father's."

Miwako's aura seem to be gloomy as she said this, she clasp her hands as she prayed for her father. Seiya wanted to rub her back and comfort her but it was very rude if he interrupted her prayer. Ayumi and the gang except Conan followed Miwako as they prayed for something they think worth praying such as Eel Rice. Conan unconsciously said the description of the case as his thoughts were like a tape recorder, when it comes to cases.

"The Sorrow Case..."

"Indeed, I didn't expected this case was your father's. I'm sorry, if I let you remember one of your painful memories.."

"It's okay, I just wanted to invite you here. Because my feelings tells me that you can solve my father's case. I also forgot to mention to you, that I would grant any wish of the person who solves this mystery and catches the murderer."

"Any wish?"

"Yes, Any wish..."

Miwako seem to noticed Seiya's deep words as her cheek blush a little, Seiya nodded as he led the kids to the convenience store to buy some bento while he asked Miwako about more evidences that wasn't kept in the file. Miwako remembered that she saw a few letters written in Katakana from her father's police notebook, it was Ka-n-o. Seiya nodded as he remembered every single details that Miwako spoke while he tried comparing it from the anime plot, he assume that Mr. Saruwatari and Mr. Kano are the criminal for this bank robbery and it wasn't an accidental murder case.
